  Beautiful engagement photos

  Rogier was amazing! He was so much fun to shoot with and knew all the best photo spots. Could not have asked for a better photographer to shoot my engagement, he truly captured our emotions in every picture.

  Incredible Proposal Photography

  I found Rogier online because of his abundance of glowing reviews. I was planning a surprise proposal on top of Cadillac Mountain and wanted someone to capture the moment.
  
  Rogier's communication was world class. We spoke via email, and on the phone twice, before the day and I felt like he clearly understood what I wanted and made sure no questions were unanswered.
  
  The day of the proposal, Rogier was stealthy and discrete, and captured some phenomenal photos as we were walking to the lookout.
  
  My girlfriend, who is now my fiance, and I are amazed at the quality of the images that Rogier took and edited. We plan on ordering several prints to hang in our house.
  
  Everyone we have shown the pictures to echo our thoughts that they are world class.
  
  If you need a wedding or proposal photographer, choose Rogier for your special day. You'll know that you made the right choice once you see his work.

  The man you need to hire

  Rogier is the man! I needed someone to take photos for my planned proposal and he knocked it out of the park on every metric. He knew the best spot to take them and despite that not being my original plan I trusted him and it paid off in a big way. Photo turnaround was way faster than what I expected and he was extremely nice and just took care of business. Book Rogier. You will not regret it.

  Just Wonderful!

  Rogier/Eager Eye Photography did an amazing job capturing our wedding. Rogier communicated well and professionally prior to the wedding day and then throughout the actual day-of. Him and his colleague captured both of us getting ready, every piece of the ceremony, and all of the special moments throughout the reception. His specialty is candids and we recently received all of our photos from the day and that specialty really shows. We couldn’t be more happy with the photos we have been given. We were on the fence with hiring a photographer because of the cost. I will tell you that Eager Eye is well worth the cost, you will not regret it!

  Rogier captured our family so beautifully during our 15-year vow renewal service. After checking out his website and reviews, I booked him and asked for his suggestions for a spot! Not only did he recommend the PERFECT place, it was private, secluded and more than we could have imagined. He was very professional from inquiry to booking to event, and even delivered our photos within a few days (well under his promised delivery date). I absolutely love our photos and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for gorgeous shots. He even captured my 11/13yo boys (despite their hesitation for the camera)! Thank you Rogier!

  My husband I are beyond thrilled with the entire experience with Eager Eye Photography!! Rogier’s work is spectacular and he caught not only the beauty but the emotion of our special day. He has an eye for detail, was solicitous of our desires and he’s a great human being to boot! Rogier helped me set up a surprise proposal photoshoot: He and I were able to coordinate and execute a plan discreetly, and when the time came he captured the moment beautifully. He can recommend several locations in Acadia National Park for photoshoots depending on your preferences. Rogier helped us create incredible memories that my fiancé and I will cherish for a lifetime.

  Amazing Experience Start to Finish

  Rogier is a consummate professional! While I was initially a little hesitant because his cost for engagement photos was on the higher end, I can confidently say it was well worth it. From the start, he was incredibly responsive and never had to wait more than a few hours to hear back. I hadn't been to Acadia before and wasn't sure on the location, but Rogier made several excellent suggestions for me to research (I settled on Sand Beach). He was incredibly thorough helping me plan out the sequence of events and he was a pleasure to work with. Fun and personable, it's easy to be yourself around him, which is essential for great photos. He retouched and sent us the photos FAST and even threw in a few extra shots. I absolutely recommend Eager Eye for engagement shots, and would work with Rogier again in a heartbeat.

  I would highly recommend Rogier & Eager Eye for your Wedding or Engagement photography! Rogier is super responsive and flexible. I used him to take my Proposal pictures in Bar Harbor, ME when I proposed to my fiance. He was super helpful as someone who knows the area and very professional. He made the process easy and less stressful on me, since I had other things to worry about! Ultimately, he produced the pictures that same day to us and they came out excellent! If you are looking for someone to take amazing Wedding, Proposal, or Engagement pictures, give Rogier a call!

  Engagement shoot

  Rogier made our engagement photo shoot absolutely perfect. He gave us just enough coaching and let us feel comfortable and have fun with it. The photos are truly out of this world and i’m so happy we went with him. He couldnt have done a better job! thank you so much!

  Working with Rogier was truly special. He was very professional and experienced with doing surprise proposals out here on MDI and it showed. His knowledge of the weather and island made it seemless to plan out and execute the perfect proposal time and location. His communication with me was effortless and helped ease my anxieties and stress while trying to excute the perfect memory for my girlfriend and me. His pictures capturing the beautiful moment are breathtaking and have generated many tears of joy with us and as we share with family and friends.   Rogier is a supper kind and creative photographer. We loved working with him for our engagement photos. He was open to any ideas we had and helped make all of our ideas come to life. The photos we got were above and beyond what we expected and we are going to cherish them for years to come!   Stunning photos

  Rogier did an amazing and professional job with our engagement photos. During the shoot there was a perfect balance between having enough privacy for us to enjoy the engagement and him providing guidance for poses. We received the photos the same day!

  Wonderful experience!!

  Rogier photographed our surprise proposal in Acadia and the whole experience was absolutely magical. He took us to several of his favorite (breathtaking) spots on the island to take photos. Rogier was kind, creative, and made us laugh and smile throughout. He is clearly very talented at what he does! On top of it, he emailed us the same night with all of our edited photos already ready!! Thank you, Rogier!!

  Rogier photographed our surprise proposal in Acadia and the whole experience was absolutely magical. He took us to several of his favorite (breathtaking) spots on the island to take photos. Rogier was kind, creative, and made us laugh and smile throughout. He is clearly very talented at what he does! On top of it, he emailed us the same night with all of our edited photos already ready!! Thank you, Rogier!!

  Eager Eye Photography was awesome! We used Rogier as our elopement photographer for a small ceremony in Bar Harbor Maine. My wife and I were very happy with his professionalism and expertise. Rogier was very quick to respond and very flexible with our requests. Our daughter had gotten engaged a few days before our elopement and he took some engagement photos in-between our photos. The photos came out great. We couldn't be happier!!!

  Family Photo Session - Damariscotta, Maine

  You won’t do any better! We brought Rogier down to Damariscotta for a family photo session (grandparents; kids; grandkids; in-laws) and could not have been more pleased. The photos are incredible; Rogier made the process easy and stress free (accommodating travel, weather, and Covid-issues); and he was somehow able to keep 5 active kids (ages 4 - 10) fully engaged and happy the entire time.

  There aren't enough words to describe how much we loved his photography. From the begining to the end of the proposal, he captured the perfect moments. He was a pleasure to talk to and work with. We couldn't be any happier. We will cherish these photos forever.
