  I cannot say enough GREAT & WONDERFUL things about Edward!! From the start, he was great to work with. He is easy going but incredibly passionate about his work, which shows in his photographer. Our engagement photos were taken downtown Chicago and absolutely wonderful! We had a few places planned but Edward found this alley and we got some amazing impromtu shots. As for the wedding day, he was a blast to work with! It's a long day of pictures, and he made it so enjoyable. Our engagement photos were taken downtown Chicago and absolutely wonderful! We had a few places planned but Edward found this alley and we got some amazing impromtu shots. As for the wedding day, he was a blast to work with! It's a long day of pictures, and he made it so enjoyable. The whole day went seamlessly, and we took advantage of getting a lot of great photos. Edwards is so creative in finding different shots, and you can be at ease putting your trust in him to get the right shots. Once we get our photos back, I'm sure I'll have even more great things to write. But the few we saw from the back of his camera I was amazed with. Edward also specializes in nature photographer, so if you have an outdoor wedding, he is your guy! I would highly recommend Edward to any bride. You cannot go wrong with him!! I will be using him for photographer again!

  Hiring Edward as the photographer for our wedding was one of the easier decisions my wife and I had to make. We met Edward at his house in Naperville and he spoke with us and showed us his some of his work. Unlike other photographers we had met with, Edward showed us all of the photos he had taken for other weddings. He was showing us that anyone can get lucky, take a few good pictures, and make a portfolio to show potential clients. Unlike the other photographers, Edward had nothing to hide. He was showing us that anyone can get lucky, take a few good pictures, and make a portfolio to show potential clients. Unlike the other photographers, Edward had nothing to hide. He does wonderful work and he knows it. He isn't cocky about it but has a quiet confidence that you want your photographer to have. He was very flexible and open to suggestions; Edward expressed ideas he liked for us and was very receptive to the ideas we had for him. Rather that just snap random pictures, Edward's pictures created a story of our day. He told my wife and I that our pictures would be done in 4-6 weeks, but probably closer to 6 weeks. They were done in 18 days. He is an extremely hard worker, with a wonderful eye for photography, and has a laid back personality which really helps on a potentially stressful day. If you're even considering Edward as your photographer, consider no more and just say yes, you won't be disappointed.

  Choosing Edward Weiland as our photographer was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. As a bride, meeting with different photographers and vendors was completely overwhelming and stressful. Hearing complaints from several other friends who chose more “corporate” photographers was frightening while planning our own wedding. Edward made us feel so comfortable during our initial meeting. He has been nothing but wonderful to work with ever since. Our engagement pictures turned out absolutely beautiful – especially given the fact that Edward took them outside… during a tornado warning.   Choosing Edward Weiland as our photographer was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. As a bride, meeting with different photographers and vendors was completely overwhelming and stressful. Hearing complaints from several other friends who chose more “corporate” photographers was frightening while planning our own wedding. Edward made us feel so comfortable during our initial meeting. He has been nothing but wonderful to work with ever since. Our engagement pictures turned out absolutely beautiful – especially given the fact that Edward took them outside… during a tornado warning. Edward created a perfect time schedule for the day, and seeing that time schedule during the time leading up to our wedding was a HUGE stress reliever! He was extremely personable, asking for names of bridal party members well in advance of our day. Having a wedding party of eleven couples, Edward was incredibly patient in setting up pictures, and directing people to where they needed to be with the enormous group. That being said, Edward dealt wonderfully with ALL of the types of personalities he came across throughout the day. We had a great time with him, and laughed so much throughout the day. We are so excited to see our wedding pictures, and so happy that we picked Edward Weiland to capture the moments of the most important day of our lives! We highly recommend him to anyone else planning a wedding!

  Steve and I were so thrilled with our wedding pictures! We were looking for a photographer that knew what pictures to take when but also would ask for our input, and we got exactly that! When we sat down with you before our wedding we really felt like you got to know us and what we wanted, and you made everything feel very personal. On our wedding day you made us feel so comfortable and made taking pictures fun. We couldn't believe how many amazing pictures you took! I cannot tell you how many compliments we have gotten on our wedding album. We would recommend you to all our friends and family!

  As you know, southwest Michigan has a special place in our hearts. We wanted to make sure picture of us were captured in the vineyards of the wineries, as well as the beaches of New Buffalo, just as the sun set over the Lake. We didn't know how this could happen, especially with us living in the western suburbs of Chicago. The fact that you, without batting an eye, offered to meet us two hours around the Lake on a Sunday afternoon, so all that is special to our relationship could be captured in our Engagement Photos, was more meaningful to us than you know.
  
  Based on your experience and expertise, you understand not all goes as planned when preparing for a wedding. Every time an unexpected wrinkle came up, you showed incredible professionalism, and adjusted around our schedule. Not very many people are as willing to be that flexible and for that, thank you.
  
  We spent nearly a year planning our wedding. A year’s prep for an event that lasted one day. An event and a day that we wanted to be perfect. Based on the quality of your work product, Lindsay and I now have hundreds of reminders of the best, most perfect day of our lives.

  Edward was able to keep a relaxed, comfortable and fun atmosphere the whole time during our engagement session and my entire wedding day. My husband, who is not a huge fan of picture taking, had a great time and was completely mesmerized at the quality of our photos. So was I! Edward was able to capture moments in a way I've never seen before. My wedding album is amazing!

Eds' eye for detail and personality was what sparked my intrest in his services. After looking at different photographers and companys none matched the personal touch that we thought we wanted. He was so pleasant to work with and knew what would look excellent, the poses looked so natural and we never felt uncomfortable. We were so happy with him that day, and was so relieved to see that he wasn't going to make our wedding day chaotic with rushed photos. Ed was at my mothers' house at least an hour before his scheduled time and took the time to walk around and get a feel for the upcoming photos. His attention to detail does not stop however at photography, any questions we had or rescheduling that needed to be done was never a problem. He was always just a phone call away and returned the call the same day if he did not anwser which was very rare. Ed made our day special with the photos he took, I can honestly say that no one or any company can come close to his work!!!

  Ed is a FANTASTIC photographer. The photos that were taken of our wedding were nothing short of stunning. He very clearly values quality and it shows. He is also very knowledgeable and is willing to step in with a helping hand when things start to get hectic. Can't recommend him enough.

His pictures captured the raw moments of our ceremony and reception - and most of the time, we didn't know he was shooting! He even worked with us to get certain pictures out of the way early, so we could enjoy the night with our family and friends. He also took the time to visit our reception location (Patrick Haley Mansion in Joliet, IL) in advance, so he could plan shots in advance, instead of trying to figure it out the night of. A incredible professional, with a personal touch. We absolutley love the hundreds of pictures he took, and recommend Edward to everyone we know.

  One word that I could best use to describe Edward Weiland would be Excellence! I absolutely loved the way that he was so organized, he knew exactly what pictures to take and where to take them. His way of doing things were smart he sat down and talk to me about everything I wanted and what I didn't want, there was not a single picture he took that I didn't want!! He made my day go absolutely smooth. There is nothing negative to say about him. His eye for an excellent picture is right on every picture he took was goregous...I will recomend him to every couple that I run into. I couldn't of asked for more perfect pictures than the ones he provided.
