  Incredible band (and we didn't make it easy!)

  From start to finish, Emerald Empire was fantastic. Bass player (and our point of contact for planning) Rashad Boswell was amazing, super professional, and so easy to work with. Our wedding ceremony, cocktails, dinner, and dancing took place in 3 separate locations -- walkable for guests but probably not easy for musicians carrying instruments! They did not miss a beat! In addition, during planning, Rashad recommended we follow the ceremony/string trio with a jazz quartet for the cocktail hour - total game-changer in terms of the vibe! Got everyone in the mood to celebrate. Could not recommend this band more highly.

  The best live band for weddings!

  We cannot thank Emerald Empire Band enough for such an unforgettable night! We had a pianist and guitarist at the ceremony, a jazz trio for cocktail hour, and a 5 piece band for the reception. While we did provide preferred music genres for the reception, the individual song selections the band made were perfection. Our family and friends were tearing up the dance floor all night long. We did a private last dance with the band playing and it ended up being more special than our first dance. Cannot recommend them enough!

  Amazing band amazing service!

  People are still talking about how amazing Emerald Empire was at our wedding! The booking, planning, and follow up preparation was seamless with Kelly the band manager. The band members are so talented the night was a hit!

  Not Your Average Wedding Band

  Music plays a big role in our family and having a live band was a priority for my daughter and son-in-law. From the very beginning and consistently throughout, Derrick was responsive to helping coordinate the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The music for every segment of the wedding was excellent and we received many compliments on how great the band was. The quality of the professional instrumentalists and the vocalists were so good, we didn't want want them to stop playing! They understood their "audience" and adjusted their music accordingly. A big thank you to the band for bringing positive energy to the wedding and making the evening unforgettable.

  Amazing Wedding Reception Band!

  We booked the Emerald Empire Band to play at our wedding reception in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. We booked a six-piece band, and we're so thrilled with our decision! Our producer, and the band's planning portal made organizing everything so easy! The band knows a staggeringly wide variety of music, and they were able to match our taste and play specific songs we selected for our first dance/father-daughter dance. We had a smaller wedding, but the band still had folks dancing all night!

  Emerald Empire Band did an AMAZING job MC-ing and performing at our wedding. They served as both a cocktail hour Jazz trio, as well as a seven-piece band during the reception. The dance floor was always full and everyone was extremely enthusiastic about their performance. Throughout the night, our guests came up to us and praised their performance. We absolutely LOVED them and would not change a single thing about the music at our wedding. Thank you to CJ and the Raleigh band!

  Absolutely amazing!

  WOW Emerald Empire Band literally rocked it. We booked them based off their awesome reviews and they more than lived up to the hype. They made planning super smooth: they have a web document where you can organize and plan EVERYTHING - type A personalities look no further! And I am still, months later, hearing from friends and family about how much they loved the band that night - "it was like being at an actual concert!" is the usual sentiment. Besides being fantastic, incredibly talented musicians, they were also just really, really nice people. We truly enjoyed having them at our wedding and could not have asked for a better group of musicians to rock out with all night :)

  Hands down best wedding band EVER!!!

  I may be biased as it was my own wedding but this band knocked our socks off! The manager was responsive and super helpful during the entire planning process. And the band itself blew us away on wedding night!

  Emerald Empire Band was AMAZING

  Emerald Empire Band went above and beyond our expectations. From the start, they were so responsive and easy to work with. We worked very closely with Ray to personalize our ceremony and reception music and he absolutely nailed it. They kept the energy high all night and had the dance floor packed.
