Five years later, friends and family are still complimenting us on our wedding! Having both the ceremony (in the atrium) and reception (in the ballroom) in one place, made our wedding guests feel at ease knowing that they didn't need to worry about transportation from our ceremony to our reception. The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous, thanks to Prestige Wedding Decor https://www.prestigeweddecor.com/ The lighting in the atrium, along with the decor provided by Prestige, made for the most beautiful photographs and videography.
Having our wedding at Embassy Suites was like having a built in wedding planner. We didn't need to think about transportation (because it was all in one place...and photographs in the atrium were amazing), food was provided by the hotel (you choose your meal plan options), the cake (amazing...we did a cake tasting at the hotel and provided a photograph of what we wanted our cake to look like), and centerpieces were all provided by the hotel. Again, we hired Prestige Wedding Decor to amp up the atrium and ballroom, but with this venue that certainly isn't necessary. The food was delicious. We had chicken breast, vegetables, and salad which were very tasty. However, I've just recently attended a wedding in this same location where I was served filet...which was probably the best filet I've ever eaten!
You cannot go wrong with Embassy Suites! Our room as well as our parent's hotel room was included in our package. I highly recommend Embassy Suites! Check it out, you won't be disappointed! We are so happy with our wedding reception at the Embassy Suites O’Hare! We worked with Audrey in the catering department. Throughout the whole planning process, Audrey was easy to work with, always very responsive and organized. She kept everything right on track and the night of the party went SO smoothly! We thought the cost was very reasonable for what we got, too.We are so happy with our wedding reception at the Embassy Suites O’Hare! We worked with Audrey in the catering department. I really enjoyed my reception at this Embassy Suites. My recpeption was beautiful, and I received so many compliments on it. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and professional. The catering director, Danielle, was absolutely sweet, friendly, knowledgeble and accommadating. Everything was as I wanted it (placement of flavors and other misc. items). I thought the price was very reasonable, and you get your money's worth. My only complaint was that they did not package up the meals for the no-shows (about 8 meals). We didn't think about it until the day, when it was too last to ask.I really enjoyed my reception at this Embassy Suites. My recpeption was beautiful, and I received so many compliments on it. Brides beware. I'm writing this review because I could not believe how myself, my husband and other people in my wedding were treated by the catering manager at the Embassy. First, my bridal party was so disrespected and talked to very rudley by the catering manager. These are the people who matter the most to both myself and my husband and were our biggest helpers so for them to be insulted for no reason was awful. And it turns out that a big reason for the awful behavior on the part of the catering manager was because she wanted to start the bridal party walk in WITHOUT myself and my husband (THE BRIDE & GROOM). At the time my husband and I were in the hall waiting for the last couple of guests to enter, and it was still very early (we weren't behind schedule). But I guess the catering manager just started yelling about needing to get going and when the best man asked her to CALM down and he plainly stated no one would be starting with the bride and groom, the catering manager said something not nice to him and one of the groomsmen that I won't be repeating. She than for some reason starting yelling at the ushers, who were just standing there. The catering manager really did do her best to try and ruin the reception for everyone there. I even had guests who heard her and asked what the deal was. Just very unprofessional and rude on her part. Everything else was just alright, but alright shouldn't cut it on your wedding day.
