    I have no idea what these last few people are talking about. Elegant Events by J&S and all of their staff are amazing. First, their pricing is on point. They do not nickel and dime their clients. They are upfront about pricing and contract details and never upcharge you for things you have already paid for. The problem I ran into was that I did not read (and honestly I did not listen) when they told me that their all-inclusive packages were cheaper than just adding things here and there. I took it upon myself initially to hire other vendors to try to save money and that ended up costing me $2k more than what Elegant Events By J&S quoted me! Luckily, I gave them my quotes and contracts and they were able to either lower the costs from those vendors or found a way to get me out of those overpriced contracts without penalty and I used their vendors. There were times when SeSe was busy and I had a hard time reaching her but you have to understand that two people run this entire company. Keeping their full time staff small is how they can give us the low prices. Elegant Events By J&S did not skimp on their services. They even give you a little more than what you bargain for by filling in the blanks. And yes! Their wedding coordination was amazing! They came in with these cute purple folders and handed them to all of the vendors. Inside was an itinerary that outlined everything that was going on behind the scenes and my wedding went out without a hitch! Honestly, if I tried to go super cheap and not answer all of the emails sent by Elegant Events by J&S, my wedding would have been a mess. For all of the prospective clients, understand that they can only do what you allow them to do. If you do not give them the information necessary to fully plan your event or if you try to remove services/products they tell you are important, you will regret it. Trust them. They are the professionals. I will hire them again and again! A++++++ service!

    I hired Elegant Events By J&S back in January 2014 to plan my daughter's sweet 16 as I am a working mom and did not have time to stop and plan something amazing for my daughter. I was a little skeptical about hiring a stranger to throw such a personal event for me but I am glad that I did. I literally handed Sherran money and told her to make it happen. Little did I know that I was going to end up with such a beautiful event! I would have never thought I could get such an elegant event with my tight budget. I am truly thankful for all of her hard work as I could not have done this myself. I still get teary eyed thinking about it.

    I am pleased with the services I was provided by Elegant Events By J&S. I love that they are budget based. I gave them my budget and they gave me a wedding for what I can afford. I didn't expect so much for my budget.

    As soon as I found out that I could marry my life long partner, I quickly stared calling around to see which wedding officiants I could afford. Luckily, my second call was the best one yet!

    Not only did I book wedding officiant service, I was also able to have my wedding arch, custom favors, bouquets, wedding cake, and centerpieces all done by the same company! Sooooo much stress off of my chest. A+ service!

    I HAD MY COMPANY'S GRAND OPENING BACK ON 1/4/15 AND ELEGANT EVENTS BY J&S THREW AN AMAZING PARTY FOR MY COMPANY. THEY HIRED A DJ, CATERER, AND BAKED A CUSTOM CAKE AND COOKIES FOR MY EVENT. IT WAS NICE TO SEE SO MANY SMILING FACES AFTER SO MANY YEARS. IT TOOK ME 10 YEARS TO START MY OWN BUSINESS AND I FEEL THAT SHERRAN BROUGHT CUSTOMERS TO ME THAT WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN ABOUT MY STORE.     I never leave reviews but I have to say that I am speechless when it comes to the quality of work that Sherran and her team produces. She is amazingly detailed oriented and thought out everything about my wedding. I loved how affordable all of her services and her vendors were. I got an all-inclusive wedding for under $5000! This included the venue, catering, photography, and everything! I am currently pregnant and have already booked Elegant Events By J&S for my baby shower. Thanks ladies!

    Elegant Events By J&S is really a one stop shop. I contacted them about getting help with decorating for my wedding and learned that with the budget I had, I qualified for an all-inclusive wedding!! I cannot believe that I was able to get so much for so little. I am highly impressed with Sherran's professionalism and organization. She was amazing! Did you know that she does custom cakes too! Get it all from one place for one low cost!

    The services we received from Elegant Events By J&S for our Wedding and reception began before the date of our wedding. Although we had only a few week to plan, Sherran took the time to meet with us a few times and was very flexible. She was able to work with our budget, ideas, and different styles to create an amazing day for us to share with our family. Every detail was discussed and customized from our wedding favors to bouquets, even our into into the reception, and she was present at the event to ensure everything ran smoothly. Aside from the flexible planning, amazing decorations, and spectacular execution of the event; Sherran was genuine in her care for our special day. She made sure to give useful advice when we needed, catered to our family members, and made our Wedding even more amazing! We will be using her services for more event in the future.

I cannot believe it was so easy and affordable to have my party designed and executed by Elegant Events By J&S. I LOVE what my friends and family are still saying about my party! I did not think I could have 200 people enjoy themselves so much! Absolutely no complaints!

    The guest were very pleased and commented on the wonderful lighting. The venue was perfect and looked like a Hollywood production.

    My daughter and her friends are still talking about her Quince! I love Sherran's attention to detail and the fact that she personalized so many things for my daughter to keep to remember her big day. I love the fact that Elegant Events By J&S is budget - based even more!

    I am amazed by my wedding planners! I thought I could do this alone but boy was I wrong. I booked Elegant Events only 90 days before my wedding and they pulled everything off in style. I am impressed how far they stretched my budget to make my event beautiful. Thanks ladies!!

    I spent weeks working with an event planner who did not nothing but ask me what I wanted to do for my wedding. I wasted hours of my time sitting down in constant meetings trying to get my vision across to a highly professional (yet seemingly uneducated) wedding planner.

    I thought all was lost until I found Elegant Events By J&S. Not only did they immediately get my vision, they were able to create an entire event budget and list of services in a single phone call! On top of this, they come to me for consultations and work around my schedule.

    My guests and I are still in shock at the beautiful décor they provided for my wedding. And the cake?!? Delicious! I couldn't believe I was able to get all I had for my budget. My guests are still raving about our custom favors. Ten thumbs up ladies!

    Elegant Events by J S were very easy to work. They were able to accommodate all of my needs for my ceremony and reception. They also made my cake which was delicious and there were many compliments on it.

    This vendor is very professional. Her communication leading up to the event was excellent. She was responsive and seemed to understand exactly what we expected. Unfortunately several guests did not receive their invitation. The decorations were subpar and even though she showed pictures of what she was going to do, the disclaimer said they were approximations. Unfortunately that was not the case and there was no apology. Many out of town guests were late (so the event started at 5:45 instead of 5p) because the weather in Tampa was very bad that night and the vendor stated that was why the food was as tasteless and dry as it was. Everyone was hungry after long drives and long flights, so they did eat the food but that should not be the assessment of how it tasted. The presentation of the food was even bad.The vendor was busy that day so I understand not asking me if I was pleased but there was no follow-up at all until I complained about being dissatisfied on another site and she responded there, albiet very professionally, but not following up with me personally. My parents did call her and she still didn't apologize stating that everyone was happy. My farther wants to sue but I'm not trying to ruin this business owner. I know she can do good work. I saw pictures of her other work and was very surprised at the low quality of ours. She discounted the package because we didn't use her photographer or DJ and I believe she reduced her cut and wish she would have stated they she couldn't do it. I used a local person because I live out of town and was pregnant but I would ( and should) have just done it myself. I would have ensured that it was special for my parents.

    Sherran seemed very professional when we were considering her services and when we initially met with her to sign the contract. She charged additional fees and was dishonest about many things such as price for any additional person at the venue, transfer fees etc. There was uplighting missing, dj was down graded with no lights, my archway for my ceramony was not there as planned, the photographer was not a professional ( he said it was something he did on the side) and you could clearly tell. On my wedding day I had to go look for her and i was really stressed out. She was no where to be found when i needed her and not once came to the dressing room to ask if there was anything she could do or give me peace of mind. After we paid her, i could never get a hold of her through phone, email or text messege. She claimed to be out of town every week and I would get a response maybe if lucky 5 days later. I would not recommend her to anyone.

    PLEASE find someone else!! I have never in my life written a review & it has taken me this long to write because the sadness & im sorry to say anger I have had has been overwhelming.Initially Sherran was fantastic & put me at ease that I was making the right decision is choosing her company. She was very professional, sweet, responsive and talked the talked basically. Until that contract was signed then poof! total change in the way she conducted business. Almost every weekend she was "out of town for an event", and after 6 or 7 days not hearing from her and multiple emails, calls, and text she would reply or call back with a sweet voice& say "Oh hmm I didnt get any calls from your or text, but you know how technology is"... Now I am quite a smart individual so to even go there with me was an insult but my money was in her pocket and I had to go with the flow for my brides sake. She vanished before the wedding to the point that the DJ and the venue were calling me trying to find her and asking me if we still had a wedding. Our fabulous DJ with lights and mix tables turned to a DJ who she hired last minute& only paid him half of what he charges bc it was last minute. Poor guy made the best of the situation but he used Youtube for songs, no lights nothing. ALL the linens were wrinkled, my cake..super small cake, was lopsided and dry, nothing like what we taste tested. The photographer was not a professional one per his words when I asked him his business name at the wedding was "This is just something I do" which explains why I had to direct the wedding party pics because it was sloppy, had people in no sort of aesthetically appealing poses. I received my pics 3 weeks later and sorry to say the pics I got from my guest were better. I can go on and on but you get the point. I write this in hopes that I can spare someone else the heartache & the loss of their money. PLEASE dont go through what we did, I now question the validity of some of the reviews on here.
