  The best! So talented, and really listens to her clients

  Ellen was wonderful! She is so sweet, and was really pleasant to spend my bridal morning with. She did hair/make-up for me, my mom, and my sister. I don’t wear make-up on a daily basis, so I knew I wanted my make-up to be pretty light and natural (for me, that meant no false eyelashes or heavy lip products); Ellen really listened to that, and she made me feel like the best version of myself, but with a light hand, so I didn’t feel like I was wearing too much make-up. The same is true for my mom and my sister. And my hair! I have pretty thin/fine hair, and I didn’t want extensions – so how Ellen gave me the fullest chignon is beyond me, but I was in love with it! I did not want to take it down, or take my make-up off, at the end of the night. I wish I could hire her to do my hair/make-up every day!

  Ellen is the most professional, delightful and talented hair + makeup artist I've had the pleasure to work with. I've never felt more beautiful and most importantly, more like myself after she was finished. She listened to what I wanted and how I felt and also had so many ideas to share. She made me feel comfortable and confident and I would recommend her ten times over!

  Ellen was amazing! From my trial to the day of, she was so responsive and rolled with all of the times I changed my mind or counts changed. Most importantly, she made me look like a really enhanced version of MYSELF, which is exactly what I wanted and had a hard time finding. She does not pile on the makeup and make you look heavy and overdone like a lot of MUAs in the industry. On top of it all, she's a really cool and nice person! I was happy to spend time with her and chat on my big day. I would reccomend her highly if you're looking for a step above the typical look. She is the best!

  Ellen was attentive, professional, and worked with me to give me the exact look I wanted for my special day. She did a great job communicating with me before the wedding and on the actual day. My mom, sister, sister in law, and best friend were all ecstatic with Ellen’s work. She listened to each of us and gave us exactly what we were looking for! I’ve already recommended her to another friend. Ellen is the perfect match for anyone looking for a top notch, quick, hassle free experience!

I am so confident in her work that I wouldn’t even feel the need to check a mirror before heading out (other than to admire her wonderful work).   Ellen did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and from start to finish she was a dream to work with! I was really scared of getting my makeup done, because every time I've had it done professionally in the past, it looked so over-the-top. Ellen created the perfect natural bridal look, and I felt like myself but a glowier, prettier version! She also did my mom's makeup, and she said she'd never felt better. Ellen also did my flower girls' hair - she gave them cute braids, helped secure their flower crowns, and made them feel like princesses! I'm looking for excuses to get my makeup done again soon...

  I could not have asked for a better experience than what I had with Ellen Guhin. She was absolutely amazing. Ellen has the ability to keep you relaxed and at ease all while making you look absolutely fantastic. I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. I gave Ellen a few ideas of things I liked and she produced the most brilliant braided hairstyle and natural looking makeup I could have ever imagined.   Ellen was absolutely fabulous to work with during my wedding. She did my hair and make-up for my engagement photos, rehearsal dinner and wedding - I loved her work so much I kept booking her for more events! I never wear make-up but would happily be styled by her every day of the week. She is the only bridal make-up / hair artist I've ever seen who perfectly executes an effortless and natural look. My wedding was 18 months ago and I continue to get requests from friends and friends of friends (who weren't even at my wedding) for Ellen's contact info because she makes you look like the best version of yourself. She also did the make-up for a few of my family and friends; they were all skeptical because bridal make-up is usually incredibly tacky, but everyone loved their make-up and have used Ellen since the wedding. I will continue to work with Ellen whenever I need to get dressed up (or not!).
  
  On top of that, she is incredibly professional, easy to work with and worth every penny you spend...which is ironic because she is much more affordable than the traditional bridal hair/make-up studios but does a much better job!

Literally, not one mascara smudge under my eyes after sweating through 2 hours of pictures. She arrived on time and stayed on track with my large bridal party, yet was laid back and enjoyed the morning with us. My makeup was more dramatic and some bridesmaids went more subtle--but she could do it all! Very happy she was a part of my wedding day.

  Ellen Guhin Bridal was such a memorable part of my wedding day – from her talent, creative vision, to professionalism and flexibility – Ellen was top notch. She was incredibly accommodating and even traveled in for my event. On the day of the wedding she was on time, calm, and extremely pleasant to work with. It is clear that she’s a long-time professional and passionate about the business. I was amazed at how Ellen was able to take my vision for hair/makeup and turn it into a reality. It came out even better than I had imagined. My hair/makeup remained flawless for the entire day and the photos came out beautiful.   I could not be happier with Ellen as my makeup artist for my wedding!! She was patient, knowledgeable, and affordable. I would definitely set up a trial if you are not sure about your makeup artist. Her extended knowledge of the latest trends, makeup/photo reaction, and humor during the morning of the most amazing day of your life is worth a call!!!

  I highly recommend Ellen! She is truly so talented and does such an amazing job. She listens to what you want and works diligently to make sure you are happy. She made me feel like the most beautiful bride! I look back on my pictures of my wedding day and couldn't be happier. Ellen played a huge part in that!

  Met with Ellen twice before my wedding day. She was so responsive and I could not have asked for a more talented, friendly, fun, and professional artist to work with. All members of my bridal party who worked with her (bridesmaids, mother of the bride, myself) were beyond satisfied. Could not recommend highly enough!

  Awesome Hair AND Makeup!!!

  Our wedding coordinator highly recommended Ellen, and I’m SO HAPPY I went with her. It was so convenient to have someone who could do makeup AND hair equally well. She is such a pro and gave me exactly the look I wanted. She patiently did two trials with me at my home and travels with everything you could possibly want. She can do any look (we tried a bunch!). In the end, I wanted a natural, classic look and the way she did my hair and makeup looked awesome in person AND in the photos. It’s a fine balance, which she knew exactly how to achieve.
