What a Joyful and unique place !

God surly was everywhere in this place !
The Chapel is gorgeous and Judy was sweet and actually felt more like Family than business. The reception was wonderful under the huge tree where the stars came in just so perfect. Judy was a God sent she made my job a lot easier, she definitely knows her business. I’m definitely going to spread the word . God definitely has His hand on Her !
Thank you Judy we love you !

Most relaxed and authentic wedding place

Wed 3/9/2019, We were able to bring our own buffet meal, drinks, pastor and decorations/ They were very flexible and 93 guest had a great time eating and dancing under the stars. Love the old bath tub for iced down drinks. Had salad bars out in garden for guest while pictures were taken & hot buffet and cake inside after bride and groom (KYLE & REGAN MILLER) were announce. Most authentic and relaxed

This venue was so beautiful! I am so pleased we went with Ever After Chapel for our ceremony and reception. The overall aesthetic perfectly captured the look we were trying to achieve without really needing to add any kind of decorations. The chapel is so vintage and cute. The pictures on the website don't even do it justice! I was impressed just seeing it in person. Judy was very easy to work with and accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend this venue.

Charming & Unique - Please read all positive and negative

Please read the entire review, as there are both positive and negative comments.
Ever After Chapel in Aubrey, Texas has charm and unique character. The building is 150 years old with original wood, windows, and flooring. The chapel itself needs little to nothing to have a beautiful ceremony. I would recommend you ONLY rent out only this portion of the venue. If you choose to rent out the entire place for the day please continue to read. Lets begin with the parking, very limited and there are no designated signs where the parking is. It is a grassy field on the southwest side of the chapel. The outside (yard) has great twinkling lights and a firepit (you need to provide your own wood.) You are able to use outside vendors, DJ, and photographers. If you rent a dance floor you must use the one Judy (manages the place) states. With that being said, the floor installers came the day of the wedding and placed the floor down in the area under the lights. Judy did not like it there and had them pull it up and move it over. It was then uneven with many ridges sticking up. We felt the guests would trip and the structural engineer stated it was a hazard too, but Judy wanted it there. Judy is the person we did all our communication and contract with. She made it appear that we would have free range to set up as we saw fit and there would be onsite help. This was absolutely not the case. I will bullet the following things you need to be aware of if you choose to use Ever After Chapel.
$3000 for chapel and back yard, plus $150 for rehearsal for 1.5 hours
Inside Room(IR) for cake/food/etc, lights worked on only ½ of the room.
Bride room, no lights, no air
AC was not on or did not work
IR was very dirty, live and dead bugs present
    IR no running water
IR you are unable to move tables or any furniture. This made thing VERY difficult
    IR bartenders/caters NOT allowed
There are a couple of other items to consider when using this venue.
Tables and chairs for reception are very dated and many were held together with gray tape; they need to be replaced.
There is no assistance with set up or breakdown. Website states “You make the choices, and we take care of all the details,” “Our wedding packages eliminate the stress of putting together your special day and eliminate the added expense of an outside wedding coordinator,” Not true. Judy was onsite the entire time and was very intrusive and made setting up very difficult at times. Examples to follow:
During rehearsal she wanted everyone to remove their shoes
Had the dance floor removed to a less level area
Wanted/tried to have the wedding party come in the chapel in the order she suggested
Sat in the room, monitoring the IR, made us feel very uncomfortable.
Should have been on site if she felt it necessary, but in an office or somewhere, not with wedding guests.
Gave our photo booth installer a very difficult time about NOT wanting to move 2 chairs that were not needed in the area of the booth.
At the time of the reception, stated why we didn't get security since booze would be on site. This was NEVER mentioned verbally or on the contract.
Structural engineer was called out twice. He was at the wedding with his dog.
Judy provided some good suggestions to where the DJ should set up, as well as where the guest book should be. Overall, I wish I would have known several of the bullets prior to selecting this venue. The Chapel is quaint and I’d recommend that portion ONLY, if you are willing to pay $1500.
