My husband and I got married here recently and we could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our big day! From the service, to the food, to the experience everything was amazing.

Fatima was amazing to work with and she helped me every step of the way to bring my vision to life and it could not have been more perfect. I had guests tell me it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and the service was absolutely amazing. I could not recommend this place enough for your day!

We came across The Epicurean here on WeddignWire and when we saw that it was a Food & Wine themed hotel it stood out to us as foodies. When we toured the venue we were immediately impressed. We are so grateful to all the staff that accommodated us. We have both our ceremony and reception at the venue. All our guests raved about the food. Special thanks to our event coordinator Fatima who helped us every step of the way.

We started planning our wedding pre-COVID and so many things changed in the year leading up to it. We moved everything outside, we cut the guest list more than in half, etc. Nicole and the Epicurean staff were supportive and helpful through everything. Nicole answered all our questions and emails. She took us around the venue twice, and organized a menu tasting. Nicole also acted as our day-of coordinator, ensuring we kept to our schedule and everything went perfectly. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Epicurean as well, at the rooftop bar Edge where they brought dinner up to us. The food at the wedding was absolutely amazing, many guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had. The hotel is beautiful and we were able to take pictures all over the property. Overall it was the best day ever thanks to the wonderful staff and support at the Epicurean.

I cannot recommend this room enough. It was the PERFECT set up. Everything about this went smoothly. First, the room block was easy and complimentary. So that's a no brainer. Then they send an email to remind your block is almost up and will send you the guest list of who has booked, which is great if you know certain people need reminding and now you know if they did or didn't reserve a room. They also let me check in early which was perfect, provided me with all the necessary tables and extra chairs my 3 stylists needed, and allowed all my guests to be on the same floor (or not lol!) if you wanted it. I got super lucky (and recommend this for everyone). I got the queen suite, with the balcony, and it had conjoining doors into my maid of honors room. So not only did I have my private room, bathroom, living room, balcony with a couch, almost full kitchen (with a FULL SIZED FRIDGE-perfect for champagne and breakfast), but also a door that led into another room and bathroom! I had 7 bridesmaids, a flower girl, 3 cousins, 2 moms, officiant, 3 hairstylists, and constant guests walking in and out all day and no one complained. The hotel staff was amazing. They greeted you at check-in with a glass of wine! They remembered who you were at all times, and helped or checked in on your special day. They cleaned up all my confetti (which I still feel terrible about) and assisted with my 15 trips and the 4 carts I needed; and when we made reservations for Elevange, the staff was amazing and booked me 15 extra tables (since I kept inviting all my friends to brunch the next day). They also have a rooftop bar which is perfect for after wedding festivities, and it allows you to go back and forth to the after-party or your room - in case you need to de-stress, change, or sleep. Whatever you want! I cannot sing enough praise for this hotel. Definitely one of my best choices!!! Not to mention the pictures came out great!

If you are looking for quality not quantity than Epicurean is venue for you.

Loved this venue. The staff was amazing and the hotel was wonderful to work with. They were accomadating and attentive. During planning they were flexible and easy to work with. Our guests loved the atmosphere and the food!

We recently had our wedding at the Epicurean and I am so thrilled with our decision. Having toured numerous wedding venues, I was disappointed to not be finding exactly what I was looking for. Upon my first e-mail I could tell Epicurean did things differently. After our first visit we knew right away this is where we wanted to have our wedding. Throughout the process Megan and Rachel were so incredibly accommodating, super quick with responses, and overall fun/friendly people to work with. Anything we wanted done they figured out a way to make it work. Making selections at our tasting was very difficult because everything was so delicious. We had a ton of guests from out of town and everyone absolutely loved their stay at the hotel. My wedding day could not have been more perfect! Everything ran so smoothly, the garden terrace was set up SO beautifully and the food was absolutely amazing. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Epicurean is truly a treasure with excellent service, delicious food & incredible atmosphere. Trust me, you will not regret having your wedding there!

The staff at Epicurean was very accommodating in helping to plan and hold a bridesmaid luncheon I hosted recently on the Garden Terrace! On the day of the event they were very flexible in changing the bar setups to what we wanted. I'd hold an event there again!

We loved having our wedding at the Epicurean. We were blown away by the personal service from the staff, and the little touches they provided to make our event even better. We were surprised to hear that the Epicurean hosts many weddings-- because they truly made us feel like celebrity guests all weekend long! The Epicurean was also a GREAT value, considering that their decor was included and was already beautiful and perfect; we spent almost nothing on additional linens, flowers, centerpieces, or decorations, and our event ended up looking better than we had even hoped!

No concerns at all, hands down, the epitome of professionals.

Not one detail was left unturned and every meeting was completely organized and professional. Many personal extra services were provided the day of the wedding to make our out of town guests well received from out of town even during all of the Gasparilla events going on around us. Chef sent homemade vegetable broth to my bride's room all day as she was suffering from a stomach bug. Reception timeline was adhered to and we even ran ahead of schedule with many extra touches after the wedding such as meals packed up for late night dining in room. Impeccable services from front desk and all service associates at bar and restaurant as well.

Working with the staff at the Epicurean was a wonderful experience! Rachael was particularly helpful, always responding promptly to questions and requests.

Racheal and Megan made my wedding reception so easy! Racheal was my coordinator and she had so many great ideas and was able to put things together for me so easily! I think I probably would of have a mental breakdown without her. We received so many compliments that night on the location, look, and the food, everything was a hit. And for everything you get with the Epicurean, they are definitely worth it. Highly suggested. Food was delicious and they even made sure we got some throughout the night. And left us with to go boxes! Seriously. I can't recommend this location enough.

When we decided to look for venues the search began. We went from St Pete on the beach to all hotels in the Tampa Bay area. I then was reminded about The Epicurean and the moment I called to make the appointment I had a feeling this was it the search was over. We had our first meeting and never listing the hotel in the past we where amazed at our first steps inside the hotel. The staff made us feel like we where the only bodies they see. The Hotel made us light up each time we visited it and when we seen what they offered us it was perfect. The elegance, comfort and professionalism we wanted was all in front of us. This was the smoothest months and no worries for us as we planned our own wedding with Rachael and Megan holding our hands thru each step. Rachael went above and beyond any level I thought would be possible. When I asked for something either she said its done or in minutes it was done. I can not say enough good words about Rachael, Megan or any staff member at The Epicurean. If you want a easy, elegant and classy Wedding then this is your location.

The Epicurean was absolutely the perfect location for our wedding and reception. We could not have asked for a better overall experience on our big day. Megan and Rachel were absolutely phenomenal to work with, and went above & beyond their jobs to ensure everything went as planned for our celebration. The hotel was so accommodating, the staff was flexible, professional, and top notch throughout our stay and event. When the weather was not accommodating, the Epicurean staff still was; moving the cocktail hour to a indoor location without any hiccups. The food like all of the food coming out of their restaurant's kitchen was absolutely delicious. All of our guests all were shocked at how great the plated dinner at the reception was, because they'd all become accustomed to standard mediocre wedding meals. We got numerous compliments at how great the food was. Megan did every thing she could to accommodate our decorations and vendors arriving at various times prior to the ceremony and reception, including offering various items from around the hotel should we need it. Most importantly she treated us like she was planning the event for a friend or someone she cared about, making sure every detail she could control was to our liking. We cannot say enough at how tremendous the hotel was, and would not hesitate to recommend to any of our friends or family to hold their wedding or event at the Epicurean. Anyone who has planned a wedding will tell you finding vendors you trust and venue is so critical in having a stress free wedding day; Megan, Rachel, and the Epicurean hit every one of those marks. We will never forget our wedding day, and the Epicurean was a huge part of that; we'd give it 10 stars if Wedding Wire allowed us too!

We had a baby shower at the Epicurean Hotel and everyone there was beyond helpful from the moment we began planning :) It is a stunning venue with a wonderful menu and sweet staff, would definitely recommend!

Food and service was excellent!!!

After looking at numerous venues from Sarasota, Tampa and Orlando we found this gem! The staff at the Epicurean were top notch. They were extremely friendly and professional. They took a lot of stress off my back when it came to the planning process. While this is a hotel the venue is not cookie cutter. The space can be as traditional or as unique as you want. My guests raves about how nice and how unique the venue was. Oh, and did I mention the food?! This was not your typical gross wedding reception food. Everything was beautifully prepared, made from fresh ingredients and most importantly absolutely delicious!! My guests are still raving about how great the food is. I'm so glad we chose the Epicurean as our reception venue. Our reception was beautiful and everything was perfect!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Epicurean and they well exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a unique venue and even though this is a hotel their event spaces can be as unique or as traditional as you like. Christine and Rachael were a delight to work with. They took most of the stress off of me and because they are true professionals everything went so smooth on our big day. Not only is the space beautiful but the entire staff is so knowledgeable. Oh, and did I mention the food?!?! This was not your typical reception food. Everything was beautifully prepared and absolutely delclicious!! My guests all raved about how delicious the food is. My husband and I are so glad we chose the Epciurean for our reception.

The Epicurean Hotel is a perfect venue for not just lodging, but as well guest entertainment and wedding-day preparations. The suites are extraordinarily large and well appointed, making for the perfect venue for hair and makeup providers to ready the wedding party members. The staff was exceptionally accommodating, offering to bring mirrors, glassware, and any other accessories to make the day special. In advance of the wedding, the staff assisted in the setting up of the reservation block, accommodating late-reserving guests, and ensuring that welcome favors were brought to each guests room. Our guests raved at the unique boutique hotel accommodations--most notably the rooftop bar and dining options. Though we did not have our ceremony and reception at the Epicurean Hotel, its proximity to our venues in Downtown and South Tampa made it an ideal central location. We wholeheartedly recommend all aspects of the Epicurean Hotel!

I want to talk about the three characteristics that set the Epicurean apart from any other venues in Tampa.
Of all the wonderful things about the Epicurean, the staff was easily the best. Christine Hunter & Megan Humphrey were so involved and cared so much about our weekend, they felt like family. The entire hotel, from the front desk to the maintenance team and everyone in between were excited and involved in our weekend. Our guests were treated with first class service. This is a world class team.
There is no question, your guests will talk about the food at your wedding for a long, long time. Chef Chad Johnson put together an amazing menu for our station style dinner. We gave Chef our general ideas about what we liked and wanted, and he took it to the next level. Chef Chad created a menu that had classic dishes with a foodie twist, and a variety that covered southern comfort eaters to vegans and everyone in between. As a mouthwatering example: We told the team we love their Elevage Mac & Cheese, and our reception featured with a full blown Mac & Cheese bar with several amazing varieties.
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and feature all the amenities your guests could need. As for the wedding weekend itself, we utilized all the event space in the Epicurean. The theater was the site of our welcome reception, we used the ballroom to host both our wedding ceremony, and a goodbye brunch the next morning. Our post-ceremony cocktail hour took place poolside, featuring floating apps and champagne pass. Finally, the reception followed on the Garden Terrace, where we ate and danced under the beautifully lit tent. The team worked closely with us to come up with ideas to decorate and transform all the spaces to make it feel like ours. In closing, we love the Epicurean, and it will always have a special place in our hearts.

Megan was so incredibly amazing and really went above and beyond to help us! She made everything absutley perfect for our big day!!

The Epicurean Hotel was where I booked the room block for our wedding. The rooms are unique as you would expect from the honorable Berns family traditions. New, clean & artsy. The staff went above and beyond to make our guests feel comfortable and welcome. Location in Hyde Park is easily walkable to bayshore for a jog, restaurants & night life, as well as shopping in Hyde Park Village. If you are getting married in Tampa near Hyde Park keep this hotel in mind. My guests raved about this place. Especially the rooftop bar for cocktails after the wedding & restaurant for breakfast.

It was such a joy to have the Epicurean Hotel host my bridal shower. The service was wonderful and the food was exceptional. The Epicurean Hotel is the place to host any special event! I loved it, and they made my day perfect!
