Unprofessional lack of communication
Spent thousands of dollars to have our wedding here and never even met the owner once.
BOTH tours we did, we were 'shown" around by an employee who did her best, but most questions boiled down to "let me ask Cassie". She then would walk away and do other chores around the property. So if we had questions, we had to hunt her down just to get an answer which was probably "l'm not sure.
Leading up to the wedding communication with the owner was horrible. She either wouldn't respond unless messaged repeatedly, or would take weeks to respond. On top of that, this place is also an AirBnB. So the owner makes you work around the fact that other people are staying on the property during the time you may be using it.
We were told the canoe in their pond would be cleaned up and ready to use for pictures on our big day. When we got there it was full of water, dirty, and had screws pointing INTO the canoe. Very dangerous and not at all what we were told.
We were also told by the employee that did the tours, that we could leave certain items for the owner, Cassie, to possibly buy and use at the venue. We left cheesecloth tablecloths there, told the employee and NEVER heard back. They just kept them and didn't say a word! The venue is gorgeous, but the management is extremely unprofessional.
I can't imagine treating a client the way we were treated. Especially with how much this place cost.
