    My chef for ever

    Elevated Cuisine by Chef Lex made our wedding an unforgettable event. Every bite was a delicious experience thanks to Chef Lex's incredible culinary skills. From the French hors d’oeuvres to the sushi station, every detail was perfect. Chef Lex's dedication to working with us and adapting to our needs made our special day even more memorable.     Christmas Party with Ease!

    We had a Christmas party for a women’s group. Chef Lex created a delicious meal for us and served it beautifully! Everyone was raving about how delicious and tender the chicken Arrabiata was, the fresh green beans with very tasty mushrooms and the cute little dessert cups that were festive and just the right size. It was so nice for all of us to just show up to the party and have the food taken care of. Many of our members asked for her business card for their own events!

    As Always.. An Amazing Experience with Chef Lex

    As always the food and service provided by Chef Lex was absolutely amazing! Most recently Chef Lex catered my wedding and I couldn’t have been happier. Her attention to detail and exceptional skill set truly elevated the experience not only for myself, but for my guests as well. Hiring Chef Lex for your event should be the easiest decision you make because she delivers every. single. time.

    Amazing experience

    Chef Lex did an amazing job catering our wedding! Not only was she super professional and punctual but her food was phenomenal! We will definitely be contacting her for future events.

    Friendly and flexible

    Chef Lex was incredible for our reception. She was creative and listened to our needs. She had no problem with our event that served over 200 guests. The menu was a hit! She made our night perfect.

    Not as expected

    We were so excited to work with Chef Lex since we had a tasting and enjoyed her food. Her team was easy to work with and very communicative however the day before our wedding we were made aware that we needed to buy forks and plates for the cake cutting. They were later able to provide forks so we got the plates but we had to send our uncle on the day of the wedding to buy plates. Then the day of our wedding the food we were served was cold and soggy. Then I was told by our coordinator that we ran out of food and some of our guests were served scraps. I didn't find out until later, but this was so embarrassing and disappointing. I am not sure what happened since we even had 10 less people show up than what our guest count was. I didn't want to focus on the bad the day of the wedding so I didn't say anything, but reflecting now this was not acceptable.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your review and I apologize that you weren’t completely satisfied with our service. I would like to start off by saying that you paid for 75 guest and we arrived to the venue there were 82 placement. Since we brought additional plate rentals, we were able to add the full plate rental to all the seats at no extra cost. During the pass around for the Hors D’oeuvres , we counted over 75 people. During dinner service over 80 guest were served. 2 people came in line twice that were told about to the coordinator and she agreed your count was too way low. in addition to your account being too low for your dinner guest count, your account was also too low for your kids meals and your vendor meals . You ordered only 3 kids meals and we ended up serving 9. You ordered only 5 vendor meals and we served 10. Your final guest count was EXTREMELY over and not once did we mention it or complain. We found a way to serve the 98 guest that got served. Which was your original account before you lowered it 15 days before. We did run out of one of the side of eggplant for the last 3 guest, but we did not run out of the entrée(orange chicken ) and even were able to leave out the remaining orange chicken, fried rice and a salad for the buffet line for the guests come back around again. We did bring the forks and and I told you and your coordinator days before that we don’t provide the plates for cake cutting, and then I reminded you all again the day before. You hired us for the cake cutting just a week and a half before your event. However, we still did bring paper plates for the cake cutting and gave them to your coordinator during the cake cutting and she opted to use yours instead. We brought 100 plates and we left the leftovers next to your cake along with the leftover forks, and the leftover fried rice from the buffet line. All of this was discussed with your coordinator at the times instances happened and she was so happy with our work that she constantly told us how professional we are and thanked us for finding ways to fix the issues. We also exchanged numbers with your coordinator so she could work with us in the future as our coordinator, because she was so happy with our service. I apologize if you felt the food was cold and soggy, but it was orange chicken, which is fried chicken with a orange glaze over it and it will become soggy naturally on the buffet line. We did discuss this with you during the tasting and you said it was fine and you wanted the chicken. The food was not cold at all. It stayed in the hot box or on a hot chafer the entire time. Again I apologize that you felt that our service was unsatisfactory, but I think you didn’t take into consideration your guest count, kids meal count, and vendor count were all under by a large amount and you were not charged for them. Again I’m apologize you weren’t happy with our service and I’m very surprised to read this review, considering you were so happy while talking to me at the end of the event, and hugging me, thanking me for finding a way to feed all the guests.

    Worse catering ever

    Elevated Cuisine ruined my wedding. She was late with the decorations, when the venue allowed to decorate the day before the event. The food was served 1 hour late, cold and uncooked. The staff were super rude and unprofessional with my guests. I scheduled a call with Chef Lex to address this issues and she never returned my call. Don't hire Chef alex she promises more than she can deliver.

    Hello,
    I would like to begin with saying we were not late at all for decor setup. Our contract does not guarntee an arrival time, just that it will be set up by the time the service is listed. The set up for the ceremony was ready by 4:51. Before the time agreed. For reasons unknown to me ( due to you not having a coordinator as agreed) your ceremony was delayed until 5:45. The decor was set up before 5pm and before the ceremony and dinners. It is not our responsibility to check of the timeline still going to be on time when there’s not a coordinator. For the first hour I had no idea you did not have a coordinator. You only had a worker from the venue to make sure the venue was clean. They had nothing to do with coordinating. We are caterers, not coordinators and it is essential for us to have a point of contact throughout the event. I had no one to ask questions to. No one from the venue could help me because of your lack of planning and instructions. No one had instructions on where you wanted decor, when you wanted the reception open to guest, where you wanted the stations, where you wanted the stands. We just had to guess, and it was beautiful! 1 day before your event you sent me a screenshot of your timeline with 3 sentences. Our only responsibility to the timeline is the serve things that we agreed to at their designated times. Dinner service couldn’t be complete until almost 10 because of all the interruptions from you very agressive guest. 45 minutes before dinner was scheduled your guests were literally walking in the kitchen demanding plates, and were upset when I said dinner is at 7:45. Countless guests continued to walk in the closed kitchen from that moment until the moment the event ended!! Which caused 2 of my employees to quit from being grabbed by their arms and yelled at by your guest. We were placing the food down when the people weren’t seated as agreed, but then your other guest from other tables that were waiting on Food started removing other peoples plates and eating them which also messed up the count. It also messed up the rest of all the table Orders . So I told the team to stop putting the plates down because the guest kept taking plates that did not belong to them. Several of your guests were not at the table when we were serving ( as required per our contract) and that’s why all the tables had plates but not for every guest. We even had multiple guests who said they didn’t choose the entrée that you said they got and they would push their plates away even when we showed them the list. Two of my Waitstaff quit that night because your guests kept grabbing them cussing at them being very disrespectful. I never experienced anything like that. You had no coodinators or point of contact to inform me of delays or ways to instruct for things we needed. We werent even showed the kitchen we had to find it ourselves. The venue was upset as well and dicussed it with me that you told them as well that you would have a coordinator and you did not. It took all my strength not to cancel and remove my team from the constant harrassment of your guests and the minimal information we were given to work with. We stuck it out for the sake of not ruining your wedding. The food was not cold and we had commercial warmers in the kitchen. The food that did get cold was at the very end when guests wanted meals that arrived after dinner service ended and we had already set up your leftover on a counter for you. You ordered steaks and they were medium and not uncooked!! I have an very kind staff and they are very professional, not once have received a single complaint about them. I missed your call 10 minutes ago and you instantly posted this review. As of now you have had several family members harassing with messages and bad reviews at every avenue. Which further proves my point of excessive agression you showed our staff during your event!
