  Emily is amazing!

  I simply cannot sing enough praises for Emily Jordan. When my partner and I decided to elope in Seward, we embarked on a quest to find the perfect photographer, and fate led us to Emily through Google.
  
  Right from our initial correspondence, I had a feeling she was going to be exceptional. Little did I know, she would surpass our expectations in every conceivable manner.
  Emily took the time to engage with us, both over the phone and through email, prior to our big day. Her warmth and professionalism reassured us that we were in capable hands.
  
  But it was on the day of the wedding that she truly shone. Emily's dedication and attention to detail went above and beyond, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.
  
  We recently received our "first look" photos, and if these initial glimpses are anything to go by, I am utterly spellbound. Emily's talent is palpable in every frame, capturing moments of sheer magic that transport us back to that unforgettable day. I find myself utterly captivated, repeatedly revisiting these images, each time discovering new layers of beauty and emotion.

  10/10 would recommend!

  We asked Emily to photograph an intimate Alaskan vow ceremony, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! The photos turned out beautifully - she made us both look our best, and she captured the true essence of our day. Emily was super communicative from the start and helped us plan out our schedule so we could fit in everything we wanted to capture on camera in our ~3 hours together. She was so easygoing, friendly, and fun to work with - I always hate taking photos and feel awkward doing so, but she made it so much easier! She was also incredibly accommodating to our requests - a family member in attendance passed away shortly after our ceremony, and she made sure I had photos from the ceremony to share at his memorial. We’re so glad she was able to work with us - our photos were the biggest investment in the day, but they were worth every penny. We would work with Emily again in a heartbeat!!!

  Emily is positive, energetic, and so present on your big day

  Emily brought so much positive and energetic energy to our elopement day- she truly loves what she does and it shows. If you want an adventure buddy who is just having a blast the whole time, she’s perfect for you. It’s the exact kind of energy you want to be around on your wedding day to have fun and be comfortable even if you aren’t typically a photo person!

  Exceptional

  If you are looking for a photographer for your engagement and wedding photos you will not be disappointed with Emily! My husband and I got to know Emily prior to our wedding completing an engagement shoot. This was a great way for all of us to get to know each other prior to our big day! I highly recommend an engagement shoot if your able!
  
  Emily worked closely with us with multiple phone calls prior to our wedding. This gave us the ability to have all the details / schedule figured out prior to our wedding day.
  
  On our wedding day Emily was professional, fun and felt like a friend. On a day when emotions are high and your photographer is there for so many intimate moments, Emily was perfect. She drove to our remote wedding location in the mountains and spent over 9 hours pouring her soul into capturing our love story.
  When we received our full gallery it brought me to tears. My husband and I could re-live our day through the photos.
  
  Her photos will capture your candid expressions and those of your loved ones and guests. Capturing candid expressions was so important to me and I was so happy with our finished gallery. Emily captures all the small details too. She is wonderful with kids, keeping them smiling and full of patience. I can not recommend her enough! You will not be disappointed! :) I will be using Emily or future milestones!

  Alaska Elopement

  There are no words that I can use to accurately describe how much of an AMAZING photographer Emily is. She captured our elopement - start to finish - including all of the important details that helped make our families feel as though they were present. Looking at our photographs - every emotion, feeling, and memory from our special day gets sparked. I had so many concerns with eloping but Emily was able to help put all of those to rest. I cannot rave about Emily’s work enough. HIGHLY recommend!

  Amazing/ Beyond belief

  I found Emily purely by chance, but from our first meeting over the phone I knew she would be amazing to work with for our wedding! She is one of the sweetest and pure hearted people you could meet. She helped us every step of the way with planning our Seward wedding all the way from Ohio.
  
  Then the wedding day arrived and she helped make it the most magical day ever. Never once did we feel awkward (I’m an odd ball about getting my photos taken) and she fit right in with our group. Emily is an amazing photographer who has an eye for her clients. She was able to truly capture the love and the goofiness my husband and I have. I’m still crying over how beautiful our pictures are.
  
  If you want the best photo experience in Alaska, I beyond recommend Emily. She’s become a true friend to me and I can’t thank her enough!

  Emily was nothing less than amazing

  Emily was beyond perfect. She took her time to capture all of the details that meant so much to us. She was patient and knew exactly what she was doing and the shots that she was looking for. We had so much fun shooting with her and every single picture turned out beyond what I ever imagined. She is amazing and I highly recommend her!!

  Emily was a great find! We didn't know the area at all and she picked several beautiful locations that we could not have found on our own. I asked for big beautiful landscape shots with our wedding photos and she definitely delivered!

  Emily was so amazing! She listened to the shots we absolutely wanted to get, and also suggested some poses/shots that we hadn't thought of. The pictures have great composition, and I love them so much!! She was very attentive and flexible, even when we had to caravan the wedding party to a different area of the venue for a scenic backdrop. We even got some photos with the horses at the venue!

  Seward Wedding Photographer

  Emily was an awesome photographer to work with! She fit right in and made the whole wedding experience enjoyable and memorable. We didn't get to meet her until the day of our wedding but she instantly fit right in. Our whole family couldn't stop talking about how awesome and personable she was to be around.

  Stress-Free, Friendly Photographer

  While worrying about so many other wedding details, the photographer was not one! Emily exceeded our expectations, from start to finish! We booked her for both our engagement pictures and wedding day. She is truly a joy to work with, so kind and easy to talk to. She was great for helping talk through wedding planning and stresses. She works with your style and how you like to be captured, whether posed or more candid. If it were not for the photo proof, I almost would have forgotten she was there! I mean that in the best way possible as she was great at blending in and not disrupting the flow of the day. One of my favorite aspect was how she captured the seemingly little details and moments that I'm sure would begin to fade with time (like how we ended up signing our marriage license on my father-in-law's back). I felt like we not only had a wedding photographer but a friend; someone who truly seemed to take deep care and consideration to capturing our day perfectly. We are so thankful we chose Emily to be our photographer, and we will be sure to choose her again for any other big life moments.

  Every detail was amazing!

  I can't say enough good things about Emily. She really made our wedding day so much more special just with her presence, let alone her photos. She was so friendly and helpful and overall just absolutely amazing! I can't recommend her enough for anything you need. She is just an wonderful person and the photos are stunning! She was very accommodating and flexible with our day and our additional session.

  Engagement Session

  We loved our session with Emily! We were on vacation and scheduled a last minute session and it was perfect!
  We asked for mountain scenery and she delivered. She made us feel comfortable as taking pictures isn’t “our thing” and the pictures turned out amazing! I would 100% recommend using her services.

  More than we ever expected.

  I planned my own rustic backyard wedding for the summer of 2021. Even for a small wedding, it was extremely stressful to plan, albeit rewarding! As the day came closer, I began to feel more and more overwhelmed with the details. The day itself went so quickly that it was all an amazing, fun filled blur. I know it's common for the couple to be so busy on their big day that they hardly remember the details. Because of this, in the weeks following, I found myself second guessing my financial and decorating decisions, and wishing I'd been able to enjoy them more, hoping they were enough...
  
  Not only was Emily there through the whole process for advising, but when her photos came back, they washed all of that away. She knew exactly what pictures to take; from the decorations, the scenery, small candid gestures between friends and family, to the photos of us while we took a break from our family (hah!). This was a rapid-fire six hour setup/takedown same day wedding with a huge crazy family and children aged 2-10. We were able to take wedding photos, family photos on both sides, and candids throughout the day, including bride and groom prep, first looks, and more. I truly don't know how Emily did all of it without an invisible twin, I'm still not convinced it was only her! She made our modest Alaska-themed backyard wedding look amazing with all the right angles and ideas. She took photos of things we never would thought to save, and I'm so grateful. Lastly, we've had photographers in the past who didn't have chemistry with our family and it made the whole experience a little awkward. Emily was perfect. She knew exactly how to get people's attention, the kids loved her, and again she was so creative with all of her shots of the family.
  
  I could go on and on. Do yourself a favor and hire Emily for your wedding, honeymoon, engagement, etc. She's worth EVERY penny and we can't wait to work with her again in the future.

  I planned my own rustic backyard wedding for the summer of 2021. Even for a small wedding, it was extremely stressful to plan, albeit rewarding! As the day came closer, I began to feel more and more overwhelmed with the details. The day itself went so quickly that it was all an amazing, fun filled blur. I know it's common for the couple to be so busy on their big day that they hardly remember the details. Because of this, in the weeks following, I found myself second guessing my financial and decorating decisions, and wishing I'd been able to enjoy them more, hoping they were enough...
  
  Not only was Emily there through the whole process for advising, but when her photos came back, they washed all of that away. She knew exactly what pictures to take; from the decorations, the scenery, small candid gestures between friends and family, to the photos of us while we took a break from our family (hah!). This was a rapid-fire six hour setup/takedown same day wedding with a huge crazy family and children aged 2-10. We were able to take wedding photos, family photos on both sides, and candids throughout the day, including bride and groom prep, first looks, and more.   Working with Emily was a dream! She made the entire process so seamless. The booking process and preparation for our wedding shoot was simple. There weren't any hidden fees or surprises. She was incredibly flexible. She also had some great tips for us about booking other vendors in the area (caterer, helicopter charter, restaurants, etc).
  
  On the wedding day itself, Emily had a calm and comforting demeanor - all while hustling to get all of the important shots. She gracefully took any suggestions for photos that our group had. The groom and I felt SO COMFORTABLE with her, which is not something we expected since we aren't much for getting our pictures taken. And WOW - the photos turned out amazing!   Emily was amazing!!

  Amazing photographer

  Emily did our elopement photos and I seriously could not have asked for better! The overall experience was amazing and she was super flexible and go with the flow since I really didn’t have a set schedule on anything. Luckily for me the stars lined up for her to be our photographer on fairly short notice. She communicated very well and made the elopement much easier, considering we were traveling quite a distance. She also has the most excitement for everything which rubs off and gets other excited. I’d recommend her to anyone!

Emily was professional and patient when our plans had to shift to a maternity photo shoot. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed the whole time, which wasn’t easy.   Emily is the best! She did my family pictures last year and they turned out amazing. She is so fun and the easiest ever to work with, most importantly she made everyone feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and captured all of our personalities so perfectly in her work. I would (and plan to) continue to work with her over and over for every event in my life I want to remember.   Fun family photography session

  Emily was great to work with for family photos! She was early, full of ideas, and super patient while working with 12 people spanning 4 generations, all while the wind was blowing like 40 miles an hour.
