    Exceeded our expectations in every way!

    We had the perfect wedding thanks to Aly and the Sunshine team! Aly truly went above and beyond for us for the entire year we were planning our wedding. She had great communication and was professional throughout the entire process. Aly also provided great recommendations for our other vendors. Everything was so organized that I didn’t have to stress about anything at all! I am super type A but I felt completely comfortable with letting Aly take charge. Multiple guests at our wedding mentioned to us that our wedding was the smoothest event they had ever been too. All of our other vendors also loved working with the Sunshine team as well. Our day of coordinators were also amazing and they always made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed. We can’t recommend them enough!

    An Amazing Team!

    Aly and the Sunshine Events team did a phenomenal job helping us plan and coordinate our dream wedding weekend, including a welcome party, rehearsal dinner, and the wedding day itself. From the beginning, Aly was incredibly responsive, addressing all our questions at all hours of the day with patience and thoroughness. Her expertise really shone through in her stellar recommendations for our other vendors.

    Also, Aly's exceptional ability to liaise with all involved vendors, ensuring they were well-informed and aligned with our plans, led to a seamless execution of all events. Her organizational skills and proactive approach meant that every detail was meticulously managed, guaranteeing that every aspect of our wedding weekend was executed flawlessly.

    Amazing Team!

    Aly and the Sunshine Events team were absolutely AMAZING in helping us plan and coordinate our wedding. Aly met with us early on and listened intently to what we envisioned for our day, from design, to timeline and flow, to guest experience, and made it all happen beautifully! Throughout the planning process Aly was quick to reply with thoughtful feedback and answers and was great with keeping us on track with the big and small tasks. She was a great sounding board with lots of experience and an eye for design and all things pretty. She was also great in communicating with all of our vendors. On the day of our wedding Aly arrived to our hotel and immediately got to helping with dress malfunctions while calmly getting us all dressed and in the car to head to the ceremony. Aly and her team were like magical fairies that appeared to fix any issues that came up, anticipating our needs and keeping everything on schedule. They created moments for my husband and I to breathe and connect with each other as well as for us to try all of our food (we literally tried every single thing!). There was one instance where my dress strap just popped off and before I had a chance to react, one of the gals was there ready to fix it. The details were just as important to them as they were to us. They did little things that made all the difference like move signage with the flow of people, and make sure we had our favorite drink in hand. They all really went above and beyond every step of the way. I’m not sure if anything went wrong, but if something did, we didn’t notice or hear about it. As the night ended they let us know that our car was packed and ready to go. All of our stuff was packed and accounted for and we literally went from the dance floor to our car, no end of night stress or anything to worry about. I cannot even put in words how much of a joy and how absolutely amazing Aly was to work with. We are forever grateful to Aly and Sunshine Events for working so hard to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams and that we enjoyed every second of it!

    The Best Planning Team!!

    Where do I even begin with the Sunshine Events (previously Events by the Cea) team?! We had the pleasure of working with Christina, Aly, Gabby, and Rachael for our wedding this past weekend and it was by FAR the best money that we spent on the entire day. Their team is thorough, organized, attentive, and kind. They helped bring my vision to life and kept things running smoothly (we were also somehow ahead of schedule the whole day which is practically unheard of!!). I am so grateful to have found them and 1000% recommend them to anyone who is looking for full or partial planning for any of their special events!

    Highly recommend!

    We first met Christina and her team 9 months before our big day. In our first meeting, Christina already had a tentative timeline and checklist of everything we needed to do as the countdown got closer. She was very meticulous and thorough in walking us through all the steps, and she was very comforting during the entire process. She was there for us every single day during the 9 months; it didn't matter if we texted, emailed, or called her on the weekends or evening, she was always available whenever we needed her for anything. Christina made the entire wedding process so seamless, and we didn't have to stress out one bit about dealing with vendors or handling any logistical issues. She was on top of every little thing, and she consistently sent out checklists and friendly reminders to make sure we had everything completed on time.

    Of course, the wedding day went off without a hitch! Christina and her team arrived early to our hotel to help us get ready for the big day. Case in point, we had a snafu while we were both getting ready... as our photographer was doing the photoshoot for myself, he accidently sat on the veil while it was strung up on the bed. Unfortunately, the veil ripped slightly from the comb. My wife was in the other room, so Christina came in immediately with her "fix-it" kit. She and her team were able to quickly adjust the rip and put it together like brand new without my wife even knowing! Of course, we laughed our butts off the next day when I told my wife.

    During the ceremony and reception, Christina and her team made sure to organize our guests efficiently and keep them in their places. Both sides have excited aunties and uncles who don't really follow directions properly. But Christina's team was able to guide everyone where they needed to be and handle any of our guests' questions or concerns. Her team also worked tirelessly with the Florist, DJ, Cake Vendor, and Dining Director to ensure everything was in order the day before and day of. We essentially didn't have to lift a finger, and we were treated like royalty by Christina's team.

    The Best Planner!

    We cannot thank Christina and her team enough for everything they did to make our wedding better than we could have dreamed! From the first phone call she was so organized with a timeline and recommendations for other amazing vendors. Right away we knew we could put our trust in her. We did a partial package since I have some experience event planning, and the team was so accommodating and collaborative! I had a specific vision and lots of special details I wanted incorporated, and they truly went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful!

    We'd be lost without them!

    Christina, Aly, and the entire Sunshine team are true angels on earth. Christina helped me out as soon as I signed my contract with her 1.5 years out. She helped answer every question I had and helped look at contracts for me. Christina even helped me pick my wedding dress because I didn't want to show it to my bridesmaids!!! Christina was open to setting up check in meetings whenever I asked so that I could keep myself accountable on top of our already scheduled check ins. She also scheduled mock ups for us. It amazes me how much she is able to pick up our vision and run with it. It amazes me even more that even though she has multiple clients at once, we felt like we were her only client.

    Aly was our lead planner on the day of and she also helped with the rehearsal dinner the night prior. We have a big Asian family and she navigated the language barriers FLAWLESSLY!! Aly arrived earlier than planned on our wedding day. We had a tea ceremony in the morning and even with the language barriers, she knew exactly what was going on and why things were happening. I was a deer in the headlights and she was keeping me updated all throughout! Now for our evening ceremony and reception, we were expecting rain so I was getting anxious and nervous. Aly reassured me through every second and made sure I felt comfortable no matter what the weather ends up being like. She was hyping us up for the rain!!! There were a few last minute changes that had to happen and she navigated it with such poise and positivity. As a bride, sometimes hearing "no" isn't exactly what we'd like to hear in that moment but looking back, oh boy I am so glad I listened to Aly. Our wedding was perfect and we can't thank the entire Sunshine Team enough. They helped design the space, unpack our inventory, packed up at the end (nothing was missed!), checked on us a lot, told us to breathe, ugh the list goes on. We are eternally grateful and can't wait for the next opportunity to work with them again.

    Amazing team!

    We hired Events by the Cea for day of coordination and we cannot thank Christina and her team enough for their gifts, talents, love, and kindness that contributed to such a special day for us! Since we first talked to Christina on the phone, we knew she was our girl! We enjoyed all our meetings leading up to the big day, she prioritized us, and always replied to any of our questions quickly! We always felt so comfortable with her! We received so many compliments from our guests about how organized the day was and how attentive her team was. Christina is professional, but also so personal and a kind human! You will not be disappointed!

    The best wedding planner!

    Christina & her team were absolutely the best! From our initial consult phone call, Christina took the time to understand what we wanted for our wedding day and helped create an inspo board. From there she was so helpful in finding us vendors that matched our style and budget. We are so grateful we had Christina to plan our wedding -- from venue tours, to planning meetings, to mock-ups, Christina was so diligent and professional and kept everything organized.

    On our rehearsal and wedding day, Christina and her team went above & beyond to make sure everything went smoothly! My bridal party and family cannot stop raving about how she made the whole day run so well. Thank you so much Christina! We can't thank you enough for making our wedding so special!

    Absolutely Amazing!! Best Decision We Made For Our Wedding!

    We hired Christina and her team for our wedding and it was absolutely the best decision we made for our wedding overall! Christina was so hands on throughout the planning process; even though we opted for the ‘day of’ package, Christina made herself available whenever needed for questions, recommendations and advice, which is so incredibly helpful considering there are so many decisions and things to consider. She attended our catering tasting, venue walk-through, came to pickup personal decor we had collected, organized the rehearsal and of course managed the entire wedding. Day of, her team was an absolute pleasure to work with. They were not only so attentive to myself and my husband, but made sure our parents were happy and comfortable, they kept all of the vendors aligned and on time and truly helped to bring our vision to life. I was honestly floored at how much support and services were included for the price point paid. I will absolutely use Events By The Cea again for future events and will recommend them to friends and acquaintances in need of an event planner!

    EBTC are wedding dream makers!

    My fiance and I first reached out to Events By the Cea in August 2020 to begin the wedding planning process for Fall/Winter 2021. Every step of the process, from the speedy initial response, to the day of the wedding we would not have been able to do without the help of Christina and the rest of the EBTC team.

    Given pandemic uncertainties, we pivoted our decisions many times from wanting a traditional wedding, to wanting to elope, to wanting a smaller sized wedding since some of our immediate family members were not able to attend. EBTC were accommodating at every step of the way with no hesitation, and I cannot thank them enough! I've read a lot of anecdotes on couples going over wedding budget, but EBTC helped keep us on budget while not compromising on aesthetics-- in fact, everything looked better than we could have imagined thanks to their in-house graphics and floral teams.

    My biggest rave of Christina and team is how confident and worry-free they allowed us to be despite our wedding venue, Redbird LA, giving us the roughest time. After booking and submitting deposit to Redbird, our point of contact at the venue changed 3 times, with each contact telling us different information on what was possible and how much each item costs. Christina helped us navigate questions left unanswered, and was wonderful in following up to clear any uncertainties.

    A Wonderful Team

    Christina and her team (Heidi and Bea) are a dream to work with. She had recently designed a gorgeous wedding at my future venue and I knew I had to learn more. Christina's initial response was fast, kind, and detailed. These are all qualities that I like and prefer to work with.

    Our initial wedding date was August 29th, 2020. We had everything on track until Covid-19. A little background - my husband and I were planning our wedding from a different state. We are both from California but are currently located in Ohio. Given all the restrictions and potential family and friends flying in for our wedding, we decided to postpone our larger party sometime in July.

    As you can imagine, this was a scary process. We were two months out from our wedding date, and both of us had no clue what to expect. Christina was completely understanding and supportive of our decision. What we liked the most was that she went immediately into action. She notified all of our vendors quickly and was able to work out a date change. Our new date is now August 27th, 2021.

    To honor our original date, my husband and I decided to have a micro ceremony at Crystal Cove/Pelican Point. This is where we got to see Christina and her team shine. We had two months to quickly secure a new micro venue (which required a permit) and pull this off. Christina was quick to reach out both to us and to our vendors with the necessary information. If we ever had a question, she was available by email, text, and phone call. I provided her with detailed inspiration photos of what I wanted, and she and Heidi were always happy to give their input. They were both honest and clear with me regarding my vision and budget. I never felt pressured to spend more money or things like that. I felt completely comfortable with them.

    Our micro ceremony was a dream. I highly recommend you go to her Instagram page (and our other vendors) to see photos. My husband and I found all of our own vendors (I am a grad student so research is my expertise), and Christina's team worked with them so seamlessly. I highly recommend that you consider hiring Christina for your next event as well as our other equally amazing vendors. We are so happy with her and we cannot wait to meet again for our larger party next year.

    Dream wedding made possible by Events by the Cea

    Words truly can’t describe Christina and the Events by the Cea team. From the moment we decided to work with them they made it feel like they were your family. Nothing I asked or requested was ever too much. Any question I had I was immediately responded to by Christina. The day of the wedding my husband and I truly felt like royalty. We had a miscommunication between myself and the rental company and Christina IMMEDIATELY figured out a solution and made everything even better than I could ever expect. We even almost ran out of wine and her team let our point of contact know and went out and got it! Saying goodbye to Christina and her team I cried. She seriously made us so relaxed and made us feel like her number 1 priority. ALSO- they way the were able to repurpose everything from the ceremony to reception was UNBELIEVABLE- I was so beyond impressed! I would recommend her over and over again.

    Life Savers!

    Christina and her team did an amazing job on our ceremony. Like many people here, COVID-19 and the pandemic wreaking havoc on weddings/events everywhere, Christina and Events by the Cea did everything to make our day magical and memorable.

    There were a lot of adjustments needed to have a COVID-19 wedding and Christina and Events by the Cea handled it beautifully. When there was a last minute problem with the chairs for our wedding, Christina made it happen, and got it done with just a quick phone call. She was super responsive with phone calls/texts/emails and her price was more than reasonable. We're looking forward to planning our reception with Christina and Events by the Cea, and to be honest, if you're looking for a wedding planner, look no further than Christina and Events by the Cea. They get the job done.

    Christina and her team are AMAZING! As soon as I met Christina, I knew I was going to be in good hands. She's so friendly, organized and genuinely cares about her clients having the wedding that they dream of. Knowing that Christina and her team had my back on the wedding day (and the few months leading up to the wedding day) made me a very stress-free bride. I would 100% recommend Events By The Cea to all of my friends and all engaged married couples for that matter! I promise that you won't regret hiring them

    CHRISTINA IS THE BEST! Hardworking, creative, client first mentality, organized, friendly, helpful, above and beyond, all the good things!

    Christina & team helped me and my now husband coordinate our wedding through the pandemic beginning in 2019 - 2021. Everything was so easy with her and I never once felt worried or stressed about anything while planning with her or on the day of our wedding - we even switched venues, the entire design of our wedding, and wedding date (multiple times)! Throughout the process, Christina always made herself available when I needed advice or help and kept all my event details very very organized. Her and her team are extremely helpful - we had a very unexpected groomsman issue on our wedding day and her team took care of it so swiftly and with ease. It truly showed their professionalism and me, my husband, and both our parents couldn't be more thankful! The Events by the Cea team even had all my decor items packed up by the end of the night and helped my family bring it to their cars which was so so sweet. There are so many things we are thankful for, but just know if you hire Christina/Events by the Cea, you are in GREAT hands and will be well taken care of. Her and her team are saints and through all the pandemic changes and adjustments, she remained positive and patient. Thank you Christina!

    These ladied were amazing!

    Our wedding planning was a little bit stressful at first but as soon as we hired the girls from events by the Cea everything went A LOT smoother. They were right there with us the whole time helping us with every little detail through phone or text. I would definitely recommend them to a friend!

    Exceptional Service!

    I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIRING EVENTS BY THE CEA! Christina is AMAZING to work with, and so passionate about what she does. I recently got married, but hired Christina 7 months before the big day. Although she offers Day-Of or Month-Of packages, I decided that I needed all the help I could get. When I say she is there for you WHENEVER you need, I really mean it. I tried not to abuse it, but there were times I really needed her advice or help, and she responded almost right away. Christina is EXTREMELY kind, caring, responsive, professional, and very passionate about her work. She made our wedding day so special and was willing to go above and beyond to make us happy and stressed free. Although there were a few hiccups with our venue and our florist, Christina made sure that everything ran smoothly so that my husband and I would not know. In our eyes, the wedding was absolutely PERFECT and so beautiful. We had zero idea anything was going on, and Christina and her team deserve all of the credit for that. It is so evident how much pride and effort Christina puts into her work.

    My mom and I would disagree over little things, but Christina was always there to help and make sure that in the end it was what I wanted and that I was happy. It is difficult to work with my mom as she is very particular and picky, however she LOVED Christina. My mom does not give compliments very easily or very often, but after the wedding she could not stop praising me on finding Christina, which made me feel really good because my mom is very critical of me. She could not stop talking about how amazing Christina was on the day of the wedding. She saw, first hand, just how hard Christina and her team were working.

    Needless to say, I am SO appreciative that I found Christina as she was more than just a wedding planner to me, she also became a friend. I could ramble on about how amazing Christina and her team are, but you just need to experience it for yourself. HIRE HER! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! I promise you.

    Amazing team!

    Christina and her team were amazing to work with, and helped to make our wedding a stress-free and fun experience. From the beginning, she was always extremely enthusiastic, responsive, and professional. In addition, she is very organized and helped us to keep things on track. With her guidance, we had no issues with vendors or the venue on the day of our wedding.

    Finally, her willingness to go above and beyond is something we truly valued. From picking up our wedding cakes to rearranging floral arrangements, she was always willing to help with the little things. Christina and her team are truly special, and we highly recommend her for any and all events!

    Day Of Coordinator

    I cannot day enough good things about Christina and I honestly don’t know how we would have had our wedding without her. She was beyond professional, extremely organized and a beautiful person inside and out. She helped me so much with our day and I trusted her completely to make sure things were running smoothly. Throughout the process, she was always a text message away if we needed anything. She absolutely went above and beyond for us from day one and on our wedding day I was not stressed at all. I would recommend her to any person who is getting married and am soooo thankful someone recommended her to me.

    Christina was AMAZING! I hired her as my wedding planner once I had a theme in mind. I collected a variety of Pinterest favorites and she made it all come to life. My wedding was held at the beautiful Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano. You couldn't tell this was her first time working with the venue at all! She immediately made contact with all the appropriate directors of the club and managed to get everyone communicating with one another on a regular basis. One thing I really appreciate about Christina is her ability to organize and adapt to changes along the way. Another thing I really appreciated about Christina is her assertiveness and ability to keep everyone in check. Despite receiving a couple different “ideas” from family members, Christina always circled back to me and made sure I was on board with final decisions. The wedding day was magical and her touches and eye for detail made my romantic themed wedding really come to life!
