    Perfect Wedding Day

    Eric was wonderful to work with for our son's wedding. He was detail-oriented, professional and made the day run seamlessly. We were able to enjoy the day without worrying about anything. He even followed up with me the morning after the wedding to see how I was doing and to make sure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend Eric and Events by Renee.

    Phenomenal

    I can not express how wonderful it was working with Events by Renee. First off, working with Renee was such a joy. She made the wedding planning process enjoyable and seamless. She was always available for my questions and needs. On the day of the wedding, she and Beth were true superstars! They were amazing from the beginning of the day in making sure that I had everything I needed to making sure that we were on schedule throughout the day. Everything was well managed during the ceremony and reception. Events by Renee was fantastic and I would recommend their services to couples looking for a phenomenal wedding planner!

    Amazing Service!

    We used Events by Renee for the day-of coordination for our wedding in January. Renee and Beth were fabulous - we did not have to worry about one thing the day of our wedding and were always ready with a solution in hand when challenges popped up. I cannot recommend them enough - working with them gave us such peace of mind the entire day!

    Wonderful Support!

    What a pleasure it was to work with Renee, and our game-day supports Beth and Donna. From the first walkthrough of the venue to the very last guest leaving, Beth and Donna were incredible. They ensured our families were fed as the day began, attended to every detail, and allowed for my partner and I to be present throughout the greatest party of our lives. Thank you, Events by Renee!

    Worth every penny!

    Renee was so amazing and helpful when it came to making the days and weeks leading up to our wedding run smoothly and the day itself! She was also extremely flexible and understanding when it came to the changes of our date and other aspects of our wedding due to Covid. Renee and her assistant Allison were there bright and early taking care of everything from grabbing me a green juice, picking up lunch for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, tipping vendors, dealing with last minute hiccups at the venue and more. I cannot say enough good things about Events by Renee and highly recommend her services to every bride to be!

    Get a planner!!

    We used Events by Renee for our wedding last month! We hired for day of coordinator as I already had most of my wedding planned, and needed the support for the day of. We had both Beth and Allison on our day and it was SO worth it to hire them. They were both very professional and organized and helped the entire day run smoothly. From the start of the day until the very last minute things went perfectly and I know it was due to their help and coordination!!

    I booked with Renee at the last minute - everyone kept telling me that I didn't need a wedding coordinator for the day of but you definitely do! I don't know what I would have done. Renee was already booked for our day but she assigned one of her other coordinators Beth - and she was so great! I didn't have to worry about a single thing. I would definitely highly recommend!

    Renee and her team truly helped to make our June 4th wedding at the Hyatt Bellevue exactly what we wanted--beautiful and relaxed. Background--My husband and I are 35 and 46 year old CPA's who aren't pretentious but do enjoy life's luxuries. We were having a small wedding (50 people) and had done most of the up front planning/decisions/vendor hires ourselves, but as we got closer to the wedding I felt like I really needed a professional to help us pull it all together. Plus, we were not having a bridal party--we wanted our friends/family to get to enjoy the entire wedding day without having to run around and help us. We also knew that emotions would be running high and wanted to rely on a professional that would be calm/objective. We chose the "week of" package which actually started earlier than the week of and gave us the perfect amount of time/interaction with Renee to be able to bounce ideas off of her and to leverage tasks to her. She really was able to help with whatever we needed including: coming with me to my final bridal fitting and learning how to bustle my dress, helping us to coordinate and plan transportation for our welcome reception/ wedding photos/transport of family, ordering/receiving/preparing/dropping off welcome gift bags for our out of town guests, helping coordinate big day including coming with us and helping while we took our wedding photos. Since we were having a small wedding and had done a lot of planning I was on the fence for a bit as to if it was over indulgent to hire a planner but I am SO glad that we hired Renee. The value for the cost was absolutely worth it and I didn't regret the decision to get the extra help for an instant! To anyone that is reading this and considering if they need to hire a wedding planner my advice is to book Renee now-you don't realize how much help you need until you are a month away and its totally worth it!

    The Bride Was a Number

    We booked Events by Renee for our daughter’s recent wedding (May 2022) for the full planning services plus extra for help planning two additional parties.

    Overall Impression: This was not a good value for the money spent. Our daughter’s wedding was not given any significant priority, even the month of the wedding. Note that Ms. Rhinehart, the owner of the business, works part-time in this business and full-time developing partyhosthelper.com. We were not privy to this when booking.

    Pros:
    • Day of Support good; the Planner worked long hours, even helped with clean up
    • Taping job for bride's wardrobe malfunction excellent, stayed in place
    • Help with bridesmaid's dress also very good
    • Flexible with some last minute/late changes (changing three lights to two on the tables, changing plans to attend the AA tasting)
    • Helpful in acting as the bride and groom’s witness when they applied for their marriage license
    • Picked up favors and stored centerpieces for the bride
    Cons:
    • Planning missed a lot of important details throughout planning (wedding date, etc.); does not take notes at meetings
    • Did not feel like personal service as requested in the initial interview, not enough time with bride. The bride missed dates to do things because the Planner was not in regular touch with the bride. The MOB had to step in to actively plan the wedding.
    • Very difficult to contact except email, even to schedule a meeting which had to be during business hours
    • Vendor search limited to one vendor, even after MOB mentioned the one vendor did not work
    • Planner not flexible to redo the vendor search after COVID rescheduling (extra fee for this), resulting in MOB, bride doing their own vendor searches for some vendors
    • Not budget-oriented as requested in initial interview in terms of purchasing additional services, resulting in going over budget continuously with nearly every vendor hired
    • Forgot that we were out of town in planning the wedding
    • Did not receive payment notifications when things were due or adequate budget spreadsheets
    • Nearly all communications (mostly emails) left something to be desired, resulting in lots of wasted time for the MOB, FOB, and others
    • Lack of timely response to many inquiries
    • Knowledge of venue not adequate (overstated in initial interview)
    • Planner did not know the correct order for a Jewish wedding (where they stand at the altar) and directed incorrectly. This resulted in bride's family not seeing her face on the video.
    • Suggested lots of add-on fees for things that should have been included even though we paid for the premium service plus extra for planning additional parties.
    • Two special requests from MOB (a search of more than one vendor for chairs and welcome bag assembly) were handled mostly by assistants, resulting in uneven results.
    • No support given for times the planner was not available (her honeymoon and maternity leave)
