Melanie is absolutely incredible!!! She was instrumental in helping our wedding vision come to life! As our day-of-coordinator she helped everything go smoothly, managed all our vendors and took the stress off of my husband and I so we can enjoy the day. The meetings we had in the months leading up to the wedding were also super helpful! She helped us put together the perfect wedding day timeline and made sure we covered every single detail. I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without her. I would’ve missed planning out so many important details. I felt like I literally trusted my life with Melanie and she did not disappoint! We even got so many compliments from our guests about how well-organized our wedding was. Trust and believe, this would not have been the case without Melanie. She really helped us cross our T’s and dot our I’s. Even the work she did in setting up all our stuff at the venue was amazing and much needed! I honestly don’t know how people have weddings without a day-of-coordinator like Melanie in their corner. It seems impossible. Anyway, we are so glad we hired her! She is extremely efficient and gets things done! Stop thinking about it and just do it! We highly recommend Melanie - you won’t regret it! -

Phenomenal
Melanie organized the most beautiful 30th birthday party for me. She captured who I am within every detail from the decor, to the music, to the food and cake. It was more than I could’ve ever asked for. Such an incredible person and such an amazing and organized planner. I’d book her again and again for any and every event in my life. To say that I’m grateful is an understatement. -

Hire Melanie as your coordinator. You deserve it. You're investing in this and you deserve to have the event without any hiccups. She is proactive, on-time, kind and has a "we got this" attitude when the brides are freaking out. I've worked with a lot of coordinators and Mel is amazing to work with.
I had hired Mel to help me for countless events now, including personal ones like my bridal shower and a bride's bachelorette and bridal shower and a big 30th birthday bash. I've also seen her help other weddings I've attended.
If you're on the fence - please keep reading to learn from past brides. One thing I learned from getting married is that even if you do the work and research on your own of planning and booking, you WILL be needing a day-of coordinator the day of your wedding. Why? Because you, as the bride, will need to be front and center shinning and looking stress-free. But you'll also be needing someone to manage the timeline throughout the day and all the vendors. Someone to handle the problems the day of so that you never even find out about most issues and to do the running in the background and have it all aligned. An MC does not cover organizing the timeline of the day with the vendors and helping you and your bridesmaids to get ready on time. Mel becomes that expirienced best friend you needed to save the day because you can't be in 2 places at once and a family/friend in charge will either 1.) not know all the things to do for a flawless wedding you invested in or 2.) miss out on enjoying your wedding because of the running around.
I learned the importance of a day-of wedding coordinator when I was a bridesmaid years ago to a friend overseas and she didn't want to have a day-of wedding coordinator. Well, there were a lot of "what are we supposed to do now" moments between us and there was even a point where we were all partying on the dance floor and I realized we had to tell the DJ to stop and ask everyone to sit down because the we forgot about the bride and groom's first dance. They were already dancing together. Mel is one of the most genuine, hardworking and detailed professionals I've met. 10/10 book her and save your day. It goes by fast! -

Melanie was absolutely amazing! Her professionalism, attention to detail and her care and concern made my husband and I feel as if we were her only clients. We hired Events by Melanie for day-of coordinating for our big day in September. She went above and beyond what we expected, providing us with weekly coordination calls, contacting vendors on our behalf, and making sure we had all aspects of the day figured out beforehand so that we could properly plan. Without Melanie's experience and expertise, many of the special moments that happened during the Wedding would not have been possible.
We wanted to hire Melanie so that there would be another person in charge of things during the wedding day, but she provided that and so much more. She allowed us to have total peace of mind to focus on the important things that day, like sharing heartfelt vows, meeting with family and friends, having fun on the dancefloor. I highly recommend anyone in the area reach out to Melanie and inquire about her services, they will not dissapoint! -
