My husband and I LOVED working with Erika. I had really high expectations for our wedding photographer. We feel so blessed to have had our day captured by Erika and her second shooter. She was so incredibly fun to work with and her authentic kindness made everyone she photographed feel so comfortable and relaxed. She took the time to learn everyones name, and actually remember them. She didn't just say, "hey you, come here". She is intentional about all details and made a busy day stress-free. When my friends and family looked through the photos taken by Erika, they ranted and raved about how every single one of them captured us, our loved ones, and our day perfectly. She BLEW it out of this world and worked her magic in every way. I can't say it enough but what a joy she is to work with both personally and professionally. You want her to take your pictures!

Erika was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout our wedding planning process and on our wedding day. She went above and beyond to learn about us and our vision for the day and was so personable and easy to communicate with. She was an absolute joy to share our wedding day with. Her finished products are stunning and capture the day exactly as magically as I remember it. Would recommend her to anyone!! -

Working with Erika was so amazing! She is so kind and just a ray of sunshine. She made everything so fun, easy and light. She did our engagement photos and our full wedding day. She made everything so easy. She is very accommodating, always calm and smiling! Everyone in my wedding party loved her and was so impressed by her because she literally knew everyone by name and was so kind. It is probably safe to say that we have all dealt with or seen the rude photographers at others weddings who yell, aren't very nice and really just mess up the vibe of the happy day. Erika is the complete opposite and everyone noticed! I absolutely loved having her apart of our day and cherish the beautiful pictures she captured of us! love her! -

Erika's work is always very professional, but what sets her apart from the rest is the thoughtful and meaningful experience she provides. It's clear by the way she invests time in her clients that she wants them to have a meaningful experience and anticipates their wants and needs. She makes every step of the process meaningful by providing suggestions for the best experience. For example, when my wife and I got our engagement pictures, Erika suggested we take the rest of the evening to go on a date. Erika captures the most meaningful moments and helps set the tone to create them. -

We are so happy we chose Erika as our photographer! She made the whole process smooth and stress free. She is very professional, prompt, and friendly! We felt so comfortable the day of the wedding, and she blended in with our guests while still being able to capture all our special moments. The most wonderful experience! Highly recommend!
WOW! Erika was a wonderful photographer every step of the way. She made taking our photos feel natural and not posed or awkward. (Our bridal party even commented about how comfortable they felt with her taking photos) Her photography skills are incredible and her vivacious personality made taking our engagement and wedding photos the most wonderful experience. (Just wait until you hear her laugh... its incredible!) Communication with her was great! I had so many questions and she answered them quickly. Erika cares about what you want and will do her BEST to capture every moment. Gosh... I can't think of anything bad with our experience with her. We HIGHLY recommend Erika. She was affordable and the most perfect person to capture our love. You won't be disappointed! -

After searching wedding websites and tagged wedding photographers on Instagram for countless hours, I finally came across Erika Aileen Photography on Instagram. I loved her work and was thrilled she had availability for our date! The experience literally could have not gone smoother - Erika was so on top of it and communicated regularly throughout the process. I honestly emailed her thanking her for being such "a breath of fresh air" during this stressful wedding planning process. :P On our wedding day (and engagement session), she arrived everywhere she needed to be on time and remembered the little details that so reflected my husband and I.
Based on her portfolio and the engagement photo session (which my husband and I weren't fully on board for but SOO SO happy we did it), I knew I was going to love the final photos, but receiving them was even better than we could have imagined. Words can't express how much we loved our pictures from capturing the bridal party at my parent's lakehouse (yes she travels) :) to our first dance at a winery in South Bend -- all turned out absolutely stunning!
If you are currently on the hunt for a wedding photographer and Erika has the availability, you should stop now and go with her (check it off your list)! I can wholeheartedly recommend Erika Aileen Photography to any bride and definitely recommend adding a second shooter, for some different angles which ended up being my fave! Sooo worth it!
P.S. It's been a few months and we are still getting compliments on our wedding photos at our family parties/gatherings! The best! -

Karin Sent on 12/07/2017Erika does an amazing job. Not only is she an extremely talented photographer that gets the perfect shot, but she is kind, genuine, excitable, and SO fun. Erika takes time to get to know (with me it was over coffee!) and understand you. This way, she can capture the memories that are most important to you, add the flavor that fits your style best, and make you comfortable the whole time. She's also super creative - she came up with ideas and locations based on my suggestions and requests, and although I've seen many of her wedding photos, each wedding is completely unique. Another thing I appreciate is that she is great at suggesting poses and directing a wedding party or family members. Erika is very organized, but is totally able to be flexible when needed. I have continually been amazed by her character and her work!

She was actually the very first vendor I booked! From the time we booked her until well after she delivered our photos, she was nothing but a pleasure. Her attention to detail, infectious joy, and incredible talent with a camera, made us feel at ease and she captured our day so perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer or experience!

I loved that she took time to truly get to know us as a couple and our vision for the wedding. Prior to the wedding, Erika asked me what my hope was for the wedding day photography. I told her that my hope would be to capture beautiful, elegant, romantic, and timeless photos that we would treasure for a lifetime. When we received my photos back from Erika, we were absolutely blown away! Each photo so beautifully captured all of the emotion, excitement, joy, and natural fun of the day. Our photos transport us back to all of the precious moments and feelings of the day.

Amy Sent on 12/14/2017Erika was seriously amazing. Not only is she very talented, but she is also the absolute sweetest person. She is extremely professional, and catered to our needs as a couple. I found the whole process of getting married to be a bit stressful, but coordinating the arrangements with Erika, getting the engagement pictures done, and the actual wedding day was all a bit easier because of her. I cannot even begin to describe my appreciation for her organization, as I didn't have a wedding planner and she majorly assisted me in a lot of the wedding day timeline planning. In addition, she truly went above and beyond when it came to editing the wedding pictures, and I cannot thank her enough for that. I would absolutely recommend Erika to anybody looking for a talented and laid back (but gets the job done!) photographer.

She is easy to work with, so very kind, professional, and talented.
