  Best. DJ. Ever.

  Shawn Whittemore with Event Teams Entertainment was the absolute best DJ/MC we could have ever asked for!!! If we could give 10 stars, we would! He was the DJ at our wedding in June 2022, and he was so charismatic, helpful, and overall a phenomenal person and DJ. He handled the dances, ceremony, individual intros for our bridal party, reception, and even our departure from the venue with cold sparklers and all. From our first inquiry, he was so kind, helpful and responsive to every question we had (not to mention his patience with working with two indecisive med students!) When the day finally arrived, we had full confidence that Shawn would help us throw the party of our lives, and boy did he deliver!! We danced all night- literally! (we ended up paying for an extra hour just to keep the party going!). Shawn was a master at keeping guests entertained throughout the entire reception and all our guests kept commenting on how great he was. He also provided beautiful uplighting that helped set the mood on the dance floor as well as cold sparklers for our send off. 10/10 recommend Shawn at Event Teams Entertainment! He made our day beyond special and we had an absolute blast!!!

  Jesse Bearden with Event Team Entertainment was a fantasic DJ to work with. We met on multiple occasions leading up to our wedding to share an understanding of the music and experience we wanted to provide. Jesse knocked it out of the park with his song selection and performance. He included specific songs we asked him to play, as well as added many that fit the mood perfectly. He was very courteous, professional and a lot of fun to work with. The entire experience was excellent and I highly recommend this company to anyone needing a great DJ.

  Shawn Whittemore with Event Team Entertainment was hands down the best choice of vendor for our big day. From our first detailed meeting, to every single need we had throughout planning, Shawn was quick to respond, extremely organized and on top of everything for our wedding. Shawn helped us create an outline for our entire wedding day, down to the minute of what was to happen. He has so many wonderful ideas and insight from years of experience, to help make your special day run smoothly and efficiently. Shawn never once was stressed or overwhelmed. He greeted all of our needs with happy smile; making us feel comfortable and excited about our wedding day.
  
  A few things that sets Event Team Entertainment apart from the rest:
  - You are not just getting a DJ, you are getting an MC for your reception. You are in good hands!
  - They will be there to prep all sound needs at the rehearsal, then will record your entire wedding ceremony for you to keep forever
  - They have an amazing Photo Booth that you can rent; our favorite pictures from the reception came from here!
  - They will take the time to have extra meetings with my mother who wanted to be in the loop ;)
  - They take the lead throughout the reception to make sure everything is running on time.
  - They throw in some special surprises for the bride and groom....don't want to spoil the fun for future brides, but Shawn and his team created some unique memories for us that we'll never forget!

  Jesse did an excellent job providing the entertainment for our wedding. From selecting music introducing speakers and keeping the energy going Jesse was wonderful Jesse also provided addition sound support during the ceremony. We had family skyping in from Mexico and New York and Jesse made it all happen. He even made sure the guest connected with the remote attendees during the reception.

We had people dancing nonstop until after midnight!! He is incredibly easy to work with - very prompt to respond on all communications, super organized, and of course talented. I knew that when we hired Shawn, I did not have to worry about ANYTHING, I knew we were in good hands. He takes the time to outline all aspects of the timeline, while really caring about the couple's wants and incorporating that perfectly into the day. Hands down, one of the best vendors we hired and so happy we went with Shawn - great entertainment is so crucial to your wedding day and reception - and Shawn definitely made ours!!!

  Shawn provides the most amazing container and ambiance for weddings by his own personality and experience. I was lucky to run across Shawn for my first daughter’s wedding and his input to a very inexperienced mother of the bride was simply invaluable… everything went off without a hitch, beyond our expectation. He provides more than music ..he can helps to create and make happen the exact thing you have in your head and the feelings you want to create.
  As soon as my second daughter became engaged Shawn was the first person my husband called to make sure their dates would match up. Shawn adds class and playfulness and fun and gets the crowd joyfully into whatever is going on… I cannot recommend him enough! If I had 10 daughters I would hope to have Shawn there for them all.
