Therese coordinated our wedding not once but twice (due to COVID rescheduling). She was absolutely incredible and we truly could not have made our wedding happen without her. She is incredibly professional, always available (my husband and I have very difficult work schedules and she was willing to call/text at odd hours to accommodate us), and has a TON of experience. She has an excellent design sense and is incredibly cost-conscious (she prevented us from spending money where we did not need to and helped us prioritize which expenses would make the largest impact). She is very practical and knowledgeable and is the perfect leader for coordinating all the vendors for our big day. We had a few day-of-the wedding "issues" that would have turned into disasters if Therese had not intervened. She handled everything so efficiently and most of all, she kept our events running on time. Several people asked me for her info after our wedding as they were so impressed with how smoothly everything had run. Could not recommend her enough as a wedding coordinator!! She and her team are an absolute pleasure to work with! -

Therese and her team at Electric Karma were absolutely phenomenal! We hired Therese after we attended a couple of our friends' weddings that she ran. We are so happy we chose her! The entire planning experience was made much more bearable with her at our side. She handled negotiations with vendors, saved us lots of money, helped facilitate issues between our parents, and so much more. She had great ideas for decor, room set up, entrances, and all the moments that were important to us. She also knew more about Indian wedding traditions and ceremonies than we did! Her advice and attention to detail really made our wedding fun and memorable.
The actual wedding week went so smoothly thanks to her! We were able to completely trust her and any problem that arose, she took care of. Our guests also loved her and complimented us on how efficiently and effectively she ran everything. And she is especially good at making sure the couple eats at every event, so she was always ready with a plate of food and a drink whenever we needed her. Thank you so much Therese for making such an important moment in our life so special! -

As a wedding vendor ourselves, we had the pleasure of working with the Electric Karma team several times. Therese is very professional and organized. The team helps all the vendors at every part of the wedding. Ultimately, a successful client event is an outcome of every individual vendor being successful, and that is this team focuses on. They even help us organizing groups for group shots. Live events like weddings can throw some unforeseen surprises, and we encountered one at a recent wedding. It is really commendable how Therese handled the situation in a very thoughtful and professional way. Giving the team all the five stars they deserve. -

Electric Karma was the most important vendor at our wedding. Therese was essential in keeping us on schedule not only while planning but also during the events.
She has so much experience when dealing with other vendors, and she remembers all these little details that help make a wedding perfect.
We had our wedding during the pandemic, which would have been unbearably stressful without Therese. She handled every last-minute change and helped us enforce high safety standards throughout the weekend.
It’s been a year since the wedding, and people still tell us that it was one of their favorite weddings to attend. If you’re looking for a wedding planner, you will not go wrong with Electric Karma. -

Amid Covid, with less than 25 days to plan the wedding, Therese from Electric Karma did such a tremendous job organizing my wedding! This was a very unique wedding, with masks, social distancing, boxed food and zoom live streaming. It's hard to not mess up when trying something new. Therese did such an incredible job organizing the entire event. From day 1, what we needed was assurance that nothing will go wrong. Therese did exactly that. She was so organized and on top of everything that things happened before we could think of them. She has a very strong personality. She can manage people and get them to do things. She was considerate of our traditions and family dynamics. It's is great combination of sensitivity and strength. I appreciate her work ethic. I have seen her start work as early as 6 am and end as late as 11 pm. With her spreadsheet, she keeps tabs on all the little things that go on in the wedding.
We needed the wedding attendees to be assured that the wedding was covid safe. Therese took every measure to enforce all precautions we could take. From doing temperature checks to making sure food boxes were sanitized to ensuring social distancing during photographs, our wedding was truly a Covid-Safe Wedding.
Despite all the restrictions, she managed to create a beautiful event. The mandap looked stunning. All the decor was fresh. She is very good with colors!
My husband and I, along with our families appreciate the work she and her team did. You cannot go wrong with Electric Karma! -

Therese and her team at Electric Karma made our destination wedding dreams a reality. My husband and I dreamed of a tropical destination wedding in Bali. Despite this being her first Bali wedding, Therese travelled there with us and worked endlessly to help find our dream venue. Despite there being a 12 hour time difference between Texas and Bali, she would conference call vendors in Bali sometimes at 2am without any hesitation. She truly will do whatever she can to make the entire wedding process seamless for the bride and groom.
After traveling halfway across the world, we wanted our guests to have a truly unique experience. They could not stop praising how well organized and seamless all our wedding events were, and it was absolutely all because of Therese and her team! Her experience is unparalleled and it definitely shows in the end result. She is absolutely the best and we cannot thank her enough! -

The Best Out There!
This team made my wedding even better than I could've imaged. I was absolutely calm and never stressed. They made sure every little thing was detailed and planned for ultimate efficiency. They're always willing to work with you as well as go above and beyond means. Its not about the money for them, its sincerely about you. I don't recommend or review stuff unless I 100% loved everything about it. Only con I have is that I miss the team and working with them. Thank you Therese, Masood, and Renu for making it a memorable one!! -

Highly experienced!!!
Therese is a whirlwind of energy, and she will work tirelessly to ensure you have the wedding of your dreams! I have never met someone who had so many things going on at once, but still kept everything in order. She traveled to Spain with us to help find our dream venue and plan our wedding. She also partnered up with another local wedding planner there, Crystal Events, in order to ensure communication and coordination with vendors was not compromised. When we were in Barcelona, Therese was in her total element. She makes sure she gets to know what the couple likes and dislikes, and she took that and went full steam ahead with the vendors, creating a vision of our wedding that we and our guests will never forget. Therese is especially an expert at wedding décor and during the 3 days of wedding events, she was our director. She paid attention to every detail, from how a room should be setup to what the guest should experience every step of the way. As a bride or a groom, you are so engrossed in the moment and being with your family and friends, that the last thing you want to do is look at your watch, or worry about if the table cards were put out. Therese, along with her team, spent numerous hours hanging flowers and decorating the room before each event began. She was strict about keeping us to a schedule, and I am glad she did! Therese and her team executed on it all for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful for it. She makes the process fun and less daunting, and empowers you to make the important decisions to make your wedding even more magical than you had dreamt of. We highly recommend Electric Karma for any Indian destination wedding! -

The best part about her is that she is so good at shielding the bride and groom away from anything that may not be going according to plan on their big day. -

WE felt like celebrities with her special attention to detail and commitment to our special day. She oversaw the food, ceremony, music, dancing, flowers, decoration, set-up and tear down (out door wedding).
Therese made our day a memory of a lifetime! Any "troubles" were taken care of without our knowledge so that we could be with our guests.
I can whole heartedly recommend her to any bride and groom. She was extremely helpful and did everything in her power to help us stay in our budget, while maximizing the outcome.

User1631881 Sent on 05/25/2014Therese was an amazing resource for me during my wedding! I live in Philadelphia but my husband and I are both from Texas and we were having the wedding in Houston. She has great relationships with a lot of the vendors so that made the process very easy. She is also so great and willing to be the bad guy when it comes to having some of those difficult conversations with the parents! Over all I felt that she went above and beyond. She was there super early and stayed until we brought the night to a close and then took care of the after party as well! I would highly recommend her for your wedding!

We hired Therese and Electric Karma for our wedding and were happy w the services provided ! Therese had worked w a few of our vendors in Ohio before which helped especially since she knew our decor vendor from previously and also was able to secure us a good discount just Bc of her precious association w them. She was able to tell us a lot of things in planning that we would not otherwise have known to ask or think about. The weekend of she was wonderful and a huge help in every aspect. She and her assistant Michelle made sure we ate food at every event ( which otherwise may have not happened). They made sure every item was delivered to each venue and used the way we wanted it. After each event we did not have to worry at all (or our families) about packing and the responsibility of items (card box , cake, guest book etc) coming back to the hotel. Therese and her team took care of this. I felt like she made it very easy for us and our families, We were over all very happy w the services. I felt very stress free the weekend of my wedding. -

It’s so hard to put into words how invaluable Therese was and how much of our beautiful wedding is owed to her. Therese is incredibly dynamic and a natural leader and these qualities made it really easy to navigate the endless logistics/coordination that are necessary in any wedding. She went above and beyond for us. Our wedding was a backyard wedding which meant there was a lot of extra work bringing in everything from electricity to lighting to ice trailers to make my dream of a luxury backyard ballroom come to life. Therese handled it with ease and grace, becoming like our family along the way. One thing that sets her apart is that she has really good taste and helped design the wedding in addition to producing it. This really elevated the taste level of all our decor and the overall experience. More than anything, she is an incredibly lovely person and is committed and devoted to what she does for others, which is producing beautiful events to celebrate an important moment in our lives. My family and I cannot thank her enough for her creativity, loving attitude, and bulldog spirit. I’m so grateful to her and her team and that she will be a part of my wedding memories forever.
