Wow working with Ever After Aruba was such a great and positive experience! My husband and I had such a great experience at our wedding and we wouldn't have traded it for the world. Evita was our wedding planner and she really had everything taken care of for me. It was nice to not worry about anything on the day of my wedding. Jason created the best photography possible and we actually got our pictures before we left the island. We couldn't be happier with the services we received!

Working with Ever After Aruba & Jason Margarita Photography was such a wonderful experience. My husband and I had our wedding on Eagle Beach. The sites and the scenery were absolutely breathtaking. We couldn't believe what surrounded us. It was like a moment from a dream. Our wedding planner was Evita and she did such a fabulous job. We didn't invite too many guests, but it was still a lot to manage and she did such a great job. I came to Eagle Beach in Aruba with my Fiance' for our wedding. I can Honestly say it was no disappointment. The beaches were a dream come true. Our wedding was completely organized by Ever After Aruba. Our wedding Planner Evita had everything perfect for our big day, all the way down to the smallest detail. Our Photographer,Jason Margarita Was superb and a total expert. We even had all of our photos before we left the Island. If you are looking for A DREAM ISLAND WEDDING, Look no further then Ever After Aruba. They will help you make memories that will last a Lifetime.

We hired Jason Margarita and his team to shoot our wedding this May. He was highly recommended and after seeing his work, we booked him early (a year in advance). He did so much more than photograph our weddings (Civil ceremony in the Town Hall, and Blessing at Renaissance Island), he gave me a lot of advise and recommended reliable vendors on the Island, which saved us a lot of money. And even though we tried to hire his wedding planning services but our venue didn't allow it, he still supported us through all the wedding process.
His work is amazing, I have my wedding pictures now, and they look beautiful. We had a Trash the dress session...

Bella Aruba photography captured my engagement session with passion. Every image is perfectly amazing.I read so many reviews that I booked Angela asap and she fit me in her busy schedule. jason did a family photo shoot and couples pictures for us when we were in aruba. co-ordinating this with him and his staff was a breeze. they answered all questions quickly and promptly. they even found certain props we wanted to use in some of the pictures....it was a blast and i would highly recommend them. the pictures are amazing and we had so much fun doing this. he caught shots of us that are just amazing. he has a wonderful eye and an imense talent! if you want the best....book with jason and his team. it is that simple........

Jason & Julissa and their team are exceptional...they work with you to achieve YOUR idea of a ultimate wedding. They are very easy people to work with and they have all the patience in the world, especially for a nervous bride. Their make up artist/ hairdresser (Allan) is amazing, you will for sure look beautiful for your wedding day. Their work is extraordinary. If It were possible to give more than 5 stars, I most certainly would. Jason Margarita and Evita Productions MADE my wedding. I can not say enough great things about this team. Jason and his team are so organized, so responsive, always ahead of time, so well connected, and honestly a bargain! We would have paid him double for the amount of blood, sweat, and tears this man and his team poured into our entire Wedding Week. Yes, I said Wedding Week, and although he had other weddings to also manage, you would have never known. He was literally by our side every step of the way. Our guests even joked sometimes when they saw us in the lobby...

The truth is, he is so much more than that. He is a FULL ON WEDDING PRODUCTION AGENCY and he leads a team of ALL STARS!!

Alan, the stylist worked diligently from the moment we arrived on the island to perfect my looks, yes looks...for the civil ceremony, the ceremony, the reception, and the trash the dress shoot. And he managed do create all of these looks in a few (2.5) hours during our trial. Then, on wedding day, when I sprung additional guests that wanted hair and make-up on him, he didn't even flinch, and made them all feel as glamorous as me! Oh, and the best part... Alan stayed with me all night, to touch up my hair and my makeup (I needed 2 full makeup redos from my fountains of tears) and from the pictures, you would never know I shed a tear!

Julissa, who is the puppet master in the background, handles all of the scheduling and coordinating. She ensures that each and every moving piece works together as a well oiled machine. She coordinated getting my dress steamed and all of the suits pressed, came and picked them up from my hotel room and dropped them off there too!!!!! All while I floated in the lazy river with a drink in my hand! I had complete faith in the entire operation. I never needed to bring my cell phone, bc when any one from the team gave me a meeting time/place...they were there! Usually, waiting on me!

And speaking of pick up/drop off service, when Marian came to pick up my gown/suits I happened to mention to get on the elevator ride up to the room that I needed a birthday cake for my father's 60th bday. By the time I was riding back down the elevator with her, she had coordinated for a "Cake Boss" style cake to be delivered to the lobby of my hotel room at 2:30 the NEXT DAY!!! Are you kidding me?!?!?!

I could literally go on and on and write a book bc Jason and his team had their hands in so many aspects of our wedding week. But I know that most of you are already sold on this amazing team.

So in conclusion, HIRE JASON! And sit back. relax, and let him lead the way. No one can do it better than this guy and his team of miracle workers!

Jason is such a hard worker. He was able to fit us in to his schedule with very short notice during his busy season. He told me that he would make it work. We were extremely happy with Jason and his team. Jason is very good at what he does. He is much more than a photographer for your wedding. He is a very detailed wedding planner. Nothing is over looked. Let him plan everything for you; trust him and you will be very happy and stress free..

Jason Margarita and his team were fabulous. The photos are fantastic and the video is amazing; it has made a few people tear up, which is always priceless.

I wish I had booked the entire wedding (not just photos/video) through his team. (I had issues with the Marriott, but had already put down deposits and signed contracts.) If only, if only. His team is very professional, and I was surprised that he showed up at our suite wearing a black suit to wear in the sunshine, but he was so at ease, he could have been wearing a t-shirt and shorts. Emails were always answered in a timely manner, and like another reviewer, he was the one vendor...

At the wedding, Jason suggested driving to a few places on the island for some fun shots instead of taking shots dancing by the pool, and I'm so glad we did that. We've got some shots at the old gold mine ruins that are some of our most favorite photos of us, EVER. I wouldn't hesitate for a single second to recommend Jason and his team. Thank you, Jason!

Pictures were probably the most important decision for us because we knew (besides the memories in our mind),they are an item that you take with you from the event forever.

Before booking the venue or any other details, we began searching for a photographer. I contemplated bringing one with us from NYC since I was unfamiliar with vendors in Aruba and booking one made me very nervous. After searching and reviewing the portfolios of the photographers on the island, it was clear who had the most amazing, dramatic, breathtaking pictures (by far) – JASON MARGARITA.

I was surprised and excited that this kind of work was available to us in Aruba and of course I worried about the costs as some photographers on the island posted really high prices.

We were so lucky to find that not only did he offer very reasonably priced wedding packages, but he also included so much for us.

It was hard to believe and on top of having the best work and the best prices, he was extremely pleasant.

We visited the island three months prior to the wedding to finalize venue details and when Jason heard we were visiting, he graciously offered to meet with us to discuss our event, what we were looking for and to firm up details.

When we met him in person for the first time, he came with his fiancé Julissa who also was such a pleasure to meet and took many notes to ensure all plans and desires would happen. We found out that not only was Julissa a talented videographer, but that she and Jason also ran Ever After Aruba, a wedding coordinating company. I wish I knew sooner as I knew they would have made everything perfect, but all our wedding planner agreements were already signed.

Their correspondence leading up to the wedding was great, and they were probably the only vendor I felt completely confident and secure with.

When we arrived to the island, they kept in touch by calling our hotel and via email and we never felt worried about anything.

The day of the wedding my bridal party was running behind schedule getting ready.

Jason, his hair and makeup artist, Julissa and three other photographers and videographers showed up on time, and despite our delay, began shooting everything they could and helping me to finish get ready. They even helped carry all our items and escort my parents.

Jason knows everyone on the island and is a well liked man. He informed our limo driver we were a few minutes late and the limo driver was suddenly understanding (wasn’t when we told him).

He took all the shots I really wanted and made me feel calm when I was anxious because we were late.

My parents, sister and sister-in-law all made comments about how thankful they were he was there.

Since he does many events, he had much more experience and helped us figure out how to tie my corset, when to bustle my dress and offered much direction.

I honestly felt like everything was going to be ok because he was there – and this wasn’t event his job or what we hired him for!

The team he brought was dressed incredibly well and professional (black suits and white ties) and helped keep onlookers back since they stood on the outside of the ceremony location.

He directed us and helped organize our group since there was little direction from the venue.

Throughout the entire event they constantly took pictures and video but we never noticed they were doing so much as they were careful to not disrupt intimate moments.

We even asked Jason to stay longer and he did without any problems.

The team really helped raised our event to the next level as they helped organize everything and kept things moving along smoothly by gently reminding us what we wanted out of the pictureswhich coincided with helping the event move along beautifully and smoothly.

I can’t believe how much care and extra support Jason’s team provided which helped me feel relaxed and much more satisfied with the entire day.
We were already pleased with their services and had yet to even see our pictures. :)

The “trash the dress” session was something I was really looking forward to, and thankfully, it was included in our package. They were very accommodating on the time, as we opted to change it last minute since we wanted sunshine and the mornings were a bit cloudy that week.

Jason and Julissa took us to several locations which was more than we expected. I also felt like they gave us much more time than they should have, and as artists, they stood in the beating afternoon sun until they got each shot right. We couldn’t have been more happy with the time and care that was put into this several hour shoot.

Some of the locations were difficult to get to and Jason helped my fiancé and I get where we needed to be so it was perfect.

I even got his Explorer soak and wet and sandy and he totally made me feel comfortable, and kept us laughing the entire day.

When we got back to the studio, the first reason we booked Jason was clear. He began to show us pictures which I can honestly say exceeded our expectations. They were all so gorgeous (thewedding day and the trash the dress). He gave us so many, that over a week later, I am still trying to get through them and decide between so many amazing pictures.
This is definitely the hardest part!

The day we were leaving he even brought all our raw video footage on an external drive to the airport for us. He continued to go above and beyond since the day we first contacted him.

Any questions or concerns we had during our trip, he went out of his way to help by putting us in contact with people and even stopping at places we needed to get to.

When we said goodbye, we actually felt sad because he really held our hand when we need guidance and support.

We will have his beautiful workaround our home and our families homes for the rest of our lives and I will tell anyone, that if they want to ensure satisfaction with their Aruba wedding, they need to book Jason Margarita! I would even suggest they book Ever After Aruba to coordinate their event so they can be worry free and not overcharged since Jason and Julissa know everyone on the island.

Our last day we saw a couple that came to Aruba to plan their upcoming wedding, and we felt compelled to tell them about Jason right away. I was so satisfied that I will tell everyone who knows anyone going to Aruba to get hitched, about Jason.

It sounds like everything is too good to be true, but I needed to be detailed and to share everything as I have noticed many vendors on the island getting work because a resort or planner has been working with them so long. Even if their work is not good, they get booked(small island/old school mentality). Jason is busy because his work is superior, he has fair prices and everyone loves to work with him. He and Julissa work sooo hard and so much because they are passionate and love what they do. I can’t believe how busy they are and how they are so motivated, professional and producers of such fine work.

Best wedding decision we made… HANDSDOWN!

Our 30th wedding anniversary was approaching and I thought it would be nice if I could surprise my wife with a renewal ceremony. Well what can I say and what I do say probably won't be enough to stress how fantastic Jason Margarita and his team at Ever After Aruba are! From the get go (when we were initially planning our photographer for the wedding), Jason and Evita replied asap to any query or question we had. They made the whole process of choosing a photographer from the many found in Aruba, easy! All the reviews I have seen based on them have been fantastic and I can see why. Well what can I say and what I do say probably won't be enough to stress how fantastic Jason Margarita and his team at Ever After Aruba are! From the get go (when we were initially planning our photographer for the wedding), Jason and Evita replied asap to any query or question we had. They made the whole process of choosing a photographer from the many found in Aruba, easy! All the reviews I have seen based on them have been fantastic and I can see why. They were all so efficient, professional, kind, friendly and put us at ease from the start. They were all so organised and the whole day went without a hitch and so smoothly thanks to their efficiency. I have so far only seen the raw material unedited and I love them. I can't wait to see the finished product because what he has shown us so far is beautiful and we are so delighted! Any bride out there who is trying to pick a photographer......CHOOSE EVER AFTER ARUBA, you will not be disappointed I promise you!!!! I can't thank them enough for capturing our day and doing it so professionally. Not once did we get fed up of our pictures being taken because the team were so organised and managed the day to a 'T'. I had my hair and make-up done by Allan, who was AMAZING! So sweet and friendly and offered super advice which I gladly accepted. The make-up, the hair and everything was beautiful and managed to stay in place for the whole day!!! He made 1 bride and 3 bridesmaids extremely happy and feeling beautiful and did it with ease!! I want to say a big THANK YOU to you all because I honestly cannot stress how amazing you all were and I want to wish you all the best.....I know you're company will go from strength to strength!!

My wedding day has come and gone and our vacation has come to an end. I religiously followed every post on this forum and I think it is only fair I add my experience to it. It was not as glamorous and pretty as most of the posts and the reality versus the perception of what you think you will be getting has a big gap in between.

Important!
- Do your research!!! People do not like to complain online, and finding bad reviews about something is hard! Most couples who are happy write reviews, and that kind of screws you up when you reading pure good reviews of one place and don't ever believe their brochures brides...

It was not as glamorous and pretty as most of the posts and the reality versus the perception of what you think you will be getting has a big gap in between.

Important!
- Do your research!!! People do not like to complain online, and finding bad reviews about something is hard! Most couples who are happy write reviews, and that kind of screws you up when you reading pure good reviews of one place and don't ever believe their brochures brides who got married at the RIU can agree with me, their brochures are amazing and when they send it to you via e-mail you fall in love, and none of the pictures in the brochure are not even from Aruba!
- Get a contract and review it, review it, review it!!! They tried overcharging us almost $1200 and they would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for my husband being an accountant. Your contract is your only backup and your lifeline so make sure everything is on black and white.
- Start EARLY!!! With everything. Aruba has this really big flaw which is slowness in EVERYTHING! They take so much time to get anything done it's really ridiculous. I asked Abigail once if I can have red roses instead of white ones, and it took her 9 days to reply to that e-mail!!!

Suggestions
- Booking Jason margarita will be your biggest headache, but make sure you get him and none of the photographer's the hotel recommends! We planned for March wedding and he was fully booked, so we moved it to April and he was fully booked as well!!! So my husband decided to shop around, and it took a week but we were back to Jason, the other websites looked cheap and in many cases when you are researching photographer's on the Island they look real dull and old fashioned. And then we tried bringing our own photographer and the cost was way to high so my husband send Jason an e-mail asking what days he had available in May and he literally send us two dates so we picked one and finally booked him. And all the headache was worth it, he is really amazing beyond believe and he made our wedding worth it in many ways. The way he handled our guests and the way he handled me was amazing. I've read were a bride called him the bride whisperer and he lives up to that title completely.
- Alcohol! It's very important for your vacation and make sure you don't buy it at the Hotel the price will kill you! Go to certified supermarket and they have a liquor mart that sells alcohol at half the price of the hotel. It helps when you want to spend time with the friends outside the hotel. And all-inclusive at the RIU does not really mean all-inclusive they have a drink maximum and they do not bring drinks to the room and you can't order more than one drink per person, so everyone needs to walk to the bar.
- Demand security on the beach during your ceremony! We had about 60 to 70 people all around our wedding on the beach and my husband had to move people off our chairs when he got down to the beach. Jason's assistant literally had to move people from beyond our arch and keep them away because they would just come back and stand there. So demand for the hotel to put security on the beach to keep people from disturbing your wedding.
- Sunset in Aruba is between 6:30 and 7:00pm so do not make a 6:30 dinner reservation. Thank god Jason is huge and nobody says anything to him, he said we are doing our sunset shoot and everyone lowered their head and let him take us back to the beach. Supposedly you lose your wedding dinner reservation unless you and your whole wedding party is sitting in the restaurant at 6:30pm. And there is no way around it, so make sure not to do this, cause they make you chose between pictures at sunset or dinner.
- Send pictures of everything you want!! If you want a specific cake, send a picture and confirm they received and make sure to take it down to the restaurant once you arrive in Aruba, and make sure the restaurant manager to see the picture. We did all that and we still ended up with the wrong cake, a one tier cake, chocolate and we asked for a 3 tier cake red velvet. Restaurant blamed it on the planner and the planner blamed it on the restaurant and it was the most important thing for me at my wedding.

I hope this helps others planning a wedding in Aruba. And make sure you do the trash the dress, my dress cost me about $980 and I am very happy I got to trash it, it was fun it was exhilarating and amazing.

And for all those who do not know this yet, ABIGAIL HAS BEEN FIRED FROM THE RIU!!!

Jason & his team war really great! They helped me create my beautiful wedding day in only 4 weeks and all through emails/text! Jason was very concerned about making sure I got exactly what I wanted for my big day, & he make it work! I loved the pictures & can't wait to see the video footage!

We hired Jason Margarita Photography & Studio for our destination wedding this past June. Jason and his wife handled the entire event for us, from make up to the ceremony to the cake and everything in between and we were very happy. Jason and his staff were entertaining and accomodating and we loved working with them. We also loved our photo's. Jason has a very calm demeanor which is very helpful during one of the most stressful days of your life.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jason! It was a great experience!!

Things started out ok with Jason Margarita and his wife Evita Julissa of Ever After Aruba. We contacted them on 8/30/12 for availability and they responded that same evening. As it got closer to the wedding date, we noticed the response time was lacking. There was a span of time where it was weeks before we finally got a response via email. There was a point where we actually weren't sure if we would have a photographer once we got to the island. Jason and his team did what they were supposed to do while were were still on the island. We received a DVD of the raw videos on one of the very last days that we were on the island. However, once we left the island, Jason and Evita's responses slowed down drastically and there seemed to always be an excuse as to why, first, our video was not edited/finished, then why we had not received our edited wedding photo album. The contract that we signed stated that we would receive our edited wedding items within 5 weeks of our wedding date. Today, it is almost 6 months after our wedding and we have yet to receive a single edited photo of our wedding day. After voicing a complaint to the Aruba Chamber of Commerce, Evita let us know that due to our complaint, she would not have time to edit our video and sent us an incomplete video with long unedited clips of our wedding night. Then, Jason got involved and tried to make us think he was going above and beyond his duties of "personally taking over our case." The video was edited and we finally received a copy. Jason sent us a fake tracking number for our photo album. Weeks went by, still excuse after excuse as to why we didn't have a tracking number for our album. After we began including the Aruba Chamber of Commerce on our emails, Jason stopped responding to us and still have not received our album. The Chamber of Commerce has not responded to us once. We have now contacted our credit card company to help us.

We hired them for our entire wedding-civil coordination, hair/make-up, beach setup, photog/video and TTD shoot. They told us in our pre-wedding meeting that the steel pan player raised his prices and gave us the choice to pay double or cut the time in half. We foolishly cut the time in half,which meant we didn’t have music for our first dance so we didn’t have a dance at all. They should have told us this well in advance of our arrival to the island. IMO, they should have eaten that cost as most professionals would have done. After the TTD shoot Jason informed me that I needed to buy an external hard drive if I wanted all of my raw pics/video-another blindside that cost me more money and time running around-even though the contract said they would provide the raw materials. I was so looking forward to the TTD, and I only got 3 pictures that are pretty good. And the worst part ever was that it took over 4 months to get our picture book and video. I spent 4 months emailing only to hear excuse after excuse and finally had to get our credit card company (CCC) involved. In the end we had to file a dispute with the CCC to get the picture book/video which is completely unacceptable business practice. To top it all off our video is poor quality. The video of our civil ceremony is cut off and the option to select the scenes doesn’t work.

I'm sorry to say but I am not satisfied with the services I received or should I say haven't received yet from this photographer. First off he was always terrible at responding to emails to the point I didn't even know if I had a photographer 2 days so the coordinator was helping me look for one last minute. Next when I did finally get ahold of him he was late to meet and discuss the wedding day. The services itself were good however we paid for a package that includes a CD of pictures, a wedding album and videography. 9 months later all I have received is a CD with unedited pictures... My husband and I have nothing...

I'm sorry to say but I am not satisfied with the services I received or should I say haven't received yet from this photographer. First off he was always terrible at responding to emails to the point I didn't even know if I had a photographer 2 days so the coordinator was helping me look for one last minute. Next when I did finally get ahold of him he was late to meet and discuss the wedding day. The services itself were good however we paid for a package that includes a CD of pictures, a wedding album and videography. 9 months later all I have received is a CD with unedited pictures... My husband and I have nothing but pictures on a CD to look back and remember what was the most important day of our life. Proceed with extreme caution if booking with this service and demand that you receive all services you paid for so you don't get taken advantage of like it did. I wish I had listened to my hotels wedding coordinator when she warned me :(

But, since we are from Philly and he is in Aruba I am sure that is what he is relying on. It was difficult emailing and getting replies pre wedding from him and his team but it only got worse post wedding.There was always a story and an excuse...he lost our email, out email must have gone to his spam, he tried to mail the photos but they were returned... The day had some merit, the beach ceremony was lovely. I am certainly grateful to be married, but we have never received our documents or...
