  Look no further

  Emie is the BEST! My fiance and I started out sooo awkward, but she really made us feel comfortable and loosen up. Before we knew it we were really in the swing of things, and Emie really hyped us up. Also, of note, Emie did an amazing job scouting areas for the session. She used my Pinterest board and recreated the desired atmosphere. Overall, absolutely magical!

  Emie Rocks!

  Emie and her assistant Michael were fantastic! From our first meeting with Emie, she made sure that our wishes were heard and made sure that it was something she could capture. Through the planning process, she reassured us and continuously instilled confidence in us. On the day of our wedding, her and Michael were early and comforting. They did getting ready photos, our first look, bridal party photos, and family photos per our shot list. They were so knowledgable and paid great attention to the lighting and backdrop, having us change angles a few times to account for it. She coached us through poses and, most importantly, what to do with our hands. During the ceremony and reception, they both were able to capture shots that we had no idea they were even in position for! They also brought disposable cameras to the event for our guests to take candids throughout the night and we’re super excited to see how those turn out! 
Additionally, they were very professional in handling relatives who wanted to take pictures on their own equipment throughout the day. They were so fun to work with, we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer in the Albemarle area!

  Engagement & Wedding Photos

  We used Emie for our engagement and wedding photos. She did an amazing job with organizing photos for our huge family as well as making sure our photos turned out amazing even though it rained on our wedding day. We felt so confident in Emie throughout the entire wedding day as we spent so much time planning together talking through our must have photos. She was always easy to reach via email and text with all planning and questions. Would 100% recommend Emie's Photo LLC for any couple!

  Emie is amazing

  Emie was such an amazing photographer! Since my initial phone consultation, I knew she would be the perfect person for our elopement! She went above and beyond our expectations and made our special day better than we could’ve imagined! She captured not only photos but our emotions and memories that we made. Since we eloped, we wanted to make sure we had the perfect photographer to capture our day, and Emie was just that! She took amazing photos, gave amazing advice on what to do in the area, and basically planned our entire elopement. She ensured that our day was smooth and completely stress free. When weather seemed as if it would be a problem, Emie was quick with brainstorming alternatives- thankfully the weather was perfect! I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful and stress-free elopement, all thanks to Emie! Thank you so much for all that you do, we could not be more grateful!

  Engagement Session

  Our shoot with Emie was the first shoot that we have done as a couple. Our shoot was also a giveaway that I won at a bridal expo. Emie is SO much fun to work with. Our experience was truly one of a kind. We all three clicked and it felt like we were hanging out with an old friend (who happens to take bomb photos). She told us exactly what to do when we didn’t know but also let us just be ourselves. And that’s exactly what we wanted. She captured our image effortlessly and was easy going and encouraging. She is clear with timelines and communication. If you’re looking for a photographer to capture a special moment - you will not be disappointed with Emie’s Photo. 10/10 highly recommend. Thank you again Emie!

  Emie's Fantastic!

  Emie covered our engagement photos, rehearsal and ceremony and was absolutely fantastic! Being the center of attention and getting photos done can be a little uncomfortable, but Emie sets you at ease and makes the whole experience wonderful! From suggesting and scouting out locations, taking our comfort levels into consideration and just being there to help with literally anything I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer! We have received so many compliments on the photos we’ve shared from her.

  The BEST Wedding Photographer!

  We could not have been happier with the service we received from Emie and her second shooter, Michael, throughout our engagement, wedding planning, and our actual wedding day. Emie is so kind and incredibly responsive. She is incredibly responsive and well organized when it comes to planning, and she excellently captured our vision for both sessions we had with her! In terms of turnaround time, she was so quick! We got sneak peeks from our wedding day less than 12 hours after she finished shooting, and the full gallery only a few weeks later. She truly captured our day perfectly, totally understood my vision and priorities, and on top of all that, was so kind and helpful, she was the best at figuring out how the bustle on my dress worked!!! I could not recommend Emie enough, she really is a dream to work with!
