The most magical engagement photos
Where to begin! Emily did the most incredible job capturing our engagement photos in Chicago. The afternoon was a COLD one and it started snowing mid shoot (which made the photos all the more magical), but she made it so fun and guided us through the process since this was our first time having our photos taken and we weren't exactly how to pose, etc. She had so many creative ideas for shots and was also great about asking us for our thoughts as well. I cannot recommend Emily enough -- she's seriously the best! -

We are in love with our wedding photos! They are not only gorgeous, but perfectly capture the magic of the event. She has an incredible talent of capturing both portraits and the candid emotion of you/your guests. She made both wedding day and the planning process so much easier. I cannot recommend Emily enough you will not regret trusting her to capture your wedding or engagement photos. -

Emily was a dream to work with from start to finish! From our first meeting with her, we were drawn to her warm and even-keeled vibe and knew it would be great to have her on our side as my husband and I had never really been in front of a camera in that way before. Throughout our planning she was so responsive -- even in the midst of this crazy COVID wedding bottleneck era -- and had great recommendations as we shaped our timeline for the day. Day of, she was amazing at keeping us on time, pivoting plans based on weather, posing us through portrait shots, coordinating family shots and beyond, all while being totally breezy and fun and hyping us up for our ceremony. I really don't know how she does it and would love to know her secret! The photos we received are even more magical than we could have imagined, and we'll forever be grateful to Emily for so beautifully capturing the happiest day of our lives. Thanks Emily!!! -

Emily was a dream from start to finish for our wedding! At our first meeting she was prepared, asked great questions and gave important input about timeline and how long certain shoots should take. She sent me easy documents to complete when we officially chose her that further dug into our wedding day vision and the types of photos that were high priority for us.
The day of she was a calming presence. She meshed well with the bridal party and family. She kept things light while still staying on schedule and also being flexible with 100° temperatures. She figured out how to get good pictures while keeping us in the air conditioning as much as possible. I would hire her 100 times over and recommend her to everyone! -

Emily Williams photographed two weddings we attended so we reached out to her for her photo skills. Her images are stunning, but what really solidified her as our perfect photographer was her warm, bubbly nature. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! Emily also went above and BEYOND, scouting our picture locations ahead of time and planning spots to go to in case of rain!!! Cannot recommend her enough. -

Simply the Best Photos that Truly Feel Like Us
I can't say enough good things about Emily. She is a master of capturing the essence of YOUR wedding day, no posing or awkward hand placement required. Most of the day, she is an incredible documentarian — capturing so many candid moments that you'll relive the day just seeing them. And when it's 'official photo time,' she is such a force of calm and chill that everyone relaxes and enjoys themselves. She even makes group photos fun by taking them in action instead of in stilted poses. She is such a joyful light. Simply the best. -

Emily was our wedding photographer and we couldn’t be happier! She has such warmth and makes sure to capture all the details without you even realizing she is there. She came to our home to take photos while we got ready and just felt like part of our family. Once at the venue she let us take everything in while getting some wonderful candid shots. She truly has a keen eye for getting the perfect shots when you least expect it. She has such a talent for documentary style photography and I have some photos of my parents and friends that could never have been staged. It was organic and fun while also making sure we got the shots we had planned ahead of time. Emily had several meetings with us leading up to the wedding to make sure the day would run smoothly and all the photos we hoped for would get done. She works with you on budget and vision for the day of and delivers photos quickly and easily after the fact. Great communication throughout the whole process. We even got our engagement photos with her and that helped us create a relationship, and ease into having our photos taken. I am still looking at our photos daily and we got married eight months ago. We cannot recommend Emily enough as someone who truly loves what she does, makes her clients feel special, and is a fantastic photographer. We are so lucky that Emily captured our big day so perfectly! -
