  Emily Alice did all the makeup for my wedding. She was the nicest person to work with, very professional, and went out of her way to make the experience perfect. She listened to what I wanted with my makeup and did a beautiful job. My bridal makeup was so perfect that many people commented on it throughout the day. I'm so happy I decided to hire Emily Alice for our makeup and would definitely recommend her and hire her again in the future!

  I just recently had my trial hair and makeup done by Emily this past weekend. She did an amazing job!!!! I was absolutely in love with my makeup and how natural it looked. I showed Emily pictures of what I was interested in, and she was able to create the perfect look for me! She truly has a talent when it comes to hair and makeup. She was also one of the kindest people to work with! I highly recommend Emily Alice and her salon is also adorable. I cannot wait for my big day in August when I bring my entire wedding party! :)

  My husband and I were just married on August 11th, 2018. I used Emily Alice for my entire bridal party on the day of my wedding. I cannot even begin to express how wonderful the entire experience was. The salon is beautiful, Emily and her staff are extremely kind and accommodating, and we all looked so beautiful the second we walked out! We had 8 girls in her salon from 9am until 1pm and Emily completed the most incredible makeup and hair on all of my girls! Every single one of my girls could not be happier with the gorgeous makeup and fabulous hair undos!! I cannot recommend enough the fabulous work that Emily and her staff did. Our wedding was absolutely incredible and it couldn’t have been made possible without Emily Alice!!! Thanks a million!!!

  I used Emily Alice for hair and makeup for my rehearsal dinner and wedding and was so impressed with what a great job the stylists and team did. They came to the hotel to do all of my bridesmaids as well, we're so efficient and professional, did such a beautiful job and are so reasonably priced for what they offer. Most of us getting the services were from the NYC area and can be particular about our hair and makeup :) but they did such a spectacular job, everyone was very happy with the team. Thank you so much Emily and to all your staff, you were a delight to get ready with! Colleen

My hair and makeup both stayed put all night long and we all got so many compliments. I would definitely recommend working with Emily Alice Salon for your wedding.

  Emily did my hair and makeup. I don't have much experience with makeup so I relied on her judgement and the results were superb. I received a ton of compliments for makeup and particularly, my hair. I found her prices to be reasonable, especially because my makeup and hair were done on location, albeit a location that was relatively close to her store. Would recommend without hesitation.

  I first discovered Emily Alice because I live close by. The salon is adorable and after looking at their website and learning more about the products they use that are all natural and good for you I knew I wanted to try them out. I went to the salon twice, for make up trial and wedding makeup. Both visits I noticed that the atmosphere was very relaxed and while they were all very nice, time was of no concern to any of the women working there. I was on time for both my trial and wedding makeup application and both times I waited about 20- 30 minutes before I was sat down for makeup. Although I booked both appointments well in advance, I excused the makeup trial but I was appalled that day of my wedding I was waiting for so long (30 minutes after appointed time). Emily did my makeup as well as my mothers. If you are willing to wait, she does a beautiful job. She has a lot of talent and listens to exactly what you want. The makeup felt light and was exactly what I was looking for. I truly felt like I looked my best. And it stayed on, all day through the humid heat and rain! It was fairly priced and overall I'm incredibly happy. Unfortunately I hesitate to recommend only because of their disregard for time.

  I'm very unhappy with the service I received for my wedding hair from this salon. I had a trial with Dustin 2 weeks before my wedding and I wanted my hair half up half down/curly. The trial itself cost $100 (not what is listed on their website) and immediately after I left the salon, the curl completely came out of my hair. When I went in for my day of hair styling, Dustin was 40 minutes late, which set my entire day back including make up appointment elsewhere. I shared with him that the curl came out of my hair during the trial and requested tighter curls this time (showing him a picture). He assured me he would use better product this time but curled my hair the exact same way. Yet again the curl came out an hour later, and I ended up needing one of my bridesmaids to try to curl my hair before the wedding. He also styled my bangs differently and I told him 3 times during the appointment that I wasn't crazy about them, but he didn't fix them. Due to time constraints from him being late, I ended up going home and trying to fix them myself. To his credit, the up-do was done well, but not worth the high cost and hassle of everything else that happened this day.
  
  As I mentioned earlier, the website listed the trial and wedding hair as $100, and I wasn't corrected on this until I went to pay for the trial when I was told that the website is "under construction" and my trial would be $100 alone, and I'd be quoted on my wedding day for anywhere between $60-$90 on the day of my wedding due to it being "a simple up-do". On the day of my wedding AFTER Dustin had already done the work, they told me it would be another $100. When I questioned it, the owner came over and told me that was what I was quoted, which wasn't true. She proceeded to get really nasty with me, going to the register and taking out a $10 bill and saying "if it's the difference between $10, just take your money." This salon is not worth your time. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.
