Events by Jesse exceeded our expectations in every way. Our wedding was complicated with a lot of moving parts, bad weather, one room for ceremony/reception, a lot of vendors, and a little bit of a tight schedule. We were nervous until we found Events by Jesse. Dave and Billy were an incredible team who made our dream wedding a reality. They executed everything seamlessly, communicating with all the vendors and creating a great timeline. It was such a comfort to have Billy the day-of. Him handling so much of set up and sticking to timeline allowed us to enjoy every moment and not stress. -

During wedding planning for our 11/26/21 event, especially with a full time demanding job and Covid restrictions, I quickly became overwhelmed by what I might not be thinking of. I had a huge "worry" list of little loose ends. We were all set with our vendors and had a good vision for décor. Our venue was wonderful and provided a coordinator for things related to the venue. My fiancé (now husband) suggested talking to someone about getting some help for the "day of " - help with all the last minute things I might not be able to do myself the day of the wedding and someone to share my worry list with. After an initial call with Events by Jesse - we knew it was going to be exactly what we needed and we secured "day of" support about 8 months in advance of the wedding. About 6 weeks prior to the wedding, we started working with Dave to share our vendor info, vision and plans for our big day. He was wonderful in getting to know us and in asking lots of questions. His experience was clear and he was incredibly friendly, organized and insightful. On our wedding day - Dave arrived mid-morning and met all the vendors. He quickly became BFFs with my sister and best friend trouble shooting together in the event space and helping me take pictures. His help gave me incredible peace of mind and confidence that things were going smoothly. I didn't even hear about any hiccups until after my honeymoon where we did a debrief call - which resulted in a credit from one of my vendors. We planned our own wedding but help on the wedding day was key to truly being able to be present, enjoy the day and focus on each other. I highly recommend Events by Jesse and will always remember Dave as a special part of our wedding day! -

WOW! My wife and I went with Events by Jesse for our wedding day coordinator a month ago, and I'm sure we could not have made a better choice! From our first phone call, Jesse listened closely and understood our needs, and it was clear she was extremely organized and thoughtful. As the wedding neared, Jesse handed us off to one of her expert staff, Dave, who matched, if not exceeded, our expectations. We vibed with Dave immediately. We could tell that he understood our vision, shared our taste, and was personally committed to ensuring that our event went well. From day one through the wedding day, he was 100% on top of things. No detail went overlooked. Other vendors and even guests literally told us what an AMAZING job he was doing. We can not thank Dave and Events by Jesse enough! -

Tl;DR - Hire Jesse!
My partner and I have hectic schedules and stressful jobs, we knew early on that we absolutely needed a wedding planner to make our big day happen. We are so grateful for finding Jesse! From the very beginning, Jesse made all the overwhelming pieces of a wedding feel so manageable and easy.
We worked with Jesse under a full wedding planner, she found us all of our vendors and the process of choosing was so simple. We had an ambitious plan to have 3 outfit changes to represent different aspects of our cultures and Jesse made it all happen with seamless execution. Jesse is incredibly organized, detail oriented, and experienced. She made our vision come to life and because of her we only have the happiest memories of our wedding day.
On the wedding day, Jesse executed like a boss. Though there was a few hiccups along the way, she pulled through and fixed each flawlessly.
Jesse and her team are the best of the best in the business, you will be so thankful for having her on your side for your big day. - Jackie & Rayan

Jesse was our day-of planner, and so important to our wedding. When our original wedding venue went out of business, Jesse was there to help us brainstorm new options on short notice. When our actual wedding venue had issues to address the morning of the wedding itself, she was ready to call new vendors and contractors to the venue. She was so good at keeping us on schedule during the ceremony and the reception. We would absolutely recommend her. -

As soon as we got engaged, we knew we wanted to work with Events by Jesse. Jesse took every little trial and tribulation of planning process and made it a pleasure! Her wealth of knowledge of vendors and all things wedding was indispensable. Leading up to the wedding, Jesse made herself available for every question, concern, and manic email from the bride. And the day before/day of? Jesse was a marvel! She effortlessly wrangled two crazy families kept everybody on schedule, and checked in consistently to make sure that my husband and I were happy, and enjoying such a special time in our lives. Having Jesse there, ensured that we could relax and be present and know that everything was taken care of. I cannot recommend Events by Jesse enough! -

Danielle Sent on 07/29/2018Words simply cannot convey the amount of gratitude and appreciation I have for Jesse. She is essentially the fairy godmother of wedding planning. Seriously: If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t have survived the wedding planning process — we simply could not have done it without her. She was not only there for us each step along the way, in constant communication and always available to answer even the silliest of my questions at odd hours, she singlehandedly recommended each vendor, all of whom were marvelous, immensely simplifying the vendor-seeking process! I’m seriously in awe at how amazing everyone she recommended was. And she is not just brilliant and incredibly hard-working, but also extremely kind, understanding and selfless, making working with her an incredibly pleasant and reassuring experience, which is *essential* when planning a wedding. And our wedding was not an easy one: My husband and I both have massive families, and mine is very overbearing and kept inserting themselves into the process unexpectedly. But Jesse handled it with such grace and professionalism it was like they weren’t bothering us at all, haha! And my entire family, husband’s family, and all of our guests are blown away by her extraordinary work as well (and there are A LOT of them). She went so above and beyond our expectations and truly made our day the most magical, fun, beautiful day of our entire (and our guests’) lives.
In short: I cannot recommend Jesse as a wedding/event planner enough. She will make it feel so easy and seamless, even when things are the most stressful. Even *during* the wedding, she streamlined the speech giving process, reminded me of where to be and when, instructed guests on where to go, etc. I seriously mean it when I say the day wouldn’t have happened or been a success without her expertise and willingness to give it her all. Seriously: HIRE JESSE! She is such an awesome person I promise you won’t regret it! -

Jesse was an incredible day-of coordinator, and we couldn't have made our wedding work without her. She helped us as soon as we hired her, connecting us to a fantastic caterer who was in our budget, and was really there for us as we navigated a million little decisions in those weeks just prior to the wedding. On our wedding day, Jesse had a very calm presence in the background. I'm sure she was doing a million things, but she and her staff (including all of our servers, whom she provided at a great rate) were on top of every little detail without intruding on our experience. As a result of their diligence and professionalism, we were able to relax and enjoy without worrying at all. The whole event went off without a hitch or a single problem, and we were in great hands with her.
I took off just one star on her responsiveness as there were times when we were a little further out from the wedding when it would take a week or more to get a quick email response. I'll be honest - that may have been where we were overstepping the bounds of a day-of coordinator role a tiny bit - but on the other hand, she never said that was the case, so it was a little nerve-wracking in that in-between time before she was in full gear with us. I'm so glad it all worked out okay, and when that time came, we definitely had her full attention. -

My husband and I hired Jesse of Events by Jesse and we could not be more grateful for her hard work and expertise. She handled the tasks that couples don’t typically think of on their wedding day. From the beginning of the wedding day when I was getting my makeup and hair done along with my bridesmaids, she orchestrated scheduling, getting people where they need to be, and even handled my mother-in-law! My parents had doubts about what she would be needed for, but by the end of the night they were grateful to have her so they could have some fun at our wedding too!
She met with me personally before the wedding and had many ideas from her vast experience on how to schedule different parts of the day and keep the energy flowing at the reception. When we got to the reception she handled the issues that arose. For example, the florist had forgotten to include floating candles in our center pieces, but Jesse volunteered to go to Target to purchase some for us to keep or contact the florist and push her to return to finish the job. She convinced the florist to come back and all went well. She even packed us up food to go at the end of the night. She does things you wouldn't even realize you need to plan such as putting the florists flowers on the wedding cake or making sure the tables are set up correctly and the pens are near the guestbook.
Rest assured, Jesse knows what she’s doing and we highly recommend her. -

Jesse is a great person but it was ultimately a mistake to hire her for our wedding day. She missed key aspects of our contract that ended up costing us thousands upon thousands of dollars, very unexpectedly, and we had no way out of paying for them. Certain things she knew were very important to us, and they were not translated to our big day (floor plans, aesthetic details, etc). Furthermore, she kept telling us to trust her on her knowledge of different vendors, some of which ended up being an absolute disaster. In some ways she was great (friendly, personable, had some amazing connections) but in so many ways she dropped the ball on our wedding and then assumed no responsibility for having done so. I think if your wedding is sort of simple/cookie cutter (e.g. ceremony/rehearsal in one spot, you want the reception to be a big dance party, etc.) you could safely choose Jesse but for our day, I do wish we had gone in a different direction. The terrible vendors and multiple miscommunications and mistakes with contracts led to a lot of stress, disappointment, and, again, thousands of dollars, totally unexpectedly.
