The food for our wedding was amazing, as expected. However, what really stood out was the Chef and staff's absolute enthusiasm for the theme, and their passionate expression of their talents through the meals. Our wedding was Medieval-Fantasy/Lord of The Rings themed, and the chefs went out of their way to research real authentic medieval cuisine with an inspired twist, which really made the event truly magical. I would also like to thank Tracy for her amazing customer service and eagerness to bring the magic to life.

I was told by multiple guests that this was the best wedding food they had ever had. The dishes all highlighted local foods and were cooked to perfection. The wedding day team was great. Perfectly cooked and plated, even when working in a tent with no power and using our home kitchen to cook salmon for 50 people. All of them were fun and professional.

A special thank you to colleen, my primary contact, who went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. I started working with Colleen a year before the wedding and she stepped in to act as a de facto coordinator. She took over organizing the rentals, helped me lay out the floor plan, and gave me so many great ideas. We had to change our venue three months out, but she didn’t let it phase her and immediately started planning how to shift from a full chefs kitchen to a tent in a backyard. I (almost) want to have another wedding just so I can work with Artemis again.

We had a small 20 person wedding in Hood River and Artemis was an excellent full service caterer. Tracy and Lauren were responsive in the planning phase and the food was great on the big day. Many thanks to the Artemis team.

Artemis Foods was 100% the right choice for our wedding.
First and most importantly all of the food was delicious, and not just for wedding food. I'm still receiving compliments.
We loved that the food was local and seasonal. Really showed off NW flavors to our visiting East Coast family members.
Finally Lauren was wonderful to work with. We had to move our date several times due to the pandemic and she was so flexible and gracious. From the beginning everything was well planned and laid out, and the wedding itself went flawlessly.
I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

The food and staff are worth every penny! Once we had a tasting, we were sold on choosing Artemis. They were great to work with in creating the menu to accommodate dietary restraints (including the groom who is vegetarian) and kids menus. At the wedding, the staff were professional and experienced and did a great job. All the guests raved about the food.

I worked closely with Mike at Artemis Foods. I knew I wanted great food and quality drinks and I left the rest up to him since he is the expert. He developed a menu that was TO DIE FOR and totally worked within our budget to bring great alcohol for the price. I have some total foodies in my family and everyone was impressed with the food, they even asked the wait staff for their recipes! It felt more like we were out to eat at a nice restaurant rather than typical "wedding food."

A month later I am still being told how wonderful the food was at our wedding. After interviewing a few catering candidates, we settled on Grace and Artemis because of their commitment to local and sustainable sources. We had most of our guests coming to our wedding from out of town, and wanted to spend a big portion of our wedding budget showcasing our favorite thing ever: food...so it seemed fitting that we serve steak, salmon and tons of local vegetables. Every bite was absolutely incredible. We had a smaller wedding (50) so had family style table service, which was flawless. We had a few meetings with Grace before the wedding to go over every portion of the menu, and got down to every detail of the day. Grace had such great suggestions for us, and she and her team made sure our day was perfect. I cannot thank her enough for her part in our wedding. I will never forget what a wonderful meal we had. While her services are not cheap, they are definitely worth it!!!

Heidi was wonderful and easy to work with from the first day I called her. She took care of everything: menu, tables, linens, dessert, beverages, equipment, scheduling, and next day pick up and worked so well with both me and my sister who hosted the event at her house. I lost count of how many of my guests asked me for their name and card. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. At the event,we also worked with Erin who was very professional and even made up plates for guests who missed the main buffet having arrived too late. This I found out after the event. Everyone in attendance raved about the food and how it was the best event food they had ever tasted. not only was the food delicious but the presentation was gorgeous and Stephanie and the rest of her team were a dream to work with.

If i ever host another event I will use Artemis! They provided an exceptional service, amazing food at a very fair price!

Inviting so many out of town guests to Portland, OR for our wedding we hoped for two things: good weather and great food. We're foodies in Portland and wanted to stay away from the typical wedding buffet fare. We're still hearing comments about how great the food was! From ensuring there were vegetarian and gluten free options to accommodating last minute requests, Stephanie and Tess were unbelievable. We met several times before the big day to plan timelines, table layouts and menus. They were there to provide an opinion when asked for but encouraged me to lay out my vision for our big day. When our wedding arrived I felt relaxed, knowing that everything was in capable hands. Artemis handled our decor as well as our catering. Tess was able to execute the ideas I had based only pictures from Pintrist. The result was better than I could imagine. I attribute a large amount of the success of our wedding and how stress free I felt leading up to it to Artemis. Thanks to Stephanie and Tess I was able to just enjoy the love of all our family and friends. I would highly recommend using them and will certainly be using them again!

With Artemis, you don't have to choose between great food and great service. We got so many compliments from our guests about the food, and we felt so well cared for before, during and after the event. Artemis really went the extra mile to make sure we got the specific wine we had in mind, the atmosphere we hoped for, and that everyone was attended to. Thank you, Artemis!

People are still talking about how good the food was at our wedding six months later! We knew Artemis had a great reputation for food, but they also covered the wedding/reception decor, it was fantastic. Having them take care of both made the process much easier for us. We had a happy hour, the wedding ceremony and reception all in the same location and they had seamless changes in between each set-up. They were calm and organized, responsive and had great ideas to offer. We wanted the decor to be simple but classy and they were able to make it a really wonderful, warm environment, just as we wanted. I highly recommend them for any event!

Artemis catered our daughter's wedding, and it was a terrific experience to work with Stephanie. We had never planned such a large party, and she was wonderfully attentive to every detail: from menu planning to presentation to dietary needs of some of the guests. The food was lovely, delicious, and local- and we especially appreciated that there was even a plan to donate any leftovers. We received many compliments, and we are pleased to recommend Artemis as an excellent vendor!

Artemis Foods may be the single best decision we made for our wedding. We found them because they were in the list of preferred caterers for our wedding venue (The Gerding Theater at the Armory). Artemis proved to be the most responsive and the best bang for your buck. We still have guests telling us it was the best food at a wedding they have ever had. Stephanie, who is the main contact, is incredibly reliable, thorough, and very flexible with any changes you may want to make. She has a lot of experience so she was able to give us plenty of advice and suggestions when asked. She always emailed revisions when she said she was going to. The Food. Where do we begin? Artemis was the only place that had two meats for the same price when all the other places we had estimates from only included one meat. We loved that our guests could have steak AND chicken without choosing. One of my bridesmaid is a vegetarian and she said she ate a whole plate of the roasted vegetables. We decided to provide our own beer and wine which they were very accommodating. The bartenders were very knowledgeable about our selections which they did not know ahead of time. The staff was incredibly efficient and contentious, the head table even had their own server! I saw many guest go to the buffet for seconds and several others commenting that they ate so much they didn't have room to drink. Overall, we got what we paid for! The best food, the best service and the best wedding! We couldn't be more happy with Stephanie and the Artemis team.

A 5+ star caterer!
Artemis Foods catered a full sit down meal at my daughter’s wedding party at my home and I cannot overstate what a very fine service they delivered. The food was superb. A large proportion of the guests commented on its gourmet quality, many saying they had never had such delicious food at a wedding, and others saying it had been a long time since they had had such good food at all. The staff managed to be totally unobtrusive while at the same time attending to every detail, serving hors d’oeuvres, making coffee and tea, providing the courses with perfect timing. They set up the tables beautifully, accommodated our need for changes, made excellent suggestions, cleaned as they worked so when they left, the house was tidy and guests continued to party, oblivious to any change in table arrangement etc. Food preparation was done outside the kitchen leaving that as additional space to mingle, get drinks etc. I cannot recommend them too highly on quality of food as well as service. Stephanie was super responsive and helpful. We took forever to decide on things, and so we were trying to pull things together at the last minute and Artemis definitely made it happen without stress!

Everett west is a beautiful blank canvas. The space allows you to design what you want. The windows bring in a lovely amount of light, and with the courtyard, you have the ability to move freely from inside to outside. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and will help create an amazing experience. I cant recommend Everett West enough!

We loved Artemis! Stephanie was incredibly helpful - we felt completely confident leaving everything in her hands. Our guests loved the food. We would absolutely recommend Artemis.

We used Grace with Artemis Foods as the caterer for our daughter's wedding. All the comments from our friends were, "that was the best food I have ever had at a wedding." I would highly recommend not only the quality of the food but the service and responsiveness to our requests. It was a wonderful experience!

The food was a STAR at our wedding and it something that folks comment of favorably every time! I was so happy I chose this company. I thought it was a bit clumsy when they asked for another $100 after the event. We paid them but after all of the money we spent, we considered it their accounting error.

My only complaint is that my wife and I weren't able to eat more of the food! I tried to not eat while folks were giving toasts, and then there was so much mingling! Once my wife and I were able to get back to our plates, they had been taken away.
All of our guests said everything was absolutely delicious though!

I had my wedding catered by Artemis and I worked primarily with Stephanie. After the first meeting I decided that paying a little more than I had originally budgeted for catering was worth it because I felt Stephanie would be a great resource for creating the wedding I wanted. Stephanie was extremely helpful and responsive at every step of the planning process from choosing rental dishes and linens to crafting the schedule of events on the actual day of the wedding. The Artemis staff was great on wedding day! They provided delicious, beautifully presented vegetarian food and high quality, professional service throughout the night from set up to clean up. I felt that a lot of stress was taken off of my shoulders because I could trust Stephanie and team to make everything run smoothly.

Excellent food, first and for most. Stephanie and Tess from Artemis were easy to work with and with their experience with the venue helped me with wedding details I would never have thought of. The staff was great, friendly bartenders. Artemis also did a very fun tasting plate for us before the event, allowing us to try the dishes we were looking at for our menu. Great experience all around, and again, I'd like to stress how good the food was.
