    Our beautiful, brilliant and beloved Kristin was married to her beautiful, brilliant and beloved Aaron this past month. They are just so perfect for each other that you can use the exact same synonyms for their description. It was a most glorious day. And we have many people to thank; front and center is Betsey Beech, our wedding planner.

    We first met Betsey in a Panera Bread location. Let me give a huge shout out to Panera here as well- they brought in the delicious food that allowed our ginormous wedding party to sustain the many hours of preparation on the day of. If you’re looking for the easiest and best food, call Panera! They did an EXCELLENT job. And Jennifer Tilton, their regional Catering Sales Manager was just SUCH a pleasure.

    Ok, back to Betsey. So here she is, with a comprehensive list of everything we don’t know that we have to do at all with weddings. Betsey was so delightful, comfortable and joyous; it was like meeting the perfect person to walk you down the aisle. In knowing we had a little over a year of planning, our family walked out of Panera knowing we had met someone who would make that year all the richer, anticipating each and every meeting with Betsey. She made the planning process a party with every venue visited. Betsey listened very closely to what Kristin and Aaron wanted in their day, and she was sure that she found just what was desired. And she knew what she was doing! I knew there was walking and flowers and words and things like that, but boy, there is a whole lot of behind the scenes that matters a whole lot, and Betsey had it all together. I had no idea what a party favor bag- I think there’s a specific term- the welcoming bag you have for your wedding guests, left at their hotel bedside. Well, if I can’t come up with the term, you can only imagine how knowledgeable I am in what should be its contents. Betsey created each and every bag for the hundreds of guests, and did it perfectly.     When my now husband (!) and I first decided to get married in my hometown of Dayton, we knew we would need one things above all: a stellar wedding planner. We are both located in Chicago, and know next to nothing about the Dayton wedding market-- and we needed an expert.

    And an expert is just what we got!! Betsey was attentive and dedicated from day 1. We didn't have to worry about anything, really-- she was on top of it. She kept things organized and vendors aligned, bringing us in for decision-making (and showing patience when it might take awhile for us to respond because of travel!). She had so many ideas and was super open to ours. We could only come to Dayton once every few months, and when we did, she would have all of our meetings scheduled and beautifully timed and with all of these absolutely incredible vendors. Nothing felt difficult-- just so very fun!

    The one piece of advice I received from almost everyone was this-- on the day of, just let get go and don't worry about anything. With Betsey and her amazing assistant, we didn't have anything to worry about! Things went so smoothly-- vendors were paid, party was cleaned, and everyone was happy, well fed, well watered, and well danced.

    I'm pretty bummed that we don't have anything else to plan right now with Betsey-- so Betsey, get ready for some future baby shower! THANK YOU so very much for making our day-- our entire year-- just so much fun!!

    Betsey was wonderful!! She was the reason our whole process from beginning to end ran so smoothly. She was so knowledgeable and we truly felt at ease and in great hands! I would highly recommend hiring Elizabeth Anne Events!

    Betsey is the best! She made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process and I knew we were getting the best service with her! She truly cares about her brides and is so helpful during the stressful time of wedding planning! Would recommend her to anyone!

    I just can't say enough about Betsey. I hired her as a day-of-coordinator and I don't know what we would have done without her. She and her assistant made everything run so smoothly and I felt nothing but confidence that they had everything under control. Plus Betsey was on top of all the details weeks before the actual wedding. She finalized everything with our vendors and even got us $150 back from our florist after catching a mistake in the bill! Betsey was always super responsive and willing to offer her expertise on every part of the wedding process. The icing on the (wedding) cake was her very reasonable fee--hundreds less than the other wedding planners in our area. Hire Betsey! You won't regret it.

    I had such a wonderful and carefree experience with Elizabeth Events. My husband proposed a few months before our wedding and we were rushed to get everything selected and booked. Betsey was very accommodating and had great recommendations on vendors, color schemes, and worked to ensure our dollar stretched the furthest. Cannot say enough great things about her and her team. The day-of coordination went off without a hitch. We actually had one mishap where I forgot my make up bag in the hotel room and one of her staff members went back to the hotel to grab it for me to use for pictures after the ceremony. Any questions or worries I had were taken care of immediately and was so glad my mother-in-law strongly suggested to go with a wedding planner for suggestions and day-of coordination.

    Betsey did an awesome job as the day-of coordinator for our wedding! At our first meeting she listened attentively and took detailed notes about the wedding we envisioned. Throughout planning process, she continually brought up great ideas and thoughts to consider and always had suggestions for how to solve problems that came up along the way.
    Having many years of experience in the wedding industry, Betsey was extremely helpful in selecting the best companies and most appropriate vendors to work with. All in all, we contracted with more than 6 vendors and Betsey worked diligently with each of them to confirm and coordinate all aspects of delivery and set up so we did not have to worry about a thing. On the day of, Betsey and her assistant Taylor expertly covered all the bases at the church and reception site.
    My mother and I are extremely detailed oriented and Betsey did an exceptional job making sure all the details were in order on the big day. We could not be more pleased with how everything turned out and have heard rave reviews from those who attended. Many thanks to Betsey and Taylor at Elizabeth Events for executing the wedding of our dreams!

    Hiring Betsey was one of the bests decisions I made while planning my wedding. She knew exactly what she was doing. Not only did she have great suggestions and ideas--but when I needed a deciding vote on something she was very helpful in directing me. Betsey went above and beyond what I expected. She met me at venues, at prime time party rental, and at Panera for general meetings. She guided me through the process with ease. When the big day came I did not have one worry about how the day would proceed from an organizational standpoint (weather was another thing!). She contacted all of my vendors to make sure the day was flawless. Betsey met up with me the Thursday before to make sure the lighting was just right and then in between our ceremony and reception she was working hard to make sure all the details were absolutely perfect, and they were! Money cannot buy the peace of mind she provided me. I am forever grateful for her services!

    We hired Betsey as our Day of Coordinator within the last month before our wedding and she was wonderful! We had an outdoor wedding and she made everything run so well - even with the last minute change from having the wedding ceremony outside to under the tent! She helped us avoid all sorts of issues with her detailed knowledge of weddings! My only wish was that we had hired her sooner in the planning process!!!! Thank you Betsey!

    Our wedding had a lot of DIY components, and we went with a rustic barn sort of feel. My wife wanted to be very hands on and do a lot of the work herself, but when it came to the day of the wedding it was very important to both of us that we were hands off and able to enjoy the day without the little nuances and issues popping up.

    Enter Betsey.

    She was exactly what we were looking for. The groomsmen and myself got to the barn a little early to hang some lights and do some basic setup, but after we left to get ready and start the pictures Betsey and her assistant took care of all the rest of the setup, most importantly the centerpieces. From around 1pm until the end of the night, my wife and I were just able to coast through the day and take in as many memories as possible, Betsey handled the rest.

    She helped coordinate the ceremony; who should be where at what time, and when should they start walking. She talked with all the vendors to make sure they were on the same schedule. She worked with the photographer to make the family pictures part fly by (and we have big italian family on my side!). Our caterer ran out a couple of the primary beers, so she worked with them to get replacements from the store. From our point of view, the day went off without a single noticeable hitch...and that was no doubt a testament to Betsey's services.

    She was very helpful during the wedding planning phase portion as well. As I said my wife was very hands on during all of the planning, so Betsey mostly stood aside and let us run with it. She provided some helpful reminder emails and helped a little with the budget and scheduling parts too. Overall we highly recommend Betsey if you're looking for a great stress shield on the day of your wedding. She offered a great service for a good price, and executed her end flawlessly, what more could you ask for?

    Elizabeth Events was wonderful to work with! I hired Betsey about four months before my wedding and it was the best thing I did! I was able to relax knowing that she was there to help me and coordinate with all of my vendors. She was so helpful throughout everything. The assistant (Taylor) that she brought with her was also wonderful. I would recommend Elizabeth Events to anyone!!

    Betsey helped me with my housewarming party from start to finish the first time we met we established the party budget. From there Betsy did food research and came up with a menu for the party. When it got closer to the party date, Betsey took me shopping for Decor for the party. Days before the party Betsy took me shopping to purchase all the food for the party. The day of the party Betsy and her assistant Paula came and set up for the party. They set up the tables and decorations. Betsey made me glitter pumpkins and she also made mini pumpkins with tea lights inside. Paula did all the food preparation for the party. Moments before the party started Paula put all the finishing touches on the house. She went around lighting candles and displayed all the food and drinks. When the guests arrived Paula offered to take their coats then would offer them a beverage which she would go and get for them. This would allow me more time to talk with my guests. Once the guests had left Betsey helped me clean up from the party. She helped put away the leftover food and made sure all my candles were blown out. Both Betsey and Paula did a phenomenal job which made my housewarming party go off without a hitch. The decorations that Betsey made were fabulous and the food that Paula made was delicious. I would recommend their services to all of my friends! In fact, party guess were asking for their contact information!

    Betsey was absolutely phenomenal! I was very stressed to be planning my wedding from out of town and she was a dream. Her knowledge of and relationships with local vendors were key. Her advice and input were invaluable. She responded quickly to every little email I sent, no matter how silly the topic or concern I was. She treated every inquiry I had as a valid one -- even though looking back, some of them were absurd. :)
    In the final very stressful month leading up to the wedding, she was an amazing support in every way. As stressed as I was, I was never truly worried about a thing because I knew she had it all under control. On the day of my wedding, everything looked exactly as I had envisioned it because she knew me and my vision and was able to make it happen! When a few snafus came up the day of my wedding, (no one's fault), she fixed them and made them disappear.
    I can't say enough how amazing she is. She is a pleasure to know and a pleasure to work with and I 100% highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding! She is the best!

    Can't say enough about Elizabeth Events - top notch all the way! Betsey's knowledge and professionalism were valuable in planning our event. She is well connected with vendors and recommends several so you can interview and make the selection of who will work best with you. She is easy to work with and build a relationship with. She relieves the stress of planning a large important event like a wedding. She is good at attention to detail and suggesting the details you might not think about. Would definitely recommend her for event planning!

    Amazing, flexible, professional. I could not have had my perfect wedding without Betsey!!     I loved working with Betsey of Elizabeth Events to plan my wedding. As I was out of town bride (and dealing with a cross-country move months before the wedding!) I really appreciated Betsey's responsiveness and professionalism in working with my vendors. Betsey had great recommendations for vendors, but was also comfortable trying new things (for example, she hadn't done a wedding at my venue before, but did a great job working with the venue manager). She had some really cool ideas for decor as well.

    On the day of the wedding, everything turned out better than I could have imagined and I truly enjoyed my day. When things came up, Betsey just took care of them. I'm so thankful we had Betsey!!

    Betsey provided us with a worry-free day for our daughter's wedding. Anything that popped up that needed attention, she was there with a solution. We would highly recommend Betsey's services with Elizabeth Events!

    Betsey is a great wedding planner! We selected her silver package and it was great that Betsey gradually stepped in more and more as our wedding got close, which was exactly what we needed. When we began to stress, she took control. She was wonderful in dealing with the vendors and coordinating many different personalities. I would have been way more stressed if it weren't for her. If you want to get married and be able to hand over the reins to someone else and truly enjoy your day, I would hire Betsey!

    Oh, where do I start? I asked Betsey to help me with the last two months of my wedding planning and she immediately dived in and offered to help with everything. She was always quick to respond and never made me feel dumb for asking questions that were probably pretty obvious in retrospect. The biggest thing of all, though, was the day of. My officiant simply didn't show up. Not just a little late; 2 hours later. So, Betsey was able to find someone very quickly and he ended up being absolutely perfect.

    I would highly recommend her services. She essentially saved my wedding day.

    Betsey's services: absolutely amazing!!! I am not even joking either or being 'nice'. From the moment I met her I knew that I made the right choice. I had met with other reputable wedding planners in the area and I just did not feel the same way I did about her. I used her "day of wedding services": best decision I ever made. She kept me on track and was always available for consultation. We met a couple of times before the wedding to go over everything and met a week before the wedding to put all the loose ends together. She also attended our wedding rehearsal and lined everyone up and made sure everyone knew what to do, where to stand, etc. She worked great with all of my wedding vendors and confirmed when they all got to our venue and made sure everything worked out smoothly. She brought a lovely intern with her and they were the perfect pair. The day of the wedding went by without a hitch (literally!) because of her. She did a wonderful job setting up all the tables and putting out the centerpieces and really has a knack for knowing what looks good. I had no worries and had to change nothing with the setup. I cannot thank her enough for everything that she did that day! She stayed till the end and made sure everything was taken care of before leaving. Very professional and a wonderful woman, I would recommend her services to anyone and to any wedding.

    One word…………AMAZING!!!!! For my wedding, we hired Betsey for her “Day of” services (a wedding gift from my sister). Even though she was hired just for her “Day of” services, Betsey unselfishly provided her expert guidance throughout the entire planning process. Betsey meet with us numerous times, answered all of our questions, and responded to e-mails almost always in the same day.

    Betsey ran our rehearsal seamlessly, despite the fact that we had a rowdy 15 person bridal party J On our wedding day, Betsey ensured all of our plans were executed perfectly and was the single point of contact for all of vendors. This allowed us to truly enjoy our wedding, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing because we knew Betsey was there. If something did go wrong, I had no clue. From my perspective, everything went exactly according to plan!

    But what I appreciated most about Betsey’s was her discreteness. She ran the show from behind the scenes and was never in the middle of the party. She let us enjoy our reception with our guests. If she did need to speak with us she would quietly come over and ask if we were ready for certain events (i.e. garter toss, bouquet toss, etc). Even though she was off to the side, she was always easy to find.

    You will not regret hiring Betsey. She is extremely professional and a pleasure to work with!!!!!!!!!!
