  Wonderful experience!

  We chose emmyjay photography for both our engagement and wedding photos! Leslie was super sweet! She did an amazing job with everything! She is talented and creative, and has perfect ideas for great shots. Our photos turned out awesome and a super quick turnaround time! Highly recommend.

  Emmy jay is perfection

  I came across Emmy Jay Photography a year ago while browsing and searching Instagram for an engagement session photographer in South Florida. EVERYTHING about her photos, colors, poses, etc. stuck out! The photos were very personal, natural, beautiful, intimate and absolutely gorgeous! I knew she was the right choice! Our engagement session went super smooth and better than I could’ve ever imagine! My fiancé was nervous upon arrival, Emmy Jay made it fun and he felt as comfortable as ever! The photos came back flawless and fast! We were soo impressed with EMMY JAY Photography, that we called the minute we booked our wedding venue to lock in the date! She was AMAZING threw the whole process, beginning to end. She answered all calls/texts and was always willing to meet in person to chat and go over details! The day of the wedding she showed up early and worked with us while calming our nerves. She is not only talented in what she does, but also a complete SWEETHEART! Our photos came back fast and flawless as EVER!!! All our guests raved about our photographer! I HIGHLY recommend EMMY JAY Photography! You have one wedding, do it right! Photos are forever!! SHE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST!!

  Leslie just in a couple words was Extremely amazing.

  Leslie was chosen to shoot our wedding photos based on her doing a relatives wedding. So already knowing how amazing she is, we chose to have her do our wedding. She’s just such a wonderful individual and can make your experience so relaxed and comforting and not at all dictating. Almost as if she’s been a friend forever. She certainly is now and will always be asked to Do any other work as our family grows.

  Excellent Engagement Photoshoot!

  Leslie was incredible from our first email to our final goodbye's after the shoot. She was warm and easy to get along with; my fiance and I were so pleased we could be comfortable around her! She captured some amazing shots of us being ourselves and our families said we looked like a catalogue couple - and we are by no means professional models! Leslie is professional, reasonable, personable, and exceeded our expectations. She was even early to provide us with the digital copies! We look forward to working with her again for our wedding and we hope that if you're reading this, you will consider using her as well.

  We didn’t know upon meeting Leslie/Emmy Jay at a wedding show that we would be making the best decision ever when we later booked her as our wedding photographer, but we are so glad we did!!! We fell in love with the idea of having Leslie as our wedding photographer after our engagement session with her where she kept us laughing, energized, and relaxed even in the cold Michigan winter weather! Upon receiving our engagement photos we couldn’t be happier and immediately booked her for our wedding! Leslie far exceeded her role as a photographer the day of our wedding; she was a coordinator, a spirit-lifter, and a friend! From the second she met us in the bridal suite before the ceremony; she assisted my bridesmaids with last minute dress alterations, and then jumped right into capturing each and every moment of our special day! We treasure each and every one of the photos she captured as the day was truly a once in a lifetime experience.   The BEST Photographer, and I See a Lot

  Leslie is nothing short of amazing. From the first moment I met her, I knew she was the perfect sort of person to be a photographer. We met at a bridal show, but I wasn't a bride I was another vendor. Our booths were next to each other and we talked and laughed the whole time! I could instantly see how passionate she was about her career, and looking at her work I knew she was talented. We met several times after that for shows and every time was better than the last. In the wedding business, I see a lot of photographer's work, so I knew she was something special. I knew she was going to be my photographer before I was ever even engaged. Haha!
  
  It wasn't until my wedding day that I realized just how talented she is. She managed my 14 person wedding party with ease, which was a feat in and of itself because the personalities ranged from shy to obnoxiously outgoing and half didn't like having their photos taken, haha! She was original in her posing and was efficient in pose changes, even with large party pictures, which kept us on schedule. She had us laughing the entire time, and before 10 minutes were up everyone felt comfortable around her.
  
  It wasn't until I received my photos that I really, really realized how talented she is!!! They are absolutely beautiful. Even the ones where I was ugly-crying down the aisle, haha! She is an expert when it comes to lighting. We took pictures in dimly lit rooms, sun filled rooms, and a dark reception area with hundreds of candles and she nailed them all. Everyone I have showed the pictures to have said, "Wow, your photographer was amazing!" And she IS!!
  
  I have hundreds of beautifully captured photos to remind me of the happiest day of my life, all thanks to Emmy Jay Photography. Leslie, I can't begin to convey my thankfulness for all that you are, and all that you did on our special day. Looking forward to the day WE celebrate 12 years! :)

  Leslie was a true joy to work with for our wedding. For the moment I met her at a wedding show in Plymouth, I felt very comfortable and felt understood by her calming presence. My husband and I both have physical limitations and when I explained that to her, Leslie didn’t miss a beat and said that everyone has a photogenic angle or position that makes them shine and we would work as a team to find ours. She helped us feel our true selves which can be hard sometimes in a world where we can seem different to others. Our joy and love for each other shown through in her gorgeous photographs. Any couple would be lucky to have her on their special day. I know that my husband and I were!
  I hope that my husband and I can reconnect with her in the future on another special day in our life together!

  Professional photographer... Friend... BOTH!

  We would highly recommend choosing Emmy Jay Photography for your wedding! We met Leslie at a wedding expo, but meeting Leslie was like you had run into a old friend at the expo and not a vendor. Leslie is incredibly friendly and becomes your friend right away! She was engaging in conversation and focused on both of us and our interests for the wedding, but not only that she asked about our everyday lives and seemed truly interested in us. She is easy to work with and makes you feel so comfortable. She is extremely accommodating. Detroit was a huge part of our relationship and she was willing to take our engagement pictures downtown. We were in love with the engagement pictures and couldn't wait for her to capture our wedding day! On a very exciting and busy day, she brings a calming effect to the day. She makes everyone, especially the couple, feeling incredibly comfortable and always encouraging them to have fun! She will even join in on the dancing and singing on the party bus! She captured the day beautifully and her attention to detail was impeccable. We are so impressed by the results and incredibly grateful that we have the day captured to remember forever!   I found Emmy Jay Photography at the Novi wedding expo and I felt an immediate connection. She was effortless to work with and made me and my husband feel very special on our wedding day.   Leslie is Amazing!

  From our first meeting I knew this was going to be one of the easiest parts of our big day. Leslie knows her stuff and was able to help us anticipate things we hadn't even thought of, like how to get the family portraits done without causing family drama. She was sensitive and thoughtful to our unusual family dynamic. I did not once have to worry about the photography on the big day.
  And the pictures are incredible. They make me happy every time I look at them. Leslie really captured the whole day perfectly and beautifully. Thank you, Leslie! I hope to work with you in the future for our family photography too!

  Absolutely breathtaking! Best experience I have ever had!

  As both the wedding planner and the sister of the bride, things were a bit stressful. Leslie brought a calmness to the storm. She was helpful in more ways than could have been imagined. She was professional, yet seemed to blend right into the family as if it were her own sister getting married! Her portraits are absolutely breathtaking! Having Leslie there was the best choice we could have made! I highly recommend her for anyone needing or wanting professional photos that are amazing!

  My husband and I had an incredible experience with Leslie. The photo quality is amazing. We are so pleased with how everything turned out. It will be impossible to narrow down our pictures for the wedding album. She truly has a photographer's eye.   Leslie was so professional and patient with us, especially when it came to working with our big family and bridal party. I'm so glad we picked her to be our photographer. The quality of her pictures is amazing. By looking at her pictures you can tell she knows how to use natural lights and angles to make the pictures look their best. And she knows how to make us look good by telling us how to pose which made us both a lot less nervous about how our pictures would turn out. Thank you so much Leslie. And I'm so glad we got the book. It is definitely worth it.

  Throughout the whole planning process Emmy Jay Photography was there. From helping pick a custom package suitable for us, to coordinating a time line to capture every moment throughout our special day and even after. While creating our wedding album they were very responsive to any questions and concerns. In the end we have wonderful photos and a beautiful album to cherish always.

  Leslie is the most amazing , fun, & professional photographer to say the least! I had no idea the type of pictures my husband and I wanted and she exceeded all of our expectations. Our entire wedding party and family loved working with her and oooo and aaaah over the pictures each time they see them! She made us feel comfortable and really caught the feelings behind each picture. I wish that we were in the same state still so that she could take pictures of our newborn once we have her! Time is priceless and I wish I had taken more (I tried to say "oh, 5 hours is plenty"). I wish I would have booked more. Love, Love, Love Emmy Jay!

  Leslie is just amazing! But seriously she is a pleasure to work with and an amazing photographer. She has a way of bringing fun to taking photos and making you super comfortable. We just love her. She shot our engagement, wedding and baby announcement photos. I can honestly say all my photos were amazing. I would use her for every future occasion!

  We got super lucky when we stopped by Leslie's booth at a Wedding Show. Some of our greatest memories have been captured by her. She is an amazing photographer who became a great friend. The Hardrick family loves you!!!
