We had our wedding here and the owner is very nice and makes sure to answer any and all questions. -

User2549215 Sent on 03/07/2016Hilda and Margarita are amazing to work with. Hilda exceeded all my expectations and did an amazing job with the decorating. My lucky number is 13 and she was able to put a 13 designed flower arrangement in the gazebo, 13 candle holders on my bridal party table, 13 mason jars with baby's breathe and other such things. I loved everything about it! I would definitely recommend using Evanshire Gardens for venue, floral and food... oh and the food! The food was absolutely amazing. You get do a tasting of everything on the menu so you can decide what you would like. We did two entrees, best options ever. -
User1214234 Sent on 06/24/2013I had an amazing outdoor wedding at this place. It was perfect. The people that I worked with were amazing. They were very helpful and they did everything to make my wedding day perfect. They took a lot of the wedding planning stress off of me. They took care of all of my ceremony décor and they set up the reception. All I had to bring were the centerpieces. Everything has a price though but the cost of the wedding was reasonable. I had an amazing wedding and I wouldn't change a thing. I loved it and all of my guests loved it! -

We are definitely pleased with our ceremony and reception and would recommond this venue as a must see at the very least when your in the process of visiting prospective wedding venues. User1204557 Sent on 06/17/2013I am very happy with mine and my husbands choice of a wedding venue! Evanshire gardens is a very beautifully kept garden venue perfect for the wedding we imagined! The old and tall trees shade the venue nicely and provide protection from wind, a must for an outdoor venue. The coordinator and the florist work very well together and they set up the place exactly how I wanted even putting together a beautiful photo display, they built it and set it up, I only provided the pictures! They were able to understand the exact vibe I was going for and added sweet little touches that made everything come together! The food was also wonderful and the tasting event they offed in March helped us choose what items we liked and it gave us peace knowing that the the food was delicious! The only issue I had was that I gave them the timeline my Groom and I wanted to go by and I gave the same ones out to the photographers but the DJ was unable to make our rehearsal so I gave the extra to the coordinator. When the actual day came it seemed as though the only ones who were following the timeline were the photographers and thankfully they took it upon themselves to help out the DJ and and save the party! Don't count on them to run the timing for your reception would be my advise but you can count on them to provide a beautiful venue and GREAT food! One last word, they are so kind and pleasant to work with, very sweet and helpful! Thanks!! -
User1972116 Sent on 12/16/2014We went here to hear about the venue. It is absolutely gorgeous and so many options open. Very clean and very professional. The only problem is how pricey it is compared to other places we have looked at.
Service was excellent though and they are very helpful and it felt as though they would make the big day so much smoother and stress free as much as they could -

Brenda Sent on 09/23/2010Its a great place don't get me wrong but its expensive for Mornign Wedding and reception that we had there weren't to flexiable with us they are very picky about what you have Favors and Decorations wise don't allow other Catering to come they use there own. -

We booked Evanshire in July 2023– Nada was the manager at the time. In March, I reached out to Nada via text. I received a response from a lady named Tanya saying she was the manager. She stated she didn’t have my contact information. She wanted to meet, so we agreed to meet. Rehearsal- we went in early to drop off items. We went through with Tanya the items to be iced, as she told us they would provide the ice for the drinks & make sure the table was set up for our rehearsal, as well as the buckets and flutes we provided. She confirmed everything would be ready to go when we returned in the afternoon. I asked her if she could also turn the fountain on, which she said yes. When we arrived at 3:30, nothing was set up- no waters on ice, no champagne on ice- nothing. A groundskeeper was on site, while Tanya was no where to be found. The fountain was also off, & the pool water was stagnate & dirty. Tanya arrived after 4 pm. l went into her office around 4:25 to pay for an umbrella. She said, ”How much longer? The rehearsal is only supposed to be an hour. I have to go. Sam can lock up.” We had spent an entire hour of what should have been rehearsing, setting up ice & trying to get the things she promised set up. I told her it should be no later than 5:30. I also asked what time she would be in for the wedding, as there were vendors arriving. She said she would be in by 11:30. Wedding day- Two vendors arrived a little before 12, & the gate was locked. Tanya arrived 3 minutes before 12, let them in, & went straight to her office without instructing them where to go. They were two separate vendors that did not know each other, but said they felt she was rude. I arrived at 12:05 & again, nothing was done; drinks were not on ice, and the flowers were supposed to be removed from the arch. Also, the gate for the vendors and disabled family members was locked, so it caused delay. After the ceremony, we wrapped up photos as our limo awaited. My sister asked Tanya when we could come back the next day & pick up our belongings- Tanya said it had to be out now. Mind you, it was 5:15 & finishing photos. She said that she would throw away everything left if it wasn’t cleared by 5:30. Not once did she specify a cleanup time, nor did our contract state that. I asked her why I couldn’t come back and pick things up, as she never communicated about item removal, & it wasn’t in our contract. She said that my sister “disrespected” her, so “no.” I let her know I could be back early before the event and can get everything out— she said, “No I don’t want you to come back. Your sister rubbed me the wrong way.” I said she had nerve saying that, because from the ice not being prepared that day & the day before, to the not communicating effectively with myself & vendors, it has been a bad experience. I also let her know she did not try to communicate effectively about getting items out of the suites or the aisle decor, & nothing was in our contract about it. At that point, my family were all rushing to get items loaded. She said, “I did the ice as a favor to you, I didn’t have to do any of that!” I said, “Why didn’t you just tell me to bring ice when I asked?” She then said, “You know what, it’s your special day & I don’t want to ruin it, but you’re going to start turning me into an a**h*le.” She then stated that we need to “get our sh** & go.” I let her know I was recording her. She began saying she was now calling the police and to get off her property.
