The Embassy Suites Rivercenter is the PERFECT place to get married in the Cincinnati area. We chose to have the ceremony & reception at the same spot, and Embassy knocked the whole event right out of the park!
LOCATION- The city skyline background for a ceremony is 2nd to none; truly breathtaking. Natalie (the best Wedding Catering&Sales Manager to ever live!) and her team had everything set up to perfection for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, dance & firework show thereafter. Yes, fireworks! Book a Reds firework Friday and you'll have the most magnificent backdrop for after dinner photos! The location is also perfect for out of town guests to explore the city easily.
FOOD & DRINK -**Please note the food and beverage minimum is before the 23% food&beverage service charge, so just be careful to not get surprised there. Otherwise, the food and bar were AMAZING. We selected seated dinner and guests chose from Stuffed Gouda & Prosciutto Chicken (AMAZING), Maple & Bourbon Butter Salmon (AMAZING) or the Vegan/Gluten Free option (didn't try it myself). The Spinach Salad starter was also fabulous and the Italian Wedding Soup was the best I've ever had!
HOTEL - the rooms are recently renovated and gorgeous. The buffet breakfast was delicious. The made to order omelets were a crowd-pleaser for sure. A complimentary happy hour for 2hrs each afternoon for hotel guests is a major perk too!
VALUE- The Embassy Suites doesn't nickle and dime you AT ALL! Most venues charge for each chair cover, tablecloth, centerpiece, sash, table # stand, etc. all of this and more was included at Embassy suites and Natalie made sure that our selections were exactly what we had hoped for.
STAFF- Natalie, Mark, Julie and the entire team are amazing! They do whatever they can to ensure perfection and are so attentive to your needs! We are forever indebted to this crew for facilitating the very best day of our lives thus far.

    THANK YOU EMBASSY SUITES RIVERCENTER!!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Rivercenter in Covington and couldn't be happier. The Embassy was so accommodating, the location is ideal. Everyone we worked with up to the wedding, the day of the wedding and reception, and afterwards did everthing they could to ensure things went smoothly. From the people at the front desk, to the catering manager, the banquet captain, bartenders, and servers, all were receptive to questions, they would check on things, they would help us with no hesitation (no one said, I don't know or that's not my area ~ they said, "I'll find out" and they did). Their service was outstanding. We had terrible weather that day and moved the ceremony inside from the patio. The reception was in the beautiful City View and Captians View Ballrooms. Once we got to the ceremony and then to ballroom for the reception, the weather just didn't matter. The food was outstanding, and the all inclusive packages can't be beat. We received so many compliments and now have great memories of the wedding. If you can keep your numbers under 150, the Embassy is a great option.

I spent a lot of time researching and searching for the perfect venue for our wedding reception in Cincinnati and I could not be more pleased with my ultimate decision to use the Captain's View/Cityview room at the Embassy Suites in Covington. Shannon Bohman was my contact from the first phone call for info to the night of the event and she handled every detail perfectly. The enitre staff the night of the reception went above and beyond to make the event perfect and it truly was. Our guests had the best time AND raved about the food and service. I highly recommend having any reception here and working with Shannon.

We very much enjoyed our wedding reception at the Embassy Suites! They were very helpful in setting up the ball room and dealing with having part of our food catered by them and a part from the outside. They were a little pricier for having a limited selection on how to decorate the reception but we made it work out. Sadly our parents got seated at a table in the back (the table numbers were not assigned correctly) but that was not significant when the dancing began. We would definitely recommend using them for the lovely view and location on the River Front!

We were super happy with our wedding reception. We had it in the small City View room that overlooks the river and the Cincinnati skyline. The view absolutely stunning once it turned dark. The staff are very courteous, professional, and flexible. They helped me with every little question and were very attentive to details. The only downfall was that it was a little costly, but it was totally worth it!

We were very pleased with our reception site. They catered to our guests in a very professional manner. The food was wonderful and the staff went above and beyond to decorate the venue just as I had asked. I highly recommend using the Captain's Room with the beautiful view of the city.

You cannot beat the view at Embassy Suites! I only considered venues with an amazing view of the skyline, and for our budget, it worked out perfectly! Though the package promises a "day of coordinator", the only problem in the end was that there wasn't much help on the day of. Our DJ took over to help move things along, and while it worked out, I worry what would have happened otherwise.

They were great to work with overall. Sometimes hard to get in touch with via email, but always responsive via telephone. Lost a few items of small importance to me after the wedding, but very detailed and willing to please.

Pre-wedding planning was outstanding with communication above and beyond. However, the night of the ceremony, the mother of the bride experienced some hiccups. The Banquet Manager was not nearly as accommodating as the original planner. We were not told until the day of the wedding that the planters (which looked dirty) would not be covered. We had requested a stand that was promised, but not delivered. To cover the entrance to a parking garage,(which was right next to where the wedding party stood), we were told to buy curtains and a shower rod. After the curtains and rod were removed from the packaging, the banquet manager decided to remove it because of wind. The wind that had been blowing all day long. It would have been nice to be able to return the items. Second snafu, only half of the cupcakes were put out before the wedding, and we could not find the rest of the them until the reception was over. The bar tender was the only employee to be found after the plates were removed, until the last 15 min. Overall preplanning, wonderful! Suggestion, meet the banquet manager before things get hectic an hour before the wedding.

Beautiful setting with the river view. Didn't have the reception hall ready until up to the ceremony finished. Never decorated the outside like the pictures show, wrinkled table cloths, and satin bows. Wouldn't let our cake lady in until late so she was putting up the cake while ceremony was going on. The person in charge made promises that were not kept, they even forgot to put down the aisle runner. Ran out of chicken when guest were in line, food was not up to taste like the demo we tried. Ran out of water at the bar for people to drink. Put decorations out very early before ceremony to where the wind knocked them over and broke before the ceremony. When our rehearsal was going on instead of the person in charge helping us, she was selling another wedding date and showing them around while we needed her for questions. Then she left and didn't even tell anyone. Very under staffed for our special day, and the hotel room suite had a very musty smell. Was not happy with the service considering the high price that was charged.

I had high hopes for this hotel, since it is part of the Hilton. We had a million things go wrong at our reception. Our "honeymoon suite" was dirty, they didn't set up our room correctly, we had 2 sets of wedding crashers, that the bartender insisted on serving after being told by several guest they didn't belong there, my maide of honor's flowers were taken at the end of the night, and when they boxed up our belongings they ruined my cake topper and took no care at all with any of our other things.

BRIDES BEWARE!!! My husband and I got married June 4th, 2016. I reserved the executive suite for the bridal party to get ready in as well as a block of rooms for out of town guests! We had the executive suite reserved for two night (Friday and Saturday) and both nights were miserably HOT. We spoke to management about the problem with very little resolve that weekend. Since that weekend I have called management SEVERAL times, to dispute our now $400 charge and have received without very little response. We were told that we would get 10,000 points for our stay but that cannot fix my wasted $200 on hair and make-up, $400 for an unsafe and miserable room and priceless time wasted on my wedding day!!!!!!
