Patience & Perfection
Patience and perfection are the first two words that come to mind when describing our experience with Sarah. She made everything from the planning to the execution seamless for our wedding in Hawaii. We lived in Florida throughout the planning process and she was flexible with communication with our time difference. Aside from just her skills in the plans… she also has a talent for floral arrangements. She put together stunning orchids and tropical flowers for our arch, bridesmaids, cake and table settings. Far more beautiful than any sample I had reviewed rom nearby florists. She also made it much easier than dealing with more vendors to just go through her for everything. We had a large wedding party (18ppl) and she was able to manage all our craziness with grace, kept everyone on track and on time. She even got us custom leis for 60 people and helped hand deliver them last minute and our rehearsal dinner. Everything was done with thoughtfulness and care. I really enjoyed working with her and miss talking to her daily because she is so kind! I hope that everyone gets the chance to work with Sarah! -

Sarah Aoyama is awesome!! We were in contact with Engaging Moments fairly early in our wedding planning journey, and throughout all of our communications Sarah has been transparent, kind, and in tune with what we wanted for our wedding. When I first started talking with Sarah, I had only a dim idea of what I wanted visually, and she helped bring my ragtag Pinterest board to life. We hired Engaging Moments for florals and through our various venue changes and date changes, Sarah has been continually understanding and transparent about her availability.
On the day of the wedding, she pulled off our floral vision with aplomb. I wanted something clean, bright, and classic and she delivered on all fronts. Seeing it all finally happen in real life was very moving after two years of planning. I would absolutely recommend Engaging Moments for your wedding floral needs! -

Sarah was such a joy to work with and is amazing at what she does! Sarah was our wedding coordinator and did our flower arrangements as well, she definitely went above and beyond for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. She was always so helpful in the planning process and always answered any questions we had. On the day of our wedding, I had no words for how happy I was with the way everything turned out. Everything was absolutely PERFECT! The bouquets and flowers were beautiful, Sarah and her team made sure the day went by smoothly, and ceremony + reception decor and setup were amazing. She also had assistants that helped me and our bridal party, ensuring we were okay and helping me fix my dress and veil throughout the day. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Engaging Moments to anyone planning their big day. I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator! Thank you so much, Sarah and the Engaging Moments team for making our special day perfect -

Sachi-san is the best assistant ever. Having Sarah and her team at our wedding gave us opportunity to enjoy the day without having to worry about a thing. -
User2238609 Sent on 07/23/2015Sarah was genuinely a nice, friendly coordinator who responded quickly to our emails (although she had quite a lot of spelling errors, which seemed to contradict with what all coordinators say they possess: "pays attention to detail"). We hired Sarah as our wedding coordinator because we were comfortable being with her and felt she could be trusted.
What we did not know was that she was going to have another assistant join her (whom we never met beforehand) on our wedding day. This assistant took the role of what we thought Sarah would be doing and made us and our guests feel very uncomfortable. She also did not speak English well so she kept forcing me to speak Japanese (my second language) - I really did not want to struggle with communication on our wedding day. When my sister (who spoke English) wanted to call me from a different venue where the groom and the groomsmen were getting ready, the assistant hung up the phone because she was busy and she did not seem to understand what my sister was saying. She also continued talking about her own wedding, which kept me distracted. The assistant also shook a bottle of sunscreen with the cap open before the ceremony. I saw sunscreen splatter on my wedding dress with my bridesmaids as witnesses, but the assistant claimed that nothing went on and never apologized. At this point, I was in disbelief and really wanted her to go away. But, she was assigned to stick with me the entire day so I tried to stay calm and positive. I really wish I had known that Sarah wasn't going to be the one who made sure that the bride and groom were alright. I don't know what Sarah was doing because she never came to help the bride/groom in the preparation rooms, but according to my guests, Sarah was at the reception hall controlling the music and projector. Please make sure that if there's going to be an assistant at your wedding, you meet him or her beforehand and ensure that you are okay with this assistant.
