  the best wedding planner ever!

  After two minutes of our introductory phone call, there was no doubt that Sarah was the real deal and we needed to work with her. Sarah is the total package - she is beyond thoughtful, organized, a great friend, professional, fun, detail oriented, creative, the list goes on. I feel SO blessed to have gotten to work with her.
  
  For over a year, she remained in contact with me and made sure I was at ease. She made it a point to take ALL of my stress away. The wedding process was beyond fun, all because of her. I always looked forward to our meetings and catch ups and was always impressed at what she remembered or what she came up with. She was never afraid to throw an idea my way (which I always loved) and constantly was updating our ‘folder’ of goodies.
  
  Our wedding weekend was UNREAL. It was a weekend of events, all executed perfectly by Sarah + her team. She was so comfortable and we knew we had no reason to stress or worry. She brought our vision to life. We are still getting compliments about details of our weekend, 5 months later! We are beyond thankful!
  
  Is a one year vow renewal too soon??? I need an excuse to have Sarah plan for us again. We miss you Sarah!!!! Thank you x a million. You are meant for this career!!!

  Excellent experience as an MOB

  My daughter and her fiancé are the ultimate control-freaks (in a good way) and so I can say I worked with Embark as a lead client, but I have to say every time I was involved, the experience was excellent. I met Sarah at the furniture rental shop in San Francisco where she had flown in to help us big rentals for the wedding. She was calm, had done her homework, and really helped us look at multiple options. She had 4 people to handle - the bride, groom, MOB and MOG. I, of course, tried to be flexible and helpful...;) but that's a lot of opinions to handle. I also worked with Sarah on the phone when the bride wanted my input or wanted me involved in various decisions. Again, I felt she was always calm, collected and flexible - willing to do whatever the bride and groom desired. She is very knowledgeable about vendors, set up, take down, alternatives and the like. Finally - the wedding weekend. Of course, there were plenty of snafus that were totally out of Embark's control, but they handled them very, very well and everything went off without a hitch for the most part. When a mistake was made, it was handled with aplomb. No one wants a jumpy, annoying wedding planner crew during their weekend of events...I found Embark to be the complete opposite. I would highly recommend them.

  Book Sarah ASAP!

  Working with Sarah was the most enjoyable part of wedding planning hands down. Everyone says how important it is to book a wedding planner and we feel like we won the lottery being able to work with Sarah and her incredible team. From the moment we started working with her (a little over a year before our wedding), we knew we were in great hands. We were looking for a modern, timeless and fun vibe and while decision making is not a great skill of mine, she knew exactly what we were looking for and executed flawlessly.
  
  From mood boards to nailing the smallest details, she was never stressed (or at least never showed it) and was so calm and confident throughout the whole process. I looked forward to every planning call we had together and she could not have been more patient with me when I would have endless questions on literally everything. I have never met someone more professional and detail-oriented, which is everything you could ask for in a wedding planner.
  
  During the actual wedding weekend, Sarah and her team were so incredibly prepared. There was not a single detail that Sarah missed and every guest of ours commented on how seamless the whole weekend felt and that not a single thing went wrong. That is 100% thanks to Sarah and her team - I can't imagine what we would've done without them! Thank you thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!

  Fairytale wedding dream come true!

  I had the best wedding I could have ever hoped for. I could not have done it without the Embark Event Design team. Sarah was always on top of every meeting and I never felt stressed out. The day of the wedding was extremely stress free. I never felt like I needed to get involved because the team was so professional and on top of everything. I had so many people come up to me and tell me how amazing my team of planners were. Huge thank you to Whitney for making all of this happen! She was a serious rockstar the entire wedding weekend and let me completely relax and just enjoy every moment.

  A beyond perfect experience!

  I couldn't be happier with our decision to work with Sarah and her team for my wedding. It was the absolute best money spent, and they went above and beyond for us in every way possible to make our dream wedding come to life. Sarah and Whitney had a special way of making us feel like my Husband and I were their only clients, and I developed such a strong friendship with them! Not to mention, they have the best memory! Even small details discussed in passing months ago... they don't forget and never missed a beat! They have the best relationships with vendors (which helps tremendously!), and the professionalism is unmatched. Sarah's ability to stay calm and focused helped me feel at ease throughout our 12+ months of planning. Even on the day of, the planning team was prepared with absolutely everything. Not one thing went wrong... they even safety pins to help with my broken bustle! I could go on and on about the value and beauty they added to my wedding experience, and I can't wait to hire Embark Events Designs for future events that I hope to plan soon!

  Best money we spent

  If you've been holding off on hiring a wedding planner, I highly recommend spending the money and hiring Sarah and her amazing team!! They were so helpful throughout our entire planning process and made sure our day was absolutely perfect! We had so many guests come up to us saying it was one of the best weddings that they'd been too and I really do think it was all because of Embark Event Design (specifically Whitney on our wedding day!)... I couldn't recommend them enough, I felt like I didn't lift a finger on my wedding day and was able to enjoy every moment of it because of them! Also, DETAILS! They are so good at helping design your dream wedding within your budget. They are responsive and on top of things - I really was never stressed planning my wedding and had so much fun during the process because of them! Hire Sarah and her team, you won't be disappointed!

They brought all of my visions to life and I literally can't imagine my wedding without them. They're amazing designers, but also exceptional planners. Everything went on without a hitch and I miss them already. If you're looking for a planner, I can't recommend them enough. They're one of the best you'll find on the Central Coast.

  Sarah & her team were rockstars. Coming from the groom side of things I can't even imagine not having them a part of our wedding.
  
  My wife was extremely calm the entire wedding planning (even wtih a postponement for COVID) and I can attribute a lot of that to Sarah. We never felt overwhelmed and Sarah and her team ended up saving us money on a few vendors which made their cost more than worth it.
  
  Day of, Sarah helped everything go off without a hitch. She especially nailed the giving the groom and bride drinks and food throughout the day and bonus points for having a drink ready for us as we headed out to the afterparty.
  
  Overall, I'm going to definitely recommend Sarah to any of my friends/family that get married which should be a testament to how much we enjoyed working with them :)

  Dream Team!

  MY DREAM TEAM! Sarah and Whitney, the most detailed human beings on the planet, made our wedding day the most perfect day ever. Everything went so seamless and we were able to truly enjoy ourselves that day vs. worry about a hiccup. We just knew they would be on top of things and proactive about any minor error that came their way without us ever knowing, and if there was a minor error, we til this day still don't know! My favorite thing about them is how personable and caring they are. I truly felt like they were my best pals during the planning and I love how they care about you and your big day. Another thing I appreciated were their quick responses and transparency. Any time I had a question or a thought, I almost immediately received a response back from them. Their detail to design is top notch. Every decor piece at our wedding was to a T exactly what I imagined, so it's true to say they really listen to you and your needs and thoughts.

  Incredible Design | Professional | Meticulous | Dependenable

  Sarah & team were a privilege to work with! We loved the design process: Sarah took the time to get to know our style preferences and personalities and was able to create the perfect setting. Our guests commented how "magical" the venue felt - and that was all due to Sarah.
  
  She also guided us to the best vendors in the area. We wouldn't have been happier with how our day came together!

  Amazing Wedding Planner

  Sarah is one of the best wedding planners on the Central Coast. She is extremely talented in the planning and execution of special events. She is professional, reliable, friendly, and overall one of our favorite to work with. She has planned many weddings at our venue leaving our clients over the moon. We always look forward to having Sarah and her team back.

  Truly could not have asked for a more incredible wedding planner!

  Hiring Sarah was the best decision we could have made. She was so engaging and excited about helping us plan our wedding from day one and that enthusiasm and excitement continued throughout the 16 months we worked with her. She went above and beyond in helping us plan our wedding, she even helped pick out my bridesmaid’s dresses. She is incredibly organized, creative, talented, professional, confident and has an amazing eye for design and detail. She was so helpful with keeping us on track and making sure we made decisions & completed tasks on time. I am a very indecisive person and take far too long to make decisions and she is the opposite – she is decisive and knows what will work best for your overall vision which helped me so much.
  
  Our wedding was truly the best, most magical and happiest day of our lives. Sarah took the vision we had for our wedding weekend and made it far more beautiful than we could have ever imagined.
  
  My husband and I will forever be grateful to Sarah and her team at Embark Event Design. We were prepared for something to go wrong during our wedding weekend, but everything went off without a hitch. From the rehearsal dinner and welcome party on Friday to our wedding on Saturday, there wasn’t a single thing that went wrong. We have Sarah and her team to thank for this.
  
  Sarah also helped us build the ultimate vendor team. We could not have asked for a better team of vendors and our bridal party still talks about how much they loved our wedding planner, videographer, photographer, caterer, etc. So much so that one of my bridesmaids is now using Sarah for her wedding!

  Hiring Sarah was the best decision we could have made. She was so engaging and excited about helping us plan our wedding from day one and that enthusiasm and excitement continued throughout the 16 months we worked with her. She went above and beyond in helping us plan our wedding, she even helped pick out my bridesmaid’s dresses. She is incredibly organized, creative, talented, professional, confident and has an amazing eye for design and detail. She was so helpful with keeping us on track and making sure we made decisions & completed tasks on time. I am a very indecisive person and take far too long to make decisions and she is the opposite – she is decisive and knows what will work best for your overall vision which helped me so much.
  
  Our wedding was truly the best, most magical and happiest day of our lives. Sarah took the vision we had for our wedding weekend and made it far more beautiful than we could have ever imagined.
  
  My husband and I will forever be grateful to Sarah and her team at Embark Event Design. We were prepared for something to go wrong during our wedding weekend, but everything went off without a hitch. From the rehearsal dinner and welcome party on Friday to our wedding on Saturday, there wasn’t a single thing that went wrong. We have Sarah and her team to thank for this.

  Look no further for an event team!

  I can't rave enough about working with Sarah, Whitney and the rest of the Embark Event Design team! There are an infinite number of details that go into planning a wedding and if there is one thing I would invest in over and over again, it's a wedding coordination/design team - especially this one. I wanted to go into my wedding day without having to worry about a thing and the day went off without a hitch. Not only was the entire wedding weekend extremely organized and well thought out but Sarah helped bring my vision to life. There was no detail overlooked. They helped me accomodate a table switch 5 minutes before our ceremony, last minute detail changes the week of, and handed me a drink immediately after the ceremony! Sarah and Whitney were not only trusted wedding confidantes but truly took the time to get to know me and have become good friends. Lastly, I'll mention when doing initial phone calls with other wedding coordinators in the area, a lot of them made me feel like the budget I was working with wasn't good enough and that was a huge red flag. Embark is not only reasonably priced themselves, but they also respect budgets of all sizes which was really important to me. If you're looking for an incredible coordination team then look no further!

  The sweetest team who work magic on wedding day!

  Embark Event Design was on a short list of wedding planners approved by our venue, but Sarah was the first and last call we made. From our initial conversation, Sarah was the absolute sweetest and had sincere interest in who we were as a couple and what we envisioned for our wedding day. Planning a wedding during the pandemic came with a lot of challenges, the most difficult being that we were unable to meet with our friends and family and share exciting updates or ask for suggestions throughout the process. The monthly meetings with Sarah and having the ability to shoot her a text when I was losing my mind over online bridesmaid dress shopping were an absolute godsend. When I wasn't able to have my mom or friends join me for wedding dress shopping, Sarah cleared up her afternoon and spent the afternoon helping me find my dress and being the phone holder for several Facetime sessions sharing the news. All this to say, she went above and beyond for us and was a great friend to a bride in need.
  On wedding day, Sarah and her team of dream-making beauties were invisible magicians leaving my groom and I without anything to worry about except fully taking in the day. They checked in when they needed to and took the lead when we needed guidance, all while bringing our vision to life behind the scenes.
  I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Sarah, Whitney and the rest of the Embark Event Design team. If you are a Type A bride who once believed you could do this whole wedding thing on your own, Sarah is the perfect fit for you. Her connection to local vendors, access to super fun planning resources and ability to provide options at multiple price points was a gamechanger for us.   Ruined our wedding day

  We used Sarah for my daughters wedding and it was horrible experience. Sarah doesn’t care about her brides and she should not be a wedding coordinator where her actions have the ability to ruin a brides big day, this is my opinion. My daughters wedding was rescheduled 2 times during Covid. Then finally when things opened up in April in Paso Robles area we were so excited to be able continue my daughters wedding. Three weeks before the wedding Sarah informed us she wasn’t comfortable going forward, which left us in shambles . My daughter is a doctor and knows how to be safe and we had plenty of guidelines in place to protect all who attended. Sarah did not keep in touch with us or inform us of the guidelines during the process. We learned of the changes from Lauren at our wedding venue. Sarah had an entire year to tell us she wasn’t going to be comfortable going forward, why wait until three weeks prior to the big day. We were both so disheartened and astonished by Sarah’s actions. We wondered how can a wedding coordinator whose role could enhance or ruin the most important day in a young girls life could be on the hands of someone so heartless, thoughtless, unprofessional and unorganized. Someone like this should not be on this industry, this is my opinion. We are so disappointed in the service we received from Sarah, this is something we will never forget.

My daughters wedding was rescheduled 2 times during Covid. Then finally when things opened up in April in Paso Robles area we were so excited to be able continue my daughters wedding. Three weeks before the wedding Sarah informed us she wasn’t comfortable going forward, which left us in shambles . My daughter is a doctor and knows how to be safe and we had plenty of guidelines in place to protect all who attended. Sarah did not keep in touch with us or inform us of the guidelines during the process. We learned of the changes from Lauren at our wedding venue. Sarah had an entire year to tell us she wasn’t going to be comfortable going forward, why wait until three weeks prior to the big day. We were both so disheartened and astonished by Sarah’s actions. We wondered how can a wedding coordinator whose role could enhance or ruin the most important day in a young girls life could be on the hands of someone so heartless, thoughtless, unprofessional and unorganized. Someone like this should not be on this industry, this is my opinion. We are so disappointed in the service we received from Sarah, this is something we will never forget.

  We are sorry to hear you had a negative experience. Below are the ways that Embark Event Design informed clients of local health and safety mandates along the way:
  
  Seasonal check in emails to all clients with current health mandates, updates on guidelines as they changed, inform clients that Embark Event Design would be following all health and safety mandates. At the time, masks were required for all guests not vaccinated & this client failed to acknowledge and oblige. Embark Event Design then gave the client the option to cancel the contract. Charlene then canceled this contract and was refunded her money less the retainer payment.
  
  Embark Event Design was very thorough in keeping in touch with all clients regarding local health and safety mandates. Unfortunately this client decided not to follow the mandates which proved that they were no longer a good fit for Embark Event Design.
