    Mandy Phalen with Event Studio is such a blessing to have when you are planning a wedding! She was always on time, organized and kept me on schedule while getting contracts with my vendors. She is the ONLY reason my wedding was so beautiful and my husband and I cannot thank her enough!!

    Event Studio (and Jayme in particular) was amazing! I honestly don't think I would have maintained my sanity had she not been so wonderful. I didn't have to worry about a thing and trusted her to get everything done and done right. I hired her to do the "Final Steps" of our wedding, which was great, but regret not having them more involved in the bigger picture planning.

    From start to finish, event studio was doing their very best to make the wedding the day of my dreams. I could always get in touch with them and never worried if anything was being left out. They really know what they are doing and I would not change a thing!

    Jayme Dean was amazing! She helped make our wedding day go so smoothly! She was so organized and on top of things the day of the wedding that my husband and me neither one had an stress and could enjoy the whole day!

    Mandy and the whole staff at Event Studios were wonderful to me and my whole family. They took every idea that I had and made the whole day seem like it was out of my dreams. The day (and weekend) was exactly what I had asked for and every detail was taken care of. If something went wrong, I still have no idea, because the whole weekend was smooth and easy. I can say with ease that I was a bride that enjoyed every minute of my wedding day without worring about anything. It was because of the staff at Event Studio that I got to see my dream wedding. Thank you!!!

    I recommend Jayme Dean with Event Studio to any and all women who are planning their wedding. I am a very organized person who just needed some help with execution. Jayme went above and beyond the call of duty. Her recommendations were all wonderful and our wedding was amazing. We would have easily paid double for the quality of service that she provided.
    She is excellent at helping you select exactly what will make your day perfect...and have it at a good value.
    Jayme also went above and beyond one month following our wedding. Unfortunately, my mom passed away exactly one month after we were married. Jayme helped to coordinate the beautiful flowers at the church and many other minor details....As far as I am concerned, she gives the best service money can buy.

    Event Studio was great to work with. Susan had great recommendations of vendors that fit within our budget and style. She and Lindsey were so easy-going yet thorough an professional at the same time. They were so flexible when we ended up changing our venue mid-stream. They went to great lengths to get the job done....even climbing over fences when our reception site couldn't get the lock on the gates open! They were great at giving advice on where to cut things when necessary to stay on budget. I can't imagine not having them there on my wedding day. It was such a relaxing and stress free day for me because I knew that they had everything under control at the church and reception site. The reception was everything I had hoped for and then some.

    Hiring Event Studio was one of the best decisions we made for my wedding. Our wedding coordinator made the planning process very smooth and allowed me to really enjoy my wedding day without having to stress about the small details.

    The Event Studio staff are very wonderful ladies. They have great personalities, and are very easy to work with. Susan did a great job with vendor referrals and helping me to bring my vision for my wedding day to a reality.

    Mandy was a delight to work with throughout the planning process and helped me understand the steps needed to plan my wedding during the many months in advance. I opted for the partial planning package so I did most of the booking of vendors etc. on my own, with her advice on who to go with. Mandy was very helpful in the invitation selection and in the days leading up to the wedding, and the day of. Her advice on vendors was great and I love my florist, photographer, videographer, band, and ceremony musicians.
    The main value was her advice on vendors and her providing me a framework for how to budget and organize the process, as well as the presence of her company throughout the day of my wedding.

    I don't' like to write negative reviews unless I feel that it is absolutely warranted. I think it's better say nothing if you don't have anything nice to say. In fact, I already shared these things with Event Studio in an attempt to resolve our issues but was not satisfied. So in this case I think it is important to share my less than ideal experience with my wedding planner Jayme Dean of Event Studio to help other couples.

    We hired Jayme to provide “final steps” services for our wedding - her references gave great reviews. We were organized in planning most of our wedding and wanted her to execute our ideas and plans in the final weeks leading up to, and on the wedding day. One quote on the Event Studio website stood out for us: "I consider myself a good planner and a super detailed person, so I was looking for someone who could take my general ideas and desire for perfection and run with it – I was not disappointed.” This is the position that we found ourselves in when hiring Jayme. We are two busy lawyers, but also very detailed planners who wanted someone to run with our ideas. We were ultimately disappointed with Jayme’s services.

    Jayme did have some strengths - she recommended my makeup lady and helped with the cake and transportation services. she is a pleasant person with a great attitude. She let us store wedding items at her house which was very helpful. She also stepped in during the reception and help with some things that were outside her job description.

    However, in contrast to the advertised concern with detail, we found Jayme consistently missing both major and minor details. We more than adequately prepared Jayme to assist us on our wedding day and were clear about our wishes. We emailed and printed off lists and documents for her to refer to and believe her job should have been straightforward.

    Despite our preparation, we do not feel that Jayme delivered what was promised, in fact she seemed generally unprepared for the day; she did not exert any leadership at the rehearsal, ceremony or reception. She did not inspire confidence in us or our families. We would expect that for the amount of money we paid that Jayme would exercise the level of care and attention that she would for the wedding of a close friend or family member. Jayme just seemed "lost" for most of the weekend.

    There were lots of little things that Jayme missed, which is sad because essentially the reason we hired her (including forgetting to order sandwiches for the wedding party and family for the day of the wedding) and a few big ones (not knowing there were supposed to be flowers on the trees at the ceremony and letting the florist leave, not coordinating the reception clean up which we indicated was most important). There's no need to list everything. Suffice it to say we were disappointed with the service and can't recommend her to other brides and grooms.

    Ultimately while Jayme added some value to the day I wish we would have hired someone else or taken care of things ourselves.

    I thought it was going to alleviate so much stress the final week before the wedding to have someone else come in and just make sure everything went smoothly but I thought wrong. During our meeting the week before the wedding we gave her all of the contracts and contacts and phone numbers. I am an extremely detailed and organized person and made sure she had everything she could possibly need. During that last week I got at least 3 emails per day asking about a person, vendor, time, or phone number all of which I had given her had she bothered to look at any it. I don't have the kind of job where I am at a desk and I cannot use my cell phone unless I step outside the building. It was a major hassle having to answer all of her questions and I was very frustrated. We asked her to determine how the seating for the ceremony would be and to find us a cake stand. She never did anything with the seating so thank goodness the venue stepped in and handled that and we just had to guess how many chair sashes we needed for the isle seats (and we arranged for those ourselves since she hadn't given us a price as of two days before the wedding). Also we hoped she would handle finishing touches on decorating and make sure everything looked nice but our florist saved the day and made our ceremony area look beautiful. It just seemed like she made everything more difficult and we should have just done the rest ourselves. Save your money and use it on a honeymoon!
