    Great service, super friendly staff, responsive and really easy to work with. Everything was delivered and picked up on-time. We rented farm tables, runners, plates, glasses, chairs and arch and everything was in great condition.     They took care of everything

    We worked with Krista from EventMasters, and she was wonderful. We changed our orders on her so many times, and she was the epitome of patience (although I wouldn't be surprised if she was secretly yelling at us every time we sent her a new email). The rentals all arrived on time, were unloaded in a quick manor (although we did have to carry all the chairs ourselves because the truck couldn't go up the hill, I wish the men could have at least helped us), and were picked up effortlessly.

    Krista was great, and I would definitely work with her again.

    Great rental company with affordable prices and efficient servicey

    EventMasters provided the chairs, tables, and audio for our ceremony at Gatekeeper's Museum. They were one of the best vendors we dealt with, very professional and responsive, which can be hard to find in Tahoe. They are flexible about adding and subtracting items and had a large inventory to choose from.

    Kay at Eventmasters was a pleasure to work with. They had all the rentals we could possibly need for the wedding - and were extremely helpful in figuring how much of what we needed. They were also extremely flexible in dealing with the numerous changes to our order up until the last day. The delivery was on time and they helped get all set up. It definitely gave me one less thing to worry about on the day of my wedding.

    Do not trust these people with your wedding

    DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR WEDDING. Their service was absolutely despicable, but worst than that, they (the owner Rich Wilson in fact) DID NOT CARE when we voiced our grievances or make any attempt to make amends. Let me explain.

    To preface things, we set up our event 2 months ahead of time. On a Tuesday, 4 days before the wedding, I received a voicemail from someone named Christa, asking if we could change our pickup date from Monday to Tuesday. I called back and left a message explaining we could not, as it was a rental house. No one called me back, so I had to take the initiative to make a second call in order to explain the situation. Christa suggested that perhaps they could pick it up the evening of the wedding instead. This was certainly an inconvenience, as I knew I might need to rush my guests and wedding party to clear tables, but I agreed to have the rental equipment picked up "after 7 o' clock."

    The day of wedding, I have not heard anything from them, and I have no idea when they are going to arrive. I call to get a voicemail and no call back. I wait an hour and call again. Nothing. Finally, they arrive within the timeframe and explain that we will need to set everything else up ourselves—they aren’t even going to help carry the equipment.
    Come our wedding night, things are running very late, and as 7pm is drawing near, I realize we haven't even served the cake. I rush to tell my wedding party we need to break down the tables and get everything cleaned up to honor MY HALF of the verbal agreement with Christa. My guests are forced to eat their cake standing, and my party is put under additional stress rushing to get all the equipment out to the driveway.

    Next, it's 10pm, and no one has shown up. No one has called. At this point, my wife and I are stressing out on our wedding night—one of the most important nights of our lives—and wondering if the equipment is going to be picked up at all. Again, no one has even called to leave a voicemail. We have to be out of the house in the morning, and we are wondering if we are going to be charged by the rental house for leaving a bunch of stuff in the owner's driveway.
    Finally, in the morning, we leave them another voicemail. No response. No call back. Luckily, around 11am, right before we have to leave the rental, their people show up to pick up the equipment. They don't speak with us or make any attempts at apology. In fact, the drivers look straight-up stoned.
    My wife and I are incredibly disappointed in their service. Their lack of communication caused an incredible about of stress during an already incredibly stressful time, and took away from our wedding day. We gave the owner, Rich Wilson, one last chance to make amends by reaching out to him personally. I left him both voicemails and emails. He didn’t care at all apparently, as it has now been a month since our wedding day, and like his employees, he is unresponsive.

    If you can find any other party supplier in the area, go with them instead. These people are disorganized, incompetent, and heartless.

    Would Not Recommend!!
    It's unfortunate that there are only a few rental companies in the Tahoe/Truckee area because I WOULD NOT recommend using EventMasters and I would never use them again for any future events. There were items left off of our order that we did not find out about till the day before our wedding and our caterer had to go out of their way to locate these items for us with another company which ended up costing us more in the long run. We were told that EventMasters were uncooperative which is how they treated us when we called after our wedding to follow up on the confusion. We were given the run around after multiple calls and the company refused to make things right. When we submitted our deposit 3 months in advance, we were never told that the items were not available which is what they told us happened the day before our wedding.

    We used event masters for the banquet equipment rental for our wedding. The woman who helped us put together our order was nice and she gave us great customer service. We had to call back a few times to change and finalize our order and they always sent us back the updated event order right away. A couple of days before the wedding, a woman (I think her name is Melissa) called to get final numbers. I confirmed our order and made it very clear that it needed to be ready on Thursday night because we needed to pick it up at 9AM when they opened on Friday. We had a rehearsal event to get to.

    My wife showed up to pick up the order at 930AM, and the order was incorrect. The young lady working was very nice, but brand new and she was the only one working. She tried to give us the wrong order. Then, she gave us table bases instead of umbrella stands, and shrimp cocktail goblets instead of champagne sherbet glasses. My wife sat there for over an hour going over the clipboard with the girl trying to help her get the correct products together and find them in the warehouse. When I returned the equipment, the same girl was there, her name was Kara I think. She was great. Super nice. She took full responsibility for her error. I said no problem, that we had a little bit of breakage (it ended up being $24), and that since they added stress to my wife's day and made her an hour and a half late to her wedding rehearsal, it would be a nice gesture to waive the breakage fee. She said that she would check with her manager and have them call us.

    Now the bad part. Later that day Melissa called me back. Before I could even explain the situation she interrupted me and continued interrupting me. She was on the attack from the very start. She called me a liar, and said that her warehouse manager was there to help with my wife with the order. She said my wife was there for no more than 15 minutes. She said that I was angry, even though I was speaking to her in a calm voice. I asked her to just listen to me and quit interrupting, yet she continued yelling at me over the phone. She said that she didn't have the power to do what I was asking anyway, so she would need to talk to the owner and call me back.

    Later in the day she called me and left a message saying that the owner did not want to talk to me and that we had exactly 3 days to return the missing items or we would be auto-charged $24. (All of this over a simple $24 gesture). I asked her if she was aware that we are locals who were referred by three friends who own local businesses (two of which are caterers) that have done business with Event Masters. She informed me that those people also did not matter to her. It's too bad that one employee (manager?) can be so awful and ineffective and the employees can be so great. By the way, this all went down on the first day of our honeymoon.
