Emerald Beach was one of the most affordable options for a resort wedding on the island. Every room has ocean view. The beach is amazing and kept up so well. Probably some of the best hotel staff I have had. All staff seemed to love their job and produce quality work every day. We had 36 total guests there, so I have a pretty good idea of many opinions about the resort. Every guest was in love with the beach here. I liked the restaurants as well on site. I highly recommend this resort! -

We chose St. Thomas since its both a tropical Caribbean oasis and also a "U.S. territory" during the Covid pandemic. Overall we are happy we made this choice ! Linda and her staff did a great job! Linda was so quick at responding to emails/texts and makes you feel at ease throughout the whole process. She's very knowledgeable and is quick to resolve issues or concerns. Christa was our onsite coordinator and she was lovely to work with and handled everything beautifully ! They both have worked together for a long time so they are experts at destination wedding ! This venue is actually one of the most affordable options on the island. Don't let the negative reviews on Emerald resort deter you away from this option because my family and I enjoyed our stay there that I'm still getting text messages about wanting to go back. The reception at Emerald was awesome. We chose the Caribbean Buffet food option for our guests. They loved it so much they got up for seconds and thirds! If you're looking for extreme seclusion, this may not be your option. I didn't mind since everyone cheered us on from their hotel balconies and it was such a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. I'm so happy we chose this venue. I'm still dreaming of my wedding experience as I'm typing this in my work office. Wish I can go back and re-live it all ! We plan to go back for our 1st anniversary! -

With the exception of 3 planes taking off during our ceremony, the weather was great and the rain held off until after the service.
The staff were excited and helpful, making sure that I was contacted the moment my room was ready for my early check in.
The guests visiting the beach were respectful of our space and happy to congratulate us.
Overall a pleasant experience but a little bummed out about the early beach closures on the weekend due to COVID. But out of our control so, we just went to the pool. -

The beach ceremony was everything I could have ever dreamed of! Linda is a rockstar! She took care of everything: food, DJ,officiant, and all of the above! I didn’t have to worry about a thing! The staff at the hotel was beautifully accommodating and treated me like a princess on my special day and the whole stay! Highly recommended! -

Special thanks to our wedding coordinator, Linda Mason, from Emerald Beach Resort. Linda has an impeccable eye for detail, and helped us choose the photographer, DJ, dinner, cake, hair/makeup, florist, etc. that fit our vision. She was always just an email or phone call away, and answered every question I had (which was tons!) I was especially impressed with how customizable the wedding package was. Linda made sure every detail was just the way we hoped! I felt like I knew her forever when I finally got to meet her, and she was our angel throughout the entire process. We had the most magical wedding week at Emerald Beach Resort thanks to the wonderful staff that helped turn our wedding dream into reality! -

I had just started the wedding planning when Irma and Maria devastated the caribbean. As my family has a special affection for St Thomas, we wanted to get married there. I sent out emails to the resort and was overjoyed to learn that Emerald Beach had come through with some "bumps and bruises" but was, overall, faring well. My parents and I visited 1 year before the wedding and, considering how the hotel a few meters down the beach was obliterated, Emerald Beach was able to host us along with FEMA and The Red Cross. While our rooms during the initial visit did not have AC and no screens on the balconies (they did just endure 2 major hurricanes), the staff was doing their utmost to accommodate everyone and keep guests comfortable. Fast forward to a year later, the hotel was refreshed! New Pool! Beach bar and deck area were almost fully repaired (few tarps on the roof). Everyone had AC and screens on the balcony doors! Fresh paint was being applied to the building! A great sign of the return to life was the family of Chickens roaming the property!
Ceremony was beautifully decorated with flowers and the beach! Food for reception was great! I think my husband and I are the only bride and groom who actually got to eat at their reception (at least based on complaints from my friends and their weddings)! The buffet was beautiful and while guests served themselves, the staff made plates and brought to me and my groom. They also packed togo boxes for my husband and I to take back to our room!
Wedding was pure magic! -
