  The Absolute Best

  My (now) husband and I hired Emily as the photographer for our wedding at the Cavalier Hotel in March 2024, which was nothing short of the BEST decision we made during the wedding planning process. From our initial meeting which felt like catching up with old friends to attending our wedding walk-through, Emily was incredibly communicative and open to our ideas. We appreciate how she regularly answered all of our questions and was thorough with her photography questionnaire. I had the privilege of doing a bridal portrait session with her two weeks before our wedding, and during that session I knew we had made the right choice. Emily made me feel at ease in front of the camera and had the photos back to me within 48 hours! On our wedding day, Emily and her team arrived ahead of schedule and were able to get photos of every single moment. Our families were impressed with how efficiently she was able to get through family pictures so that we could have a chance to enjoy our own cocktail hour. We were especially impressed that she had our sneak peeks back to us within 48 hours, and our whole collection was available in just a little over a week. I am so happy the Cavalier recommended her to us - she was simply fantastic!

  Excellent Wedding Photographer!

  Emily and Justin (Gibby Visuals) were an absolute dream to work with throughout the wedding process. They work together seamlessly, and we love our engagement and wedding media. On the day we chose for our engagement pictures, it was so windy, but they both took it in stride, and we have amazing memories, photos and a video from the engagement session. Words can't describe how much we love our wedding photos and video. They captured everything about the day - we never imagined our photos and videos could look so beautiful. Emily is a must hire - we can't wait to use her for future family photo sessions!

  Exactly what we were looking for

  I just loved working with Emily. She is joyful and easy going. Amazing pictures. Amazing ideas. She even climbed the bell tower at the Cavalier to get some of our favorite shots. We could not have made a better choice.

  A Day To Remember

  Let me just start out with a HUGE “thank you” to Emily and her Husband Justin for making my day one to remember. They are so much fun and so full of smiles, we shared many laughs. They were also able to help me manage the hectic requests of each family member wanting their own photos with phones (even though I was against it) because I hired them for the quality photos not for my family to spam social media with their cellphone photos lol. But they didn’t hesitate to make sure everyone was pleased which I am grateful for. I was also sent two photos that very night which was just absolutely amazing to have a sneak pick of more to come. I highly HIGHLY recommend hiring both Emily and Justin for their photo and video package for your wedding. I will say I used Emily prior for a previous wedding and wished everyday after that I had included video. So this time I made sure that I had both of them there to make our day one we will have endless amounts of photos and video memories of.   Exceptional service, gorgeous photos!

  I could not be happier with my experience with Emily Gibby Photography. I would recommend her 100%. From the beginning, communicating with her was so simple. She responded within 12 hours when I contacted her for a quote, and any time I had a question, she got back to me very quickly. The price she quoted was extremely reasonable for our temple wedding and reception. Her package also offered a complimentary engagement session, which we ultimately did not take advantage of, but she was willing to travel to accommodate us and our schedule.
  Emily asked a lot of questions before the wedding to make sure she understood what we wanted from our photographs. She made sure she knew the events and, most importantly, the people we wanted to capture on our day. On the day of the wedding, this made taking family and friend portraits a smooth and easy process.
  Emily is friendly, warm, and professional, and she has a gift for making people feel comfortable. The photo session she did with my husband and I was simple and fun. My husband is always anxious about getting his photo taken, but Emily put him at ease, and we got some great shots of him with his real smile (which is extremely hard to capture!). I was surprised on the day of the wedding that she brought a second photographer, doubling the number of great photos we got. The staged and posed photos she took of us were fantastic, but she also captured some great candid moments of our family and friends that really reflected the feeling of the day.
  The pictures came back sooner than we expected—with so many more than we expected—and they were absolutely gorgeous. I am so happy we had her there to capture our wedding day.

  Talented and personable

  Emily made us feel so comfortable from the first time we met her for our engagement photo session. Emily and her husband Justin (Gibby Visuals - video) came with us to our destination wedding in the Bahamas last month. They were incredible. Emily captured so many unique moments and did so in a way that was comfortable, yet professional. While we were there Emily and Justin both fit in with our friends and family so well, but also remained focused on their work. Our family and friends commented on how wonderful they were "as people." Emily captured the little details, and precious moments that we will cherish forever. To be honest, my wedding day was a bit of blur, there's so much going on. I'm so grateful to have the pictures to remind me of the wonderful time we had celebrating with family and friends. Our wedding was Emily's first time shooting a Greek Orthodox church ceremony. She did great! She not only captured the highlights of the ceremony, but she also took time to take pictures of the church itself and all of it's charm.

  On the wedding day Emily was professional and fun! She blended right in, getting the shot without being intrusive. During family photos she was so efficient, getting them all done (beautifully) in about 20min. My day of coordinator had nothing but nice things to say about how flexible and easy to work with Emily was.

  Best choice ever!

  Emily was amazing to work with. She was professional, efficient, and most importantly produced the most wonderful photos of my wedding. She gave me exactly what I had hoped for and was easily the best choice of my wedding (except the groom, of course!). I can't recommend her highly enough!

  We did our engagement photos with Emily and had a wonderful time. Emily made us both feel relaxed and we laughed a lot during the session. It was such a positive experience. Emily was with me every step of the way to keep me on track as my husband was on deployment. She sent me a checklist of where we both needed to be with the time frame. When my family was acting crazy she was VERY flexible with putting them together. Most importantly when the unthinkable happened and my florist didn't show, Emily dropped her camera and helped my family spring into action to make our dream come true. Even after our big day we got our photos back very quickly, they were separated by events which made it easier to go through. I know this review is long but that's the just it, Emily is that amazing at what she does and her personality is to die for.   Emily was a complete joy to have as our photographer!!! She was SO friendly, very professional, and completely open to any suggestions or questions that we had. Her communication was fantastic, and she even helped me find a lady to help me with flowers for the wedding when we were having issues. Literally all of my family and bridal party told me after the wedding how much they loved her! She’s the best!

  Emily started as a photographer at my sons's wedding and has become a friend. There were many small children at the wedding and she posed them quickly and got smiles out of them. Made the bride look beautiful. Have already hired her for my daughter's wedding.

Emily was so flexible with scheduling engagement pictures around our busy schedules and they were absolutely stunning. Our wedding day was even better. Emily conquered our large family at the Washington DC Temple and all of our extended families have not stopped praising her for her organization with family photos. She makes everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and gets all of the kids attention! Her attention to detail and capturing the candid moments are what I love best about our pictures.   Emily is an amazing photographer! My husband and I felt so comfortable having our pictures taking and we had a lot of fun as well. She was able to capture those little real moments between my husband and I on our special day. I will definitely use Emily as our photographer for future events. :)

  Emily, from elovephotos, was an exceptional photographer! Not only is she talented beyond her years, but she is also so genuinely easy to work with. I felt like I was working with a close friend, rather than just my photographer. In addition, her prices and packages are 100% reasonable (and realistic). For example, she gives you ALL of your photos, rather than a limit depending on the package you choose. She is a perfect mix of quality and quantity!   Being an ex-pro photographer myself I was VERY picky when looking for a photographer to shoot my own wedding, however I'm so glad I finally found Emily! She created a package around our budget and she was very flexible and accommodating with my requirements and above all listened to what we wanted. Emily was very easy to talk to throughout the process, she was very quick to respond and also provided multiple methods of contact.
  
  On our wedding day Emily showed she was a pro. She carefully placed everyone for the family portraits and knew exactly what to do get the kids steady enough to capture great shots. She was extremely polite and very creative in using our venue to make sure she achieved everything we were looking for.
  
  After the wedding again Emily was very easy to contact and kept in touch throughout the long process of editing thousands of pictures. She sent us an awesome gift box containing a very special, customized USB drive that contained all of the full resolution shots of our wedding. Even after she had provided everything she sent us an extra special gift that was completely unexpected but blew us away.
  
  At the end of the day Emily was loved by our friends and family and we now consider her a friend. We cant recommend her enough..

The short amount of time we spent with them during photo shoots leading up to the wedding, was the first time we were able to forget the stress of the wedding and just enjoy the moment and they created that environment for us. That carried over to the wedding, they not only captured every incredible moment of our wedding they helped create those moments. Emily and Justin are more that just photo and video artists, we were blessed to have them on our big day, and our only wish is that we wish we could have spent more time with them.
