Boy oh boy was I a beautiful bride. That's a special thanks to Mrs. Debbie and Eunice. Mrs Debbie was so amazing from the very start. Every visit and every call, she made sure she took very good care of me. When it was time for my alterations, Eunice definitely understood the assignment. She knew before I could tell her exactly what I wanted. My favorite part of the experience with Eunice was the bustling of my dress. She said she wanted to make it look like a flower and oh my goodness, that's exactly what she did. Thank you so much ladies for making my day so special and making me feel like a beautiful bride. -

I had an appointment at Davids bridal right after my first with Estelle's and I ended up not even going to Davids. I tried on the first dress which i liked but i wasn't impressed. Then i tried on the second dress! This was the one! I got all those butterflies people say you get. I was so excited. They have great prices and i didn't have to break the bank to get this dress. -
User1996922 Sent on 01/05/2015I went here for my second attempt at dress shopping. They accept walk-ins even on the weekends. The attendants are very patient and helpful. I was there for over 2 hours and my attendant was as patient as a saint. She walked the racks with me, and then came to my dressing room with suggestions of her own. She even geared some of the choices to combine the styles I liked, with the styles the Moms liked. There was a rack of Sale samples, but even their regular priced gowns were at affordable prices.
I ended up getting my dress elsewhere, but We had such a good experience with the service, we went back to get my mother her dress for the wedding. She was thrilled by the selection of Mother of the Bride gowns. -

As a well-endowed woman, I'm so lucky to have found them after shopping all over LI and Queens for dresses that I could try on (and not be clipped into and have to imagine the rest). Excellent selection with new stock always coming in for ladies in all shapes/sizes. They were wonderful from start to finish between my bridal gown and the bridesmaid dresses! Thank you, thank you to Estelle's for making it so easy to love you!! -

Rachel Sent on 12/28/2015I've been to Estelle's a few times to try on wedding dresses. Each time, I have had a different experience. Twice, I went and the saleswoman made me feel a little uncomfortable, pressuring me towards dresses that didn't look wonderful on me. So, I was really hesitant to return, but decided to do so. Well, I am so glad that I decided to come back! I returned two more times and was helped by two fantastic salespeople. Lisa especially has a very warm presence (not too salesy at all) and could tell when I really loved a dress and when I wasn't crazy about a dress. She even helped convince my mother to be more open to MY tastes, which is hard since my mother is set in her own ways. Lisa is a real expert when it comes to fashion. Maybe she was just telling me what I wanted to hear, but it seemed like she really understood me—my personality, what looks good on me, how I want to look and feel on my big day. If there was anything negative about my more recent experiences, it was that the really good associates were a little TOO attentive. I wanted to spend some time searching the whole store for dresses, since I am looking for something REALLY specific. They wouldn't let me look around for long enough...instead, they explained to me why I needed to start trying on dresses and not keep looking. I would have liked just a little more freedom to browse, since the store has such a huge selection and that's largely why I went there. All in all, it is DEFINITELY worth a visit, especially if you are looking for a larger selection than a small bridal boutique. They also have a lot of sale sections, including 1/2 off and $99 dresses! :) -

Giselle Sent on 06/10/2015My mom brought me to this store so we could look for her dress. We were disappointed that they pretty much only had ole lady dresses in her size, but I ended up finding my wedding shoes there. It is quite a large store with ample parking and we literally wandered around looking at dresses (for the rehearsal dinner and bridal shower---or even just for the summer) as well as undies and shoes. I found the bridal section and in the end, bought a lovely bolero to go with my dress. Debbie was super nice and very helpful. I had been referred to a ballroom dancing store for comfortable shoes, but those were running over $200 and I found a great pair of shoes here for less than $40. I have been wearing them and breaking them in and there are still pretty comfy. I would recommend getting here early on a weekend (we went on a Sunday) and packing a bit of patience. Definitely try stuff on before leaving and examine all clothing item scrupulously (especially the ones on sale-which might be worth buying if you can do a little sewing)....Happy shopping. -

Dan Sent on 11/03/2012It sure didn't hurt to take a look! I guess I got lucky, it was the first place i went to to look for a dress and i wound up getting the second dress i tried on! Defintely don't judge a dress by how it looks on the hanger! After I put in on i had my aha moment and fell in love! And I got so many compliments from the dress too. Very elegant dress. I took it for alterations to a lady named Lina in Wantagh, NY. She is an expert as soon as i put the dress on for her she started pinning right away and had my dress fitting me perfectly and she worked quickly too! -
User1531232 Sent on 02/10/2014Yes, they have a large selection but that is about it- so many negatives-staff is sooo rude and they speak another language right in front of you. The dressing rooms are awful-lots of room but so small and can't they afford better curtains? Also, if you want another size in the same dress you have to get dressed all over again because there is no staff to assist you. The staff at the registers act like they are doing you a big favor by taking your money and you should thank the staff instead of the other way around. The dresses are so close together on the racks that it is nearly impossible to see what the dress looks like. Look over the merchandise very carefully since many of the dresses that have bling on them are damaged.

Karla Sent on 06/19/2018This place is horrible they took $375 dollars as a deposit for a bridal dress that i was going to buy but when i got there it did not fit and the manager got very upset and yelled at me and told me to go home and lose weight so i can fit into the dress because they can not exchange it and refused to give me back my deposit and wanted me to pay for the rest and take the dress that did not fit. This place is still in business only because they like to F*%# over people and steal their money. -

We ordered dresses here for my cousins wedding-which i was very weary about since we ve had trouble with estelle s in the past (there employee was very snotty to my mom about a dress). I went back today to exchange my dress for another size since I just had a baby and I afraid the dress won t fit in time for the wedding. The girl that helped us said that since the dresses were special order we can exchange them anytime if we need different sizes. I went back today and was told NO! - they said there policy is that all exchanges must happen within 5 days and they refused to order me another dress- they found my size on the floor but the dress was filthy and ripped- they still refused to order me another dress. The store should take responsibility for their employees telling us incorrect information but instead they treated me like crap! The girls were snotty and rude and I will never shop in that store again! Not to mention the store itself is disgusting- it s so disorganized and please don t get me started about the employees. I shouldn t have to stand there waiting to be helped and listening to you having a conversation in spanish while you re working! Speak English at work- The Store is just so trashy!! My mistake for ever shopping in such a low budget ghetto store to begin with!!!!!
