    A dream to work with!

    Peter's work is absolutely amazing. He took a photo I showed him and turned it into a reality, listening to all of my thoughts and capturing the vibe perfectly. The bouquets and floral decor at the church and reception venue were gorgeous and it's very evident how much work and heart goes into everything he creates. His expertise and excellent taste extends beyond flowers and his suggestions for other decor details at our wedding were crucial.

    Peter was easy and fun to work with! Peter was the first and only florist we meet with! When he started finishing the my daughter's,the bride, sentences and understood exactly what she was looking for, we knew we had made the perfect connection. His work is artistry. The flowers were fresh and beautiful. His floral designs are amazing. His suggestions were exactly what the bride was looking for.
    Peter was a delight! Fun easy going! Meticulous! and what an eye for beauty!
    I would highly recommend Elegant Effects and would absolutely use him again!

    We recently got married on NYE and used Elegant Effects as our florist. Peter and Chris did the most amazing job! If you use Elegant Effects you can be sure your flowers will be gorgeous and memorable! The flowers were straight out of a magazine and anything but ordinary! Peter and Chris were great to work with! We highly recommend!

    Peter and Chris were wonderful to work with during the wedding planning process. They were extremely responsive and professional through out the year. They were able to take my wisp of an idea and turn it into a cohesive and elegant final product. They were flexible when my family wanted to add our own creations in addition to theirs. The flowers and atmosphere they created were amazing and we are so grateful to have worked with such a fantastic team.

    Peter and Chris were a delight to work with from the beginning of the process to the end. I would recommend them for any event! They created the exact atmosphere that we wanted without any hassles at all. They took charge and carried out the decor flawlessly.

    Elegant effects was amazing! They were incredible to work with, incredible professional and all around easy to work with. From the start I knew it was the perfect team to have on my side, I told Peter exactly what I was thinking about doing and he helped to lead me in the right direction by providing his expert knowledge. Everything was beautiful on the day of my wedding and all the flowers were on time and perfect, I didn't have to think twice about anything. When I arrived at my venue I was blown away by how beautiful the room looked. Peter and Chris went above and beyong and I couldn't have asked for anything more. It was Perfect. Last minute they also provided flowers for my rehearsal dinner and all of the guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were. So easy and wonderful to work with, I would recommend them to everyone !

    I love sunflowers and wanted them to be prominent in the wedding. Some people had told me that they would clash with other flowers and wouldn't work but Peter and Chris got it right away. I wanted a wildflower look and they put together such natural and colorful arrangements full of different types of sunflowers and grasses. They were very creative-coming up with inventive ideas for the centerpieces and ferns-and not to mention extremely generous-letting us keep all the containers and the flowers! My bouquet and those of the bridesmaids were truly stunning and all of our guests commented on how gorgeous the arrangements were. I just got our wedding photos back and the flowers really pop!

    Peter and his team are true geniuses at what they do. To start they respect your budget and will work with you to create the look and feel you are looking for within your means. Peter is great to work with and easy to talk to. He incorporated my love for pumpkins into my wedding with such class and elegance it still boggles my mind how he came up with such beautiful ideas. I could not be happier with what we received. My bouquet was gorgggggggeous!!!!!! I wish I could have kept it alive forever. If you are need of a florist, Peter is your man. You can't go wrong with this talent!

    Elegant Effects was recommended to us, and they were fabulous! I had previously met with 3 other florists and was disappointed by each of them for different reasons. Chris and Peter were wonderful. From our first meeting, they understood "the look" that we wanted to achieve and made great recommendations based on that. They were incredibly organized and profesional and even exceeded my expectations. ( What mother of the bride says that?) I would hire them again in a heartbeat! We had raves reviews from all all our wedding guests on how our tables (flowers, candleabra, votives, tableclothes, napkins) were spectacular.

    Peter and Chris did all the flowers for my wedding and I couldn't be more pleased. Their personal style in their home office and warm personalities really sealed the deal for us when we had our first meetings. My bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were just gorgeous and the execution of the rest of the flowers was flawless and more beautiful than what I imagined. Peter and I worked closely on the decor and feel of the reception and he was a great partner- helped guide my ideas and focus my DIY projects. The flowering branch displays at the church, reception foyer, and the towering displays atop urns and pedestals in the the main dining room took my breath away and created the kind of atmosphere I was hoping for. Peter and Chris were just a dream to work with and I would recommend them to anyone!

    We have used Elegant Effects for two weddings with very different venues.
    They did a fabulous job creating inviting environments out of either a large vacant tent in the back yard or a multi-room interior. The attention to detail is impeccable. They were very responsive to the brides' wishes and were a lot of fun to work with. The floral arrangements were spectacular and very creative, they have the vision and I stay out of the way. They are more than "florists" because the decorate the entire space taking care of lighting, tablecloths & napkins, table card displays while advising on colors and any other questions you might have. I would hate to plan a wedding without them by my side.

    Chris is Peter are the best! They immediately picked up on the style I was going for and helped guide me along the decision making process. Their work exceeded all of my expectations on my wedding day. I highly recommend their services.

    Chris and Peter are brilliant and creative! They took a difficult reception area and transformed it magically into a beautifully lighted and flowered wonderland! They also LISTEN! Our Bride could have only one visit with them to get across her desires because she was coming only once before the wedding from Australia to Connecticut! They fulfilled all her desires and more! She particularly requested lighting a huge tree as one of her most important preferences and they turned that tree into a twinkling beauty! She requested a special Australian flower as part of the table decor and they found it and made it fit beautifully! The reception room was difficult to light, but they had floating candles at different heights on the tables to make the room sparkle! They are amazing!

    Elegant Effects, Inc. could not have been more incredible to work with! Chris Lennon and Peter Stephens are not only talented, creative, and professional but they are truly wonderful people. There was never a worry in my mind that the arrangements would not be perfect and would be set and delivered on time. On your wedding day, that is exactly what you hope every vendor can provide. When I say that the most compliments we received were regarding the flower arrangements, I am telling the truth. We were thrilled that we were able to send our friends and family home with such gorgeous flowers to enjoy after the wedding. I have been and will continue to recommend Peter and Chris.

    They made the process worry free from the engagement party to the wedding reception. They followed our theme perfectly, listened to our wants and then incorporated everything we asked for and more into the final product all while staying within our budget. The attention to the little details was amazing. We still look back at the pictures and see things for the first time. I have recommended Elegant Effects to two of my friends that have also used them for their childrens weddings.

    Elegant Effects is the best florist! They made our wedding magical. Every detail was perfect. They were easy to work with, creative and extremely accommodating. They are more then florist, they are designers. We did not worry about one thing since they were in charge! We didn't see the venue until we arrived for our reception, but never worried. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. Their vision is outstanding. We did not know what to do for a winter wedding, black tie with black bridesmaid dresses but they did. They are the reason our wedding was so elegant and special.

    The original proposal that Elegant Effects gave us was much higher than where we wanted to come in. They were very flexible in working with us to cut corners and made many great suggestions. A few weeks before the wedding they had us to their beautiful home to see the arrangement mock-up which was stunning. They had even picked out the perfect table cloth for us that we ended up using. Highly recommend working with them.

    Peter and Chris were amazing! The flowers were exactly what I wanted and were stunningly beautiful. Peter was creative but listended to what we wanted and came up with a gorgeous vision. I could not have been more pleased with how the church and our reception looked. In addition, Peter was a pleasure to work with. He was fun, easygoing and responsive.     My (new) husband and I have a short list of vendors we adored, and we want to pay it forward so that others can enjoy the same services. Elegant Effects is among those few vendors.

    Peter spent time with us going through pictures to understand exactly what I wanted (and didn't want). He picked it up right away. He understood that we were on a budget, and only suggested flowers where we really needed them (yes, a statement piece at the entrance; no, no one will notice at the bar). He created a beautiful, simple chuppah for us, and was responsive when we asked for a runner last minute.

    I can't say enough how stunning the flowers were for my wedding. The sensitive color and texture, their fragile ephemeral beauty. Elegant Effects took what I described and then took it a step beyond my dreams. Everyone praised the flowers and my bridesmaids went ape-shit when Peter at Elegant Effects delivered them. I am holding onto my bouquet, the bridesmaid bouquet, and the centerpiece while I can enjoy them. I felt like I wanted to stay home all day just to spend time with my flowers.

    Thank you for bringing magic and fantasy to my wedding. It was a memory I will treasure always.

    Peter & Chris were a pleasure to work with. They really helped me refine my vision for my big day and bring it to life. From the centerpieces and table linens to the chuppah and escort card table - everything Peter & Chris created for my wedding was perfect!
