  Extraordinary!

  We are so happy we chose Patricia/Encore Music to play the elegant string music at my daughter’s wedding in the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Paul on January 15, 2022. They were absolutely perfect! It was quite apparent that she and her musicians love what they do by the way each one of them played their instruments. The music was truly amazing; it literally could not have been better. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was to walk into the church and listen to the captivating musicians. She went above and beyond by also having an absolutely wonderful piano player for the cocktail hour. Patricia’s communication skills are excellent as she knew exactly what my daughter and her fiancé wanted in the way of music during the ceremony. Patricia is a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend Encore Music if you want a truly extraordinary musical experience for any occasion.

  Beautiful Music!

  Patricia and Encore Music did an amazing job playing strings for our ceremony and cocktail hour! They were so flexible with us through postponing and changing the location of our wedding due to the pandemic. They even played a hymn with a singer who performed at the ceremony. I played cello growing up and it was so special having the strings be a part of our wedding day.

  Beach Wedding String Duo

  We loved working with Patricia and Encore Music! Patricia was extremely responsive throughout the process and was super easy to work with. Timely on the day of and really added to the overall ambiance of the ceremony. I would absolutely recommend them again and again!

  Beautiful music- perfect pick!

  Hi Patricia,
  You were so amazing!!!! Thank you so much for making Friday night warm, welcoming, cozy, fun, and joyous as everyone came together for the first time. Your Friday night music really helped to break the nervous energy as my family was introducing themselves to Charlie's family and as our friends were meeting everyone. Truly the music just made the whole energy of the room feel relaxed and joyous and fun! Thank you so much.
  
  Then came the big day Saturday! Wow! I am so so so so happy you were there. You were literally the perfect addition to complete the outdoor ceremony vision I've had since I was a little girl. You were romantic, loving, soft, loud, and everything in between, truly from Charlie's song to my walking song- I heard you the entire way I walked down the aisle and your violin was singing in my ear making my steps feel confident and assured that this was really happening and I was about to marry the love of my life.
  
  You and your beautiful music brought the whole affair together in the most elegant way and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will always remember and cherish you and your band for being with us on our special day and throughout the weekend.

  My husband and I celebrated our wedding recently in our backyard, at our home in Hampton Bays. We hired a string trio ensemble from Encore music to perform during our ceremony and cocktail hour, and we were beyond pleased! Patricia Johnson, was terrific to work with, very easy to communicate with and sensitive to our needs. She helped us polish and craft a beautiful music selection of Bossa Nova, Latin tunes, classic and more. The day of the event, the musicians arrived on time, set up effortlessly and played the most perfect music for us. Our guests were so impressed and delighted as well. I highly recommend Encore Music, as a company of professional and excellent musicians! - Alejandra & Captain Andy

  We hired a string quartet for our ceremony music and the cocktail hour- through Encore Music. They played absolutely beautifully the entire time and at the right volume- just perfect. We had a DJ for our reception and we wanted to add a special touch for our ceremony. Patricia Johnson- who was my main point of contact at Encore Music and also in the string quartet- was lovely. So reliable and really partnered with our officiate and our wedding coordinator to make sure she was clear on where and when they needed to play. I highly recommend this vendor!!!

  Patricia is the sweetest person ever and the quartet did a wonderful job at our wedding. Our ceremony was so beautiful with strings, and they played exactly what we wanted, exactly they way we wanted it. We could not get enough of listening to them. Unfortunately they had to contend with poor visibility because they were blocked by the bridal party. I have to add that as violin player myself, I couldn't believe they were not watching for a cue. So when I, the bride, was about to walk in, they didn't realize they had to play "Here Comes the Bride." This held up the ceremony...
  I did think it was unfortunate that no one could hear the quartet at cocktail hour. We didn't consider that sound would disperse like that in open air and with so many people there. I do with the catering venue or the quartet provided some sort of amplification.
