    Wedding Reception

    Melissa and John were AMAZING! My daughter had her wedding and the whole process was so smooth with them. They were very accomodating and did everything they could to help me. We wanted a high end reception with great food and great Liquor. The food was exceptional and actually exceeded our expectations. Many of our friends commented not only how great the food tasted but also the presentation. Also the appetizers were very good and abundant. No one left hungry.
    We will definitely be using them again.

    Excellent Service

    Elite Events Catering did a fantastic job during my wedding. The food was delicious, the staff was very attentive to every detail in serving guests. Highly recommended.

    Truly the best catering in Tampa Bay!!

    We used Elite Events for our wedding at the Tampa River Center in May and were absolutely blown away by the quality of both the food and service. Even from the tasting, Melissa was so responsive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. Our guests raved about the food and we could not agree more. Everything was incredible, well presented, and so tasty. The shrimp and grits station during cocktail hour was everyone's favorite. Some of the best shrimp and grits! We did a seated dinner and again, the quality of our meals was incomparable to other wedding dinners we have had. We chose the short ribs, mahi mahi, and bone in chicken with the rainbow caesar. We are so pleased with Elite Events and could not imagine our wedding without them!

    Best wedding food and caterer out there!

    I got married April 29, 2023 at Tampa River Center and Elite was my caterer. I have nothing but incredible things to say. We had a cocktail style reception and Melissa worked with me throughout the whole planning process to design the perfect menu based on my vision. The team was professional, easy to work with, and the food was exceptional! If you’re looking for a caterer, please please book Elite!

    Best catering service!! We hired them for our wedding and absolutely LOVED the service, professionalism and OF COURSE the food!! Would highly recommend :)

    Class Act Catering

    I can't say enough about how Melissa, John and Elite Events Catering made our wedding day exactly what we wanted! Melissa was lovely, professional, and eager to share her expertise with us throughout the wedding planning to ensure our vision came true. She was present from our tasting through the day of and was very active in ensuring that all turned out as planned, and coordinated easily with our florist and dessert vendor. The food was high quality and thoroughly enjoyed by our guests (they still mention it). I highly recommend them and am so grateful for their service.

    Just amazing!!

    We hired Elite Catering for our wedding at The Orlo House & Ballroom in March 2023 and only have good things to say! Melissa and John were so personable since we first met them at our food tasting. The food and presentation were delicious, and we felt so confident in hiring them to take care of our wedding and guests after this tasting. Melissa was truly amazing throughout the wedding planning process and was so quick and timely in her responses and accommodating whenever needed. She even handled all our table/linen/chair rentals with Kate and Ryan as they work with them often which made everything so much easier.

    Melissa and John made our wedding dreams become a reality and all our guests were so impressed with the food, presentation of the food and drinks, as well as the specialty drinks their bartenders made, and the cocktail hour. We truly loved working with his company and would highly recommend them to everyone!

    Amazing amazing experience! We love having Elite cater our wedding! After almost six months after our wedding people still talk about the amazing food! We would recommend Elite to any couples!

    Top Notch Catering Service!!

    We selected Elite Events Catering to help us with our Wedding in February, 2023 and they beyond exceeded our expectations. Melissa was so friendly and helpful as we planned our menu and they came up with some really unique items for us that showcased our personal style. It was such a great dinner and our guests are still sending us compliments about it! I'd recommend to anyone looking for a wedding caterer - especially if the food is really important to them.

    Exceptional!!!!

    Elite Events Catering went above and beyond my expectations!!! They catered our wedding in January 2023 and I was very impressed with their service, and the food and options they provided were amazing!!!     Top Notch Catering

    We cannot recommend Elite Events Catering enough! Melissa and her team executed our dream menu for our wedding and our guests are still raving about their incredibly well executed dishes.
    We've been to many weddings and for ours, we wanted to step away from the typical "quantity rarely begets quality" wedding catering experience. It takes a truly gifted chef and manager to turn out entrees in quantity without compromising quality. And Elite Events delivered beyond expectations.

    To say that our reception food was the best food we had at any wedding would still be an understatement. Nothing was amiss, from the freshness of the ingredients, to the complexity of recipes, to the presentation and the service. Not to mention that Melissa was a spectacular partner during the planning process. She understood our vision, followed up without fail and executed to perfection.

    We couldn’t be more proud and happy to have chosen Elite Events as our catering team.

    Amazing job Melissa and everyone at Elite Events!

    We're so grateful we had Elite Events and Catering at our wedding!! We had the most amazing day and your food was delicious! Food was a big priority and they delivered! We got tons of compliments from guests (and we really loved the leftovers you packed us since we didn't get to eat much during the event). When I asked my now sister in law, who attended the tasting with us, what she was most looking forward to about our wedding she said it was the food ;) .

    The Elite Events team was very professional and attentive - we were so happy to see Melissa (the owner) at our wedding! A couple guests noted that staff were so efficient that their drinks got cleaned up before they were able to finish them and I think one of the appetizers (cocktail shrimp) was so popular we had a guest ready to camp out outside your catering room since they were getting snatched up so fast. Also I really appreciate their willingness to work with the composting and all of the logistics (table settings, plate cleaning, cocktail tables) worked out great from what I could tell! To any other brides with a specific vision (and dietary restrictions like guests with allergies, lactose intolerance, etc.) we found Elite Events to be supremely responsive and accommodating! I have to thank you for that from the bottom of my heart that everyone could enjoy their amazing personalized dinner. Also the pricing was competitive and the communication was clear and warm - I knew we were in good hands and I could trust them and not stress about this! 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

    Professional and Passionate

    Melissa and John were so kind and accommodating from the jump! We knew Elite Catering was special the moment we tasted their food. They created delicious Mediterranean and Caribbean dishes for our wedding. Our guests were raving about the cocktail hors d'oeuvres and reception dinner!

    Amazing Food! Great Service!

    We hired Elite Events for our wedding at the Tampa River Center in September 2022 and couldn't be happier! We went to multiple tastings with other vendors. Elite blew us away all their food. Our food was served buffet style and everything was cooked perfectly. All of our guests raved about the food - even our many picky eaters.
    We also used Elite for bartending service who were great as well. The team even whipped up espresso martinis for guest on the spur of the moment!
    Melissa and John went above and beyond in helping us plan our special day. We had one request to have ice cream at our ceremony. Melissa helped us attempt to contract out with our favorite local vendor. Unfortunately, due to some logistical issues with the ice cream vendor, they were unable to provide ice cream for the event. Melissa and John quickly stepped in with an array of options and went above and beyond to make sure the ice cream we wanted was at the wedding.
    We were impressed by Elite Events. They are a must for any catered event. They truly made our day special.

    Amazing Caterer!

    We hired Elite Events for our Tampa wedding and from the very start we knew they were the right fit. Not only did they have the best food of any caterer we tried locally (and we did 4 tastings with others), but they were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout the process. They went out of their way to allow us to create a unique appetizer and Melissa even offered to create our cocktail sign for us so I didn't have to. Our friends also used Elite Events for their wedding catering recently and were impressed.
    Such nice owners and the best catering food for events - I would highly recommend!

    Amazing food, highly recommend!

    Elite was absolutely incredible! I’d recommend them to everyone! The owner, Melissa, was so sweet and helpful. We also had guests comment that it was some of the best food they’ve ever had!

    The best ever!

    Melissa and John are great to work with! They are very detailed oriented and even created a custom appetizer for what we were looking for. The food is delicious and my guests were saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had! So happy we chose them for our big day!

    Supportive with Delicious Food and Great Servers

    Melissa, from Elite Events, is very supportive and flexible to meet our changing needs based on COVID - 19. In the end, Melissa pulled together our wedding providing delicious food and great serving talent. Our assigned server coordinated several of our requests during the reception without exception. Melissa and her team were very helpful.

    Above and beyond

    Elite catering was amazing. They made everything about my special day super easy and helped ease all the stress that comes with planning a wedding. The food was delicious and all the guests loved it.! Super professional staff the day of and great response time from them during the planning stages. Thank you for all your help!

    Above and Beyond Delicious and Delightful!

    Elite Catering Events are simply the best in every way! Melissa and John are the highest tier of human. They took away all the stress and anxiety of wedding planning and replaced it with fun and excitement. I had the best time at my wedding, knowing everything was in its right place and everyone was enjoying themselves.
    All our guests were raving about how great the food was and how magical the venue and reception were! I could not have achieved any of it without Melissa and John's devoted attention and care. They really will change your life for the best! I cannot recommend them enough.

    Melissa and John where such an amazing help for my wedding day, they completely supported my now husband and I by giving us advice when we needed it based on their years of experience and also by creating a wonderful menu throughout the cocktail hour/reception based on things we enjoyed.
    They went above and beyond their duties when issues arose and truly helped make the wedding a memorable experience.

    I would highly recommend working with Elite, as a whole their team of servers also did an amazing job, many of my guests remarked on how polite and consistent the staff was throughout the wedding. The food also went above our expectations and received a lot of praise during and after the wedding as well. My husband and I had our own serve and he was extremely attentive and polite, it really just helped the night run smoothly and feel effortless. Overall I’m very impressed and grateful I had such a great vendor present on my wedding day.
