  My Grandaughters wedding

  Highlight of our Wedding

  We found Drella String Quartet on Facebook. We are an older couple from rural northwestern Pennsylvania who happen to love the symphony. After a small intimate church ceremony we held a small wedding dinner with family and a few close friends. The wedding was December 16,2023. As a special treat for our wedding we hired Drella String Quartet. Most attendees were country music fans.
  Drella String Quartet made the trip to our rural area. Gavon was wonderful to work with in arranging the details. The list of songs gave us a variety of genres to choose from. The only music at the church and the reception was the string quartet.
  Everyone, including our country music fans, loved the quartet. My son is as country as you can be and he loved the music. Comments we received included “beautiful music”, “ music was so relaxing ( from my brother who served in the Army Infantry for 20 years), “ perfect music for conversing and fellowship at the reception .” One song the quartet played was a song that was my husband’s parent’s special song years ago. It was a surprise to his brothers. It was beautifully played and brought tears to one of the brothers.
  Having the Drella String Quartet to be the musicians at our wedding was money well spent. They were the highlight of our Christmas wedding.

  Worth Every Penny

  The Drella Quartet was one of the highlights of our wedding. The music was just lovely and they have an extensive catalogue to choose from, including popular music and classics. They were very kind and accommodating when we had a last minute overtime request. Gavon was so helpful and easy to work with. I very highly recommend.

  Great music

  Our wedding at Heinz Chapel would not have been complete without the beautiful Drella string quartet. It absolutely changed the mood of the ceremony and elevated our wedding experience, Gavon was extremely responsive and played all of the songs we wanted, highly recommend!

  Classy and elegant!

  From top to bottom, Drella Quartet delivered! Gavon was so easy to work with, always checking in to make sure we didn't have any questions, making sure there wasn't anything he could help with, he was so great. The amount of compliments we have gotten about the quartet is countless! If you're considering having a quartet, these are the musicians you want at your wedding!

  Absolutely Amazing!

  We received so many compliments on the music provided by Drella String Quartet! It added a modern take on a classical element. We wanted to create those romantic moments like on Bridgerton and they provided that for us! Great selection of music, extremely easy to work with. We loved them and so did our guests!!!

  The Drella String Quartet played during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and they were absolutely amazing! They were very professional and made the process of selecting songs super easy with their online form and song list. Their music was so beautiful and had everyone crying happy tears during our ceremony! Overall, we would highly recommend!

  We were thrilled with the beautiful music Drella Quartet provided for our daughter's wedding ceremony! Drella has an enormous catalog of pieces to choose from and their performance was impeccable. The group arrived on time, was very professional and transitioned perfectly based on cues from our coordinator. We had considered recorded music and are so happy we instead decided to hire Drella! Their music helped to make daughter's gorgeous outdoor ceremony exactly what we had imagined!

  Wedding at St. John Capistran

  So sorry we were not able to meet you all! I'm sure you used to being booked and not being able to meet the people who hired you! But as the groom, I could hear it as I arrived to the church and it was wonderful to hear. You also played at my wife's brother's wedding almost three years ago, so it was nice to have you play for us again! We hope that we find ourselves in a situation in the future where you will be hearing from us again. Thanks so much for everything!

  Lovely sounds

  Working with Drella was lovely. They were responsive and they have a great repertoire. They managed to capture the essence of our day through music, and the sound was fabulous. They showed up on-time, played exactly what we requested, and the sound carried beautifully throughout the space.

  We got engaged six months before covid began, and ended up being engaged for over two years. We rescheduled, downsized, etc and lost several vendors along the way - not Drella String Quartet. They had no problem with us rescheduling. When the day finally came and the strings began playing, that’s when it all finally felt real. Their musicianship is incredible and we could never thank them enough. Weeks later, guests are still talking about them to us! We were so happy to have live musicians at our wedding and would recommend them to anyone!

  From start to finish, Drella String Quartet, have assisted us through the very specific vision of our wedding ceremony. The music selection offered to us from their huge repertoire allows you to have an event that is uniquely yours.
