Just trust Laurie!
We looked for photographers for weeks and weeks, poring over blogs, instagrams, and Weddingwire reviews before we found Laurie with Elle Rose Photo. Just by glancing at her photos, you could tell that her style and taste was impeccable and her photos have that special something that captures all the right moments and emotions. We set up a meeting to meet Laurie in person and fell in love with her immediately. She made GREAT suggestions on our video vendor, photo locations, and set up an amazing timeline for us. Just listen to her, she’s a pro!
Her energy made us laugh and somehow she made taking engagement photos in the rain actually enjoyable and fun! On the wedding day she was on time, professional, and brought a great second photographer. Even though it was a THOUSAND degrees outside and a photo location become unavailable outside of our control, she executed our day flawlessly and left us with photos that we could have only dreamed of. All we can say is to trust Laurie and you will have the most amazing wedding photos!

Hiring Laurie was the first and best decision we made for our wedding! She is delightful to work with both in person and behind the camera throughout the whole wedding process from engagement shoot through wedding day. She is very organized and was always prompt in answering any questions or concerns I may have had with everything from suggestions on vendors, coordinators (Elle Rose Events), photo location and timelines. She made us laugh and made taking the "awkward photos" fun. It rained all day on our wedding day and Laurie kept us calm and lighthearted throughout the whole day. She braved the rain with us and got some amazing shots which turned out to be some of our favorites....Hiring Laurie was the first and best decision we made for our wedding! I was most nervous about a photographer since they are capturing moments you will look back on for the rest of your life. As soon as I met Laurie, I knew I had made a good choice. I have received nothing but the best compliments on our photos and had a really hard time choosing which ones to print for around the house and at my desk. I must have looked at 100 photographers before I found Elle Rose. Once I found Laurie, I stopped looking. I absolutely loved her portfolio. She captures love, emotion and light unlike most other photographers I have seen. I think this is because she is such a warm and lovely person. She is truly a pleasure to work with!
My husband and I were very nervous going into the engagement session. Neither of us is comfortable in front of the camera. Good thing Laurie kept us chatting and laughing to the point that we completely forgot she even had a camera. We absolutely loved our engagement photos.

She has perfectly captured the love and emotion of our day. Laurie has provided us with the most priceless keepsake of the happiest day of our lives.
We cannot recommend Laurie and Elle Rose Photo highly enough. We would give 10 stars if we could! -

Laurie is amazing!!! My fiancé and I had a blast shooting our engagement photos. We could not be happier with our photos - they are classic, fun, beautiful, unique and vibrant. Laurie has the perfect eye for capturing the emotion of special moments. Our engagement photos tell a beautiful story that I cannot wait to show off to generations to come. Laurie (and her second shooter Jessica) were absolutely wonderful to work with on our big day! Laurie even turned bridesmaid on me and helped get my dress buttoned and details on correctly. I had a boudoir session with her that was surprisely comfortable and she somehow (me being naturally goofy and not in the least bit sultry) got killer images! Our engagement photos were stellar as well. I even hired her for corporate photography at my law firm because I know she'll rock it out. Couldn't be happier! when i get engaged, finding the perfect photographer was the #1 priority for me in terms of all the various components to planning a wedding. in fact, it was one of the ONLY things i really cared about! i spent hours and hours and hours searching the internet, trying to find the photographer who i felt would be able to "get" my style and what I hoped for.

I truly can't imagine getting married without Laurie being present. Well her or my groom. She has literally been present at every major stepping stone in my relationship in the past several years.
When my then boyfriend was going to propose he contacted Laurie and together they set up the ultimate surprise proposal, completely captured by Laurie. Because of her keen eye and discreet ability, I will forever have that amazing time captured in beautiful photos.
For our engagement Laurie was so patient with us, she made us feel entirely comfortable, and even my husband had a blast. We took photos on my husband's grandfather's property and when Grandpa came out, Laurie was happy to...I truly can't imagine getting married without Laurie being present. Well her or my groom. She has literally been present at every major stepping stone in my relationship in the past several years.

I am still hearing from friends and family about the talented photographer we were blessed to have.
Laurie is the kind of person who you meet and instantly click with. In fact, my maid of honor jokes that her Mom is now obsessed with Laurie. My bridesmaids all loved her too and I have no doubt that because of her amazing talent that was candidly seen by so many, she will receive many more wedding inquiries.
I truly can't wait for our next photography opportunity with Laurie and know that she will continue to be a staple in life's biggest moments for our family. -

From the moment we decided to use them, Laurie made herself available for questions and to ease our minds whenever needed - even outside of the typical business hours. On the big day she came in and began shooting and we didn't even know she was there! She and her second shooter are so professional and so unobtrusive, but at the same time fun and outgoing. Our families and entire wedding party loved them and are still talking about Elle Rose Photography! We recently got our pictures back and we were speechless. I literally could not have asked anything more in a photographer for my wedding. I was a tough bride for any photographer, in that I didn't want a lot of posed pictures. Laurie did an excellent job of getting just the right amount of posed pictures, as well as candid. She listened to everything that I wanted and gave me exactly that. She was warm and friendly. I thought of her not as the photographer at my wedding, but more like another friend who happened to be taking pictures at the wedding. I have nothing but amazing things to say about her and wish that I could go on and on. My fiance and I could not have been more thrilled with Laurie, and the outcome/quality of our engagement shoot! She truly has an eye for awesome and unique shots. But I think the most important part, and what I have been telling all my friends, was how much FUN we had. It's so easy to be happy, and look happy, in photos when you're genuinely having fun. Sometimes she gave us specific direction, sometimes she let us do our own thing, and we have a lovely mix of candids and posed shots.
