  Makeup artist

  I scheduled with Ruth to do my makeup for my beach wedding, kind of last minute. I am 46 years old and was so nervous about my wedding. I just wanted to look beautiful. I had never had a professional do my makeup. Ruth made the process so easy and said she would come to where I was staying. The day before the wedding she contacted me to verify my address and then to let me know that she had been injured and was not going to be able to do my makeup. She said that Vanessa was filling in for her and reassured me that Vanessa would make me beautiful. I really appreciated her professionalism. She didn’t put any unnecessary stress on me by telling me that she couldn’t do the job. She just found a replacement. And she was correct! Vanessa did an amazing job! She made me look beautiful and she made sure that i still looked like ME! She asked me what colors I liked and how I did my makeup. I am so impressed with Vanessa and Ruth. What a fabulous team!

  Ruthy is the best! My wedding party showed up all at once, but she pulled it together and got everyone's hair done early. My makeup was flawless the whole day, as was my hair! She made sure everyone was beautiful amd that I was happy. Thank you for making my day beautiful!!!

  I just love Ruthy! She was so helpful and did an AMAZING job on all of our hair. She was also extremely flexible, as my headcount kept changing at the end - I ended up adding several additional people (sister in laws, mother of the groom) and was able to accommodate the additional girls with ease. I absolutely LOVED my hair - any functions that I go to from now on that require an updo, I'm calling Ruthy!

  She was amazing, so professional, on time, very flexible, and helpful with picking out my look and dealing with almost 12 bridesmaids/ mother of the bride. Her work was beautiful and lasted from 10:00 am until past 11:00 pm. HIGHLY recommend using Ruth!!

  I loved my hair and makeup from Eternal Elegance! I did a practice session with them before my wedding day to plan my look. I didn't have many ideas, but Ruth and the makeup artist both floored me on the first try. Ruth created such a beautiful design with my hair that I didn't even think was possible! After that I knew I made the right choice. The day of the wedding Eternal Elegance was prompt and worked within our timeline to do hair and makeup for 5 of us. Each bridesmaid had a different style and most importantly each of them felt and looked beautiful! My hair and makeup lasted all day in the heat and was perfect for me.   Ruthy and her team are amazing! They helped with my wedding where there were 17 girls that needed hair and makeup! She set the schedule, followed the schedule, and we got done early! I would highly recommend Eternal Elegance for any wedding or event.

  We had a great experience with Ruth Finch and team for our wedding in downtown Wilmington! I've never liked it when I've gotten my hair professionally styled, so I had a trial with her in advance. She was able to match the trial style perfectly, and I was so happy with it. I had a large wedding party and almost everyone wanted hair and/or makeup. Ruth and the stylists came to our venue to get us ready, and it was a relaxing, fun morning. Everyone had a unique hairstyle, and the pictures were beautiful!!

  Good service

  I usually don’t like to write negative things but I have to be honest. Ruth was great with my hair but the makeup artist that came caked my makeup on so much and my eyes were so dark that I went up and took it all off before my beach wedding. I shower her a photo of what I wanted to look like but it was way too much for a beach wedding, I mean we sweat out there, I don’t need all that foundation and my eyeshadow was so dark, I just couldn’t.
  The positive was my hair looked great and Ruth did a great job with it. I ended up putting it up all the way due to the heat and everyone commented on how nice it looked. Great job Ruth, unfortunately the makeup portion not so much.

  The Eternal Elegance crew did a wonderful job styling my and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding day. They were willing to come to us bright and early to create eight beautiful hairstyles for my morning wedding.
