    Erika is a photography ninja. She captured the most amazing shots without disrupting a single moment of the wedding. Both my mother and my mother-in-law commented on how they didnt notice her at the time, yet we've seen stunning photos of the ceremony. Her style highlights the natural beauty of the day and she is sure to capture all the small, detailed touches. Erika was flexible with my timeline and open to my ideas for different shots, all while maintaining a sense of professionalism, humor, and poise. She was the perfect addition to my wedding day as I'm sure she will continue to be for many others!

    Erika was absolutely fantastic to work with! I scoured for moths trying to find the perfect photographer and she captured our day beautifully! I wanted magazine worthy photos and I am absolutely in LOVE! My husband said I've never looked more happy, stunning, at ease, and breathtaking. :)

    Erika has a easy fun personality that immediately makes you feel like a friend, and that made the whole experience even better. I truly feel like our day could not have been captured better! I love all the wonderful wedding blogs like wedding chicks, style me pretty, love and lavender, etc. and I truly feel like Erika captured my inspiration perfectly.

    I was super excited to receive a sneak peek the day after the wedding! Then, a super sweet blog post and A gorgeous leather album. It is to DIE for!!! Can't tell you how much we loved her. Overall, great energy, gorgeous photos, easy to work with, and super sweet!

    If you want photos like you see in the magazines, you need to use her!

    Erika is the most AMAZING photographer that I have ever had the pleasure meeting and taking my pictures. She has an uncanny knack for making you feel completely at ease and beautiful. Not only does she make you feel beautiful and special, she takes the time to get to know you and individualize your photo shoot to meet your personality. Taking your picture is not just a paycheck for her, she actually cares about you and you can really tell. She is fun, funny and fantastic! I had such a wonderful experience with her that I absolutely cannot imagine wanting to go anywhere else!!

    Erika was very professional and yet it felt like she was part of the wedding party. She seemed to blend in with crowd and her pictures showed she was every where that I wanted to be. We loved having her take pictures of our wedding!

    My husband and I were extremely pleased with the professionalism and attention to detail we got from Urban Edge Studios. We never felt rushed or stressed during the picture taking process. We got the shots we knew we wanted and Erika had some great ideas for shots as well.

    Erika was great to work with she made me feel very comfortable during my shoot. I had a lot of fun as well. Overall I had a great experience and loved my photos.

    We were lucky enough to find the best photographer in the west! Erika was very accommodating to all of our requests, while at the same time sharing her great ideas with us. Her unique style of photography made for some stunning pictures. She took the time to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted and delivered perfectly. She has excellent packages available that allowed us to get an engagement photo session as well, which was obviously amazing as well. We would recommend her to anyone, and we are convinced she really is the best.

    Urban Edge Studios did a wonderful job with our engagement and wedding photos!! We love our pictures and memories we have to look back on! We will definetly refer to Urban Edge Studios for future events! Plus, the photographer Erika is exceptionally personable & charming, very easy to be around!

    Incredibly talented photographer who made my photo shoot relaxed, but as others have mentioned, I was really disappointed in the lack of communication from her. You need to shoot her tons of emails to get responses, and when you are told things are "in the mail" they obviously are not (as they never show up and you have to send reminder emails).

    If you like her style, use her, but know up front that there will most likely be some issues with communication. She is, as I said, incredibly talented (and sweet).

    I did a boudoir photo session with Erika in March so I could give the pictures to my husband on our wedding day. Our wedding was in June so I figured I had plenty of time to get the pictures done since Erika says on her website that it usually takes a month to get your pictures back. The package I ordered included a little black book of photos and a DVD of 50 images. The shoot went great and I loved the pictures she put up on her online gallery. We picked out the pictures for my book, by this time it was about a month after the shoot since she routinely takes about a week to respond to any questions through email. I waited and waited for my book and finally two weeks before the wedding emailed to ask where it was. She had forgotten to order it. She did a special rush job at the printer's and it came literally the day before we left for our destination wedding. Needless to say I was very stressed out that it wouldn't come in time and was pissed that I had to basically chase her down to get my photos.

    I wondered if my DVD of pictures would ever come in the mail, but honestly with our wedding and at-home reception later that summer I didn't have the time or energy to chase her down again for the DVD. In September I emailed to request that she send the DVD that was part of my package. She emailed that it was no problem and would send it right out to me. No apology that it was never sent or anything. A month later I still hadn't received it so I emailed her again asking if she had sent it. She never replied to that email.
    ETA: Literally the day after I wrote this review I got the DVD in the mail with more than 50 images on it. So there's that.

    She will do anything for money & chase any man.

    Avoid this individual

    Erika Nicole - chases any man, avoid her at all costs, she doesn’t care if they are married or who she tries to hurt. A desperate, single low life with no morals.
    Don’t book her for weddings or couple shots.

    I got married on 9/20/14, (14 month ago) at King Estate Winery as a destination wedding. Erika Nicole was my photographer, I chose her because she was highly recommended by King Estate. I want to give Erika credit for helping us decide on a location for our rehearsal dinner. Since we were from out of town we needed help with that. Up until the day of the wedding we had a decent amount of contact. I had given her ideas of what I wanted and made a list of pictures I wanted her to take. The day of, she showed up and immediately started talking about herself and what she would do at her wedding. Which basically set the tone for the rest of the day. As most of you know our wedding day is a whirlwind and I was really hoping she would take charge and tell me what to do. The only photos that I have seen are the photos of the bridal party and some of the ceremony. I don't have a photo with my family, or a photo of my mom and dad. I Had a small amount of people so I wanted to get a photo of the entire group. These are things that are important to me and I didn't get any of it. My husband and I have emailed and called her repeatedly. If we lived near her, we would be knocking at her door every day if we had to. I have only received my "sneak peek" photos from her but I have not received the "800" she quoted in the contract on a disc. The last time I had contact with her was December of last year (so about a year ago) I begged her to get me some photos so I could give my parents some photos as xmas presents. The weird thing about all of this is that her business website and Facebook page are expired. I am really worried about this. We payed her thousands of dollars for a few pictures.

    If you like not having any communication when planning your wedding, and are happy to wait 18-24 months minimum for your photos, then I would suggest booking her. I began emailing Erika in early Spring 2013. She was so responsive and nice, I drove an hour away to meet up with her and booked her. She worked out a package that met my budget and included everything I was looking for. I had read about the awards she had won and looked at her work on her website and blog and loved it. After I booked her the communication was horrible, she wouldn’t reply to emails until you sent it at least three times, and she always seemed to have an excuse of why she wasn’t getting in touch with you. When we finally connected to set up an engagement shoot, she showed up on time but I was disappointed in her lack of knowledge. My pictures turned out okay, but there were things that I would expect a professional photographer to catch, like when hair was misplaced or I had my watch on that she should have told me to taken off. Shirts weren’t tucked in that should have been, I would expect a photographer to notice things that make pictures better like that. During my 6 month engagement it was extremely hard to nail down a wedding timeline with her due to her severe lack of communication. We finally agreed on when she would show up and how long she would stay and that she would bring a second photographer as per our contract (and my extra money). She showed up to the wedding on time and brought her mother as the second photographer, which would have been great except her mother didn’t take any photos. She had a camera around her neck but you can tell by the pictures that there was only one angle, and you can see her mother sitting down in the back row of the ceremony not taking a single photo. That was extremely disappointing. I did not receive all my photos until 2 years after my wedding.
