  Event Coordinator

  If you are looking for an event coordinator, RUN, don’t walk, to book Events by Shannon. I had a backyard wedding for 160 people and Shannon was nothing short of amazing. We had to outsource everything since it was the backyard and she worked so hard to confirm all my contracts, be the contact person for all my vendors, and set everything up come the day of. She truly outdid herself, along with her team. The day ran effortlessly thanks to Shannon. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more thanks to Events by Shannon.

  Shannon is TRULY the best!!

  Shannon is friendly, understanding, and reliable! She is eager to help your vision come to life. I struggle with decision making and time management and Shannon helped make a comprehensive timeline. She also helped facilitate conversations with my other vendors as well. On the day of my wedding, she worked with my caterers to create the most gorgeous table scapes! I could not have gotten through the day without her.

  The absolute BEST!

  I hired Shannon as my wedding month coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! I was looking for someone to help me with last minute planning and most importantly be there on our wedding day to keep everything on track. She made us a precise timeline which allowed a lot of stress to be taken off of me. Shannon is professional, timely and has the best organizational skills. She is also SO fun to be around and made sure my day was perfect. I am so happy I decided to hire her and would do it all over again!

  Shannon is the best!

  Shannon and her team are the absolute best! We used Events by Shannon as our month-of planner for our wedding in September, and are so glad we did! Despite uncertain weather, shifting venues and an ornary vendor or two, she and the team made sure the day ran smoothly and stress-free. She put me at ease through the entire process with her professionalism and attention to detail. Plus she's super sweet :) I would highly recommend Events by Shannon!

  Where do I even begin!? I can't thank Shannon enough for turning our dream wedding into a reality! Angel and I came to Shannon a month before our wedding needing help and guidance. It was becoming crunch time and we were faced with the reality that we just could not handle all the planning, decisions, and tracking that came with it. My cousin had referred me to reach out to Shannon as she planned her wedding in 2021 and I remembered how amazing everything turned out then. How lucky were we that the only weekend Shannon had available was our day, and Shannon jumped right in and got the ball rolling! Shannons organization and attention to details is a gift in itself. She took our quirky and weird ideas and made them a reality, making sure we knew every step of the way this was OUR day! Throughout the process our conversations were so personal, nothing about my time with Shannon felt transactional, she cared about everything that lead up to our special day and made sure we were present in our moment.   BOOK SHANNON especially if you have no idea what you’re doing

  Shannon was the first vendor we booked for our wedding. We had a very non-traditional, do it yourself and bring everything in type wedding which meant we had A LOT to coordinate and figure out. We also were planning from out of state which made it more complicated! The second we were in contact with Shannon we felt better. Shannon did our site visit for us, asked questions I would have never even thought about, kept us organized and was so communicative. She was patient, attentive, helpful and fun as hell - she is truly a professional in this game. BOOK HER!
  Ps - she even snapped a photo of my bridesmaids/best friends in their after party outfits and sent it to me the next day :) it’s the only pic I have of them together in the after party attire!!!

  The best!

  Hired Shannon as a month of coordinator and got married on 11/12/22. Thank goodness I had Shannon to coordinate all of my vendors and get everyone on the same page! Our entire wedding was perfect! There wasn’t one issue all day long and if there was I had no clue about it! Shannon and her assistant were on top of all the little details and I’m still in awe of how seamless she made our day! I can’t recommend enough!!

  Month/Day of Coordinator

  Shannon was my month/day of coordinator for my wedding on 9/30/22.
  
  Leading up to the wedding, she referred me to my photographer, she understood what I wanted and delivered the best fit photographer. Shannon just "gets it".
  She and her team are so sweet and personable. She reached out to all of my vendors, caught a discrepancy with my cake order and quickly advised me so that it could be rectified. Day of, she showed right on time and having her there to make sure we ran on time and smoothly was such a relief. I'm grateful for her and recommend her to anyone considering a coordinator. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  Shannon was Invaluable!

  My wife and I had such a great experience with Shannon! She was attentive, easy to work with and professional. She provided anything and everything we needed, solved problems for us before we even knew they existed, and was there for us every step of the way. She was available for everything, from planning each aspect of our day, to being there on site the day of our wedding to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Shannon reviewed all our vendor contracts, confirmed arrival times and all details with vendors, and shared a detailed wedding day timeline with us. She provided so much insight and thought of things that I had not, which was so valuable to the month-of planning process. Shannon & her assistant were easy to work with, so friendly, calm, and made us feel at ease! They both are so kind and genuine, it was so nice to have their positive energy around us on our wedding day! There are SO MANY things Shannon took care of that would have put stress on me/bridesmaids/family had we not had her there! As everyone tells you before your wedding, something will go wrong on your wedding day.   Shannon was absolutely incredible to work with. She covered so many of the details that I would have never thought to consider, and was just so beyond helpful every step of the way. I couldn’t recommend using Events by Shannon enough! I had a very small wedding, which made me first believe I wouldn’t need a coordinator. Despite not having a lot of people, the help Shannon provided went so far beyond what I thought event coordination was. Whether you have a big or small wedding, it is absolutely worth the investment; it will save you lots of stress and Shannon guided us throughout everything we needed!

  You won’t regret it!

  Shannon made the wedding planning process (and rescheduling because of Covid!) so easy! Whenever I was feeling overwhelmed Shannon was on it. There were minor hiccups through the day, and I didn’t even realize as Shannon was handling everything with such professionalism. I cannot recommend enough!

  Events by Shannon

  Shannon has assisted me with several events over the years from Sweet 16's, Graduations and Corporate events. She is extremely organized, resourceful & truly a life saver. She thinks of everything and brings such a creative flare to ever event. Never does she complain or state it's not part of her job. She is also so helpful in giving reminders on tasks that we choose to do myself to make sure we don't fall behind. There is no doubt Shannon will be involved in all my party planning in the future. I highly recommend her.

  One of the best choices we made - our wedding rock! Incredible!

  The best choices we made for our wedding were our hotel, venue, and Shannon. I cannot say enough good things about her — she was our wedding rock — our glue, and she made a day that could have been as stressful as they come — the best day ever, because she quickly gained our trust and we knew she could handle anything. We booked Shannon first about a year and a half before our date. We didn’t talk too much in that time, but whenever we did she was quick to reply. We hired her for day-of-coordination, which meant we got unlimited access to her a month prior to the date. We used Greenpoint Loft, a raw venue, which mean we had a lot of vendors and did a lot ourselves. Shannon coordinated so many things I would have never thought of and everything we asked her to. She even got to realize which things me and my now husband were responsible for and started texted us separately about them- never putting more on us then needed. She also has THE BEST WEDDING DAY VIBE. I could tell from our walk-through she’d be perfect. I told everyone after meeting, Shannon has the best vibe. Knows what she’s doing, the perfect amount of confident, optimistic, in-control, chill temperament.
  
  During the wedding she rolled with our changes and kept everything awesome. She even personally passed out Challah to our guests because we cut it after people started going to the buffet.
  
  She stayed until the very end to make sure everything was taken care of and packed away. She left after us. She is an angel.
  
  I plan events for a living. I know what I’m talking about. Don’t make the mistake of not hiring Shannon. Hire Shannon immediately!!! I’m getting teary-eyed writing this. We love you, Shannon!!!

  Wedding Manager

  Shannon is an outstanding professional. Thoughtful and experienced, she handled the timeline and vendors expertly. She anticipated every possible wrinkle and provided solid solutions. Always courteous and so responsive, she made my daughter’s wedding day a day I could truly relax and enjoy. Very highly recommend!
