  Absolutely amazing!

  Embellish,LLC was one of the best vendors we hired for our wedding. Maryam brought my vision to life for all my events. She was so patient and responsive, which made the planning process much easier. Maryam and her husband also came to one of the venue walkthrough, where we discussed the decor and she helped visualize it better!
  We also had a change of location for one of the events from indoors to outdoors, it was communicated and managed it so well!
  All the decor was subpar and so elegant. All the guests were praising about how beautiful the mandap and reception stage looked!
  I would recommend Maryam in a blink of an eye!

  Maryam was recommended to us by our DJ, and I'm so glad she was available to decorate our wedding reception. She was very easy to work with leading up to the event, and very transparent and consultative with the various decorative options. She took our vision into account and crafted a great set of decorations. She went above and beyond during the event, adding to the visual aesthetic of our sweetheart table!   Brings Your Vision to Life

  Maryam was amazing to work with and we absolutely loved the vibe she created for our wedding reception. We had an intimate destination wedding, which was followed by a home reception the weekend after. It was a crazy, few weeks leading up to our event, and having eMbelliSH as our decorator was one of the best decisions we made. Maryam was so easy to work with and we absolutely loved how organized she was in her way of working with us. She was attentive to our vision and suggested appropriate colors and décor items accordingly. Given we had a winter reception with the season’s first snowfall that weekend, she really did an amazing job in bringing about the winter wonderland vibe we had envisioned. We were very pleased with Maryam’s work and there is no doubt she will make your event look magical!

  Gorgeous Decor

  Maryam was so easy to work with. She discussed my ideas over the course of multiple phone calls, sent me inspiration, and even changed the plan at the very last minute to accommodate me. The end result, which came together at the last minute, was perfect. Even though our budget for decor was a bit smaller, our venue looked so well done.

  Incredible Experience!

  We got married last weekend and used Maryam / the Embellish team for one of our events (a sangeet, with over 230 guests) and she was a DREAM to work with!! She spent ample time talking to me about our vision, was extremely flexible and stayed within our budget, and even created unique pieces to complement the decor that she didn't already have. And most importantly, she was VERY responsive and extremely kind and easy to talk to - whether it was via text or email, she responded to all my questions and crazy ideas (and there were a lot) in a very timely manner - which is very rare in this industry! Could not recommend her enough!!

  Maryam was amazing to work with, she was flexible,easy going and gave great direction.

Maryam and her husband are an amazing team who drove all the way out to the venue for a site visit, since we gave them the task of transforming a church hall/gym.   My stages were beautiful!

  Maryam did the full decor for my Friday night event and did the stage decor for my wedding on Saturday. Friday night’s event was a sangeet-style welcome reception, and I was BLOWN away when I walked into the room. My whole family was blown away by how colorful and high quality Maryam’s work was. On Saturday, Maryam did a dreamy starry night stage for us - and it looked so magical! My only qualm was that I requested the backdrop to hit the ceiling, and it did not but honestly the stage was so beautiful I did not even notice. I went for starry night theme in our ballroom, and Maryam executed the dreamy/starry night decor perfectly. Thank you so much Maryam!

  Maryam absolutely nailed bringing our wedding day vision to life!

  Maryam provided decorations and flowers for our wedding ceremony and reception and we couldn't have been happier with her work. Even our venue said our floral arrangements were some of the most beautiful they've seen! She was super responsive and communicative with us throughout the process, and even accommodated last minute changes (within reason!) to some of what we wanted or needed. We had a rough idea of what we wanted everything to look like and she was able to execute on our vision using only our descriptions and reference images, which was so cool to see. Because we had a Hindu-Jewish wedding we wanted to incorporate our tallis into the mandap and she not only did so beautifully but took care to be respectful of the cloth, asking us questions that showed her sensitivity. We don't think anybody else could have nailed our requests the way she did!

  I cannot rave enough about Maryam and her team. They provided decor services for our wedding in September 2021. Maryam was incredibly attentive, responsive, trustworthy, patient, flexible and professional and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our event decor. We had several changes leading up to the event including a switch from outdoor to indoor and she did not miss a beat and took everything in stride. Maryam's prices are also extremely fair especially after I consulted with other South Asian wedding decorators in the DMV. She was truly a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her team's services to anyone looking for wedding decor!

She was so easy to work with, and helped me with all the crazy ideas that I had. She incorporated aspects of my culture with Sudanese fabric into the stage decor and at the door entrance which tied the whole event together. She even came to pick up the fabric and other decor pieces from my house. She worked within my budget and was always a phone call/ text away! If you’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and all around sweet person to work with for your event, please don’t look any further than Maryam, she will go the extra mile for you and will help you have a stress free day!

  eMbelliSH is amazing! From the first call I knew they were the one I wanted to go with. I appreciated so much that Maryam understood the vision I had for our wedding day. She was so helpful with every part of the process, offering to complete pieces that I was initially planning on doing but either did not have time to do or it not turning out the way I wanted. She was even accommodating when I changed the color theme mid way. Honestly I wasn't at all stressed about this component of the wedding because I knew we were in good hands and she made it such a fun experience for us. She executed the vision so beautifully, the colors, the flowers, everything was perfect. It felt so modern and romantic at the same time. My guests were impressed as well. Thank you again eMbelliSH!

  Now let’s start with Maryam's work ethic: Maryam is not only extremely professional, but just a lovely person to work with. Maryam always communicated clearly, was extremely responsive, and most importantly, was willing to take feedback and incorporate any changes in stride.
  
  Now for her work: Maryam is able to balance listening to your needs, while providing her own creative views and opinions. What that results in is an elevated work product that still feels true to your vision as a bride, while bringing in a unique perspective. Now that's talent!
  
  I was beyond pleased with the outcome of my decor at all of my wedding events (Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception). We went through several iterations of the decor and set up and the final work product at all events did not disappoint! I was particularly pleased with the decor at my wedding ceremony, it seriously looked like a dream and exceeded all my expectations!
  
  Last, but not least, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that her prices are extremely fair and competitive compared to other decorators in the area. I was extremely impressed with the value received in terms of the high quality end product.
