    From the beginning when we contacted Elizabeth, she was very prompt and helpful in identifying a wedding planning package that would work for us. We worked with Jen Guiler who helped my husband and I gather our scattered thoughts and plan the dream wedding for us! She helped us identify our venue, create a consistent theme for the reception, and worked with us to talk with our other vendors.

    Leading up to the wedding, Jen helped to confirm our vendors, and picked up all of the items we had prepared for our guests (favors, signs, personal touches, etc). Then the day of the wedding could not have gone any better! Our wedding day events included 3 different locations in DC (where we got ready, our church ceremony, a Chinese tea ceremony, and our reception) and Jen helped guide us and our guests seamlessly through all of them (even handling multiple city events and road closures within DC!).

    Jen Guiler was absolutely fantastic and she truly helped us have a stress free wedding day! Thank you so much Jen!

    We could not have been more pleased with the wedding planning services we received from Elizabeth Duncan. We debated about whether hiring a wedding planner was necessary, but we were so glad that we did. Elizabeth was very helpful before the wedding in working with vendors and helping us plan the timeline. But her greatest value was how she orchestrated the event during the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. She did an amazing job keeping us on schedule, and making sure people were where they needed to be. Because we had so much confidence in her, we were able to relax and enjoy our day leaving everything in her hands. She went above and beyond what we expected. We would 100% recommend her to others.

    Jenn Guiler with Elizabeth Duncan was fantastic! Her checklists were a huge help. She came to all the appointments we asked her to. Picking up the stuff the day before was lovely and knowing she was there to handle any challenges the day of made for it a stress free day.

    I used Elizabeth Duncan events because she was a recommended vendor because of their experience at the venue (NMWA in DC). Elizabeth Duncan Events is not the vendor I would recommend for day-of services because of their lack in organization, attention to detail, and worthless support staff. I was told, paid for, & ordered meals for 3 (1 lead and 2 support staff). I was only provided 1 who did not carry her weight for a 215 person reception. As a result, numerous things occurred at additional costs I assumed. When I followed up with Elizabeth Duncan, she said the reduced support and issues caused didn't "warrant" any type of reimbursement for the $2k they charged which was the highest price on the market. Elizabeth Duncan delivers below average services at high costs. I am more than disappointed with the lack of respect and owning responsibility for their mistakes. In an industry where you don't have to worry about repeat business, customer service was clearly not valued by Elizabeth Duncan Events.
