  You Will Love Working with Events by Delaney

  Alison and I are forever thankful for Delaney and the incredible help she provided us and our vendors before, during, and after our wedding ceremony. Our outdoor wedding took place at a private family residence in a rural setting, which meant we had to coordinate with a variety of independent vendors across a spectrum of services from catering and cakes to tent rentals, photographers, flowers, live music, hotel accommodations, on- and off-site transportation for more than 100 guests, and even booths for bourbon tasting and fresh oysters. Delaney guided us through every step of the process and, very importantly, was always the calm voice of reason and source of smart decisions when we needed it the most. Delaney was very hands on—for example, she offered several detailed mockup configurations for the seating, eating, and dancing portions of the event, and happily stretched tape measures around the sections of property to assess where and how to place the rental tents, which were critical to our contingency rain plan (thankfully, it didn’t rain). Delaney worked personally with every vendor to facilitate clear communications, set expectations, and articulate to everyone where, when, and how each aspect of the ceremony would proceed. Everything went perfectly. Early in our conversations, Alison said “I hope I don’t become a bridezilla” to which Delaney responded “I really don’t like the word ‘bridezilla.’ It’s just people who really want their wedding to be perfect. I totally understand that.” That empathy for the people and emotions involved in planning a wedding is what makes Delaney exception. We can’t thank her enough. Our wedding was perfect.

  Incredibly Thorough & Detailed!

  Delaney made the wedding planning process easy as I was an extra stressed bride nearing the end of graduate school. She was extremely supportive of me and my husbands wishes for our wedding day and executed each detail better than we could have imagined. We absolutely loved Delaney, and could not recommend her more.

  Delaney was our best wedding purchase!

  My husband and I had planned most of our wedding and about 2 months prior realized we had no idea what to do with timeline, how to arrange everyone to walk down the aisle, or even who was going to make sure all of our personal items were accounted for at the end of the night. Cue Delaney. Delaney made sure everything I had even mentioned in passing was thought about and taken care of... down to picking up any missing items and making sure my iPad was put into my car. If anything had gone wrong that day, I definitely did not know about it; I noticed a table had been moved before our reception entrance and she promptly informed me why when we sat down for dinner (a non-issue, but I mentioned it, so she enlightened me). She is 100% our best and most important purchase we made for our wedding, and we were so lucky to have had her these last two months, but especially on our wedding day. She made our day completely stress-free and fun and was beside me every step of the way. I would get married again and again if Delaney was able to be there as it would be the most fun and stress-free experience. We recommend her and her team to anyone needing a wedding coordinator!!

  Events by Delaney is the best!

  Events by Delaney should without a doubt be the go-to wedding planner/coordinator for your wedding! My now-husband and I got married on October 21 in Baltimore, MD and Delaney made sure everything went flawlessly! We gave her quite the challenge with three different venues (photos, church, and reception) and transportation from three locations for 130 guests. Delaney and her team handled this challenge incredibly, with several guests complimenting us on the seamless flow of the day.   Detailed, organized, personable, thorough!

  Working with Delaney was by far the best decision we made for our wedding day! We were married on October 14th in VA and began working with Delaney a few months before to help with final organizing, contract details for vendors, timeline details, setting up and breaking down help, and all the little details that totally would have been missed without her! We had already had quite a bit planned before hiring her so we chose he month of coordination planning. This actually started a few months in advanced and covered everything we needed. My only regret was not having her start sooner!
  
  As a fellow type A personality filled with organizing, planning, and timelines, I truly admired how detailed she was! All of my pre-hired vendors had nothing but rave reviews to say about Delaney and the timeline she helped up create. From our photographers and videographers who have been in the wedding game for years to our newer venue, everyone commented on how smoothly Delaney operated and how helpful she was!
  
  Unfortunately we had some issues with our catering company, some of which I noted right away, and many I did not know until well after our honeymoon, thanks to Delaney. She has helped curate an email to express our concerns and has followed up with company regarding aspects of our contract that were not met. I firmly believe that had we hired Delaney to help vet our catering company we would not have those issues. However, we are so grateful we had her to help mitigate some of the chaos and assist in the additional clean up required since they left before bussing the tables.
  
  I HIGHLY recommend having Delaney and her team join your wedding vendor team!

  Such a joy to work with

  In February 2023, my husband and I saw my future DIL get very stressed-out regarding handling all of the details of the upcoming wedding in October, especially the weekend of the wedding. We decided that part of our wedding gift to them was to hire a Day of Wedding Planner for them. After interviewing several planners, my son and DIL chose Events by Delaney as their Day of Wedding Planner. What a great choice they made! Delaney is very professional and organized but also, down to earth and a joy to work with. I didn’t work with her much until I started stressing out about the rehearsal dinner. I wanted it to be a very special and happy event for my son and DIL… and I wanted to enjoy it and not worry about the preparations. (It was catered at the event location, so we had to worry about setting up, decorating, and just making sure everything ran smoothly.). So, a month before the wedding, I reached out to Delaney and asked her if she would have time to also handle the Rehearsal Dinner. Thank goodness she said yes! She took over right away…she contacted the vendors and worked with me to ensure the Rehearsal Dinner night went smoothly. She and her staff set up and decorated all the tables, dealt with the caterers, and then took down and packed everything up for us afterwards. It was a beautiful and stress-free night for all! On to the wedding day. Thanks to Delaney and her staff, the day went smoothly and my DIL and son enjoyed their magical day, instead of worrying about all of the details. I highly recommend Delaney! Give her a call! You won’t regret it! Thank you Delaney for all of your help!

  The Coordinator We Didn't Know We Needed

  We almost didn't get a coordinator, but about a month out from our big day we were overwhelmed and we didn't know how we were going to get to the big day, and we decided we needed help. We managed to find Delaney and her team, and from our first meeting we felt the most comfortable with her. Her energy, confidence, and poise were exactly what we wanted to bring us over the finish line. Her rate was reasonable for all the services she offered, ESPECIALLY all the last minute vendor follow-ups and confirmations.   Fantastic Wedding Coordinator

  We hired Events by Delaney for our wedding on July 30, 2023 in Washington DC. We hired Delaney about 3 months before our wedding day. My wife and I had already done the majority of the wedding planning by that point so we were really just looking for somebody to help us with final details and day of coordination. Delaney had a wedding management option for us that worked perfectly based on the stage of planning we were at and what our needs were. Delaney was quick to start gathering all the information from us she needed and from there we had continuous conversations and communication with her on getting all the final details figured out with the venue and our vendors. Delaney worked closely with our venue and vendors to make sure everybody had all the details and information they needed. Delaney was very organized and detail oriented to make sure everything would be planned and organized exactly how we would want it to be on our wedding day. She was very helpful with putting together our wedding day timeline. We felt very comfortable going into the wedding day that she was well prepared and ready to manage the wedding day for us. She promoted herself as someone who executes in the background and doesn't try to take over your wedding and the planning. She found a great balance of helping us with thoughts and ideas but also made sure to stick to the vision that my wife and I had for the wedding.
  When our wedding day finally came around, everything went pretty much flawlessly! Delaney did a fantastic job making sure everything went exactly as planned and that our timeline was followed as close as possible. Everything was so on time and went exactly as we hoped it would go. It was really important to my wife and I that we didn't have to worry about all the details and logistics on the wedding day so we could just enjoy our big day. Delaney made sure that was the case for us as she truly handled all the details and coordination on the wedding day and it all went great!   Working with Delaney will be the best decision you make

  I cannot say enough amazing things about Delaney. Working with her was the best decision I made while planning our wedding. She is a true professional – thorough, detail-oriented, and a joy to work with. Leading up to the wedding and throughout the wedding weekend, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was beautifully executed. She puts her client before anything else, and diplomatically pushed to make sure I got what I wanted. I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding knowing she had anything and everything handled. I’m pretty particular so for her to be able to make me feel confident and at-ease is no small feat. I appreciated having her expertise, advice, and great taste throughout. Most importantly, Delaney keeps the real reason for the wedding front and center and it’s evident how deeply she cares about the people she works with. My family and friends still talk about how great she is. My only regret was not starting to work with her the moment we got engaged.

  I wish I could give 10/5 stars - I cannot give enough praise to Delaney! I was so overwhelmed with all the “to-do’s” that come along with weddings and bringing Delaney in was the best decision and money spent - she instantly made me feel at ease and I was actually able to enjoy the “down to the wire” moments leading up to my wedding day. From our first meeting two months out, she far surpassed anything that my husband and I even anticipated! Delaney and her husband Corey are so sweet, so professional and went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special and stress free! They are a top notch team and there are not enough praises to sing for the two of them. There was literally not one detail missed thanks to her. I would sing praises to Events by Delaney to the moon and back!
