Hiring Everly Films was the greatest decision we made! I was pretty unsure about even having a wedding video just because I wasn't really sure that I would care to watch it all that often later. However, my mom insisted that I have one so thus began the search. I literally watched hundreds and hundreds of videos trying to find one that I would enjoy watching. So many other videographers chose to focus on the party afterwards as the highlights of the video but I just loved when I saw Jay's work I saw that he really chose the meaningful moments throughout the whole the wedding. He has a gift of being able to convey through the film a feeling of love and excitement and that is a video that I can watch a thousand times over!
Jay was SO easy to work with and just so great! He was not in your face throughout the wedding he was just relaxed, professional, and really knew what he was looking for. He has such a natural talent and made the video so beautiful! He even uploaded stills from the video that were gorgeous! If we hadn't hired Jay I know I would be so crushed. It is so crazy how quickly the day passes by and it is such a relief to know that we can relive those amazing moments with pleasure, thanks to Jay!

Words keep failing us when we try and describe how absolutely incredibly Jay Worsley is. He not only spent an entire day taking photos and video of our elopement, he also spent hours just driving to the location! Of course it had to be off the beaten path nestled in the middle of nowhere... that's always where all of the world's beauty is, right?!
He is not only talented, but hilarious, fun to be with, and basically just one of the best guys anyone would be lucky enough to get to know... he brought so much of the magic into our special day! Gosh how do I even begin to find words to describe how awesome Jay was? He shot and filmed my wedding and then we hired him again to shoot our reception (which we had a couple months after the ceremony). He is incredible! He went way above and beyond. He helped us pick the most beautiful spot to have our ceremony, and the shots he got during and afterwards were just breathtaking. He has such a warm, joyful, and uplifting soul that it made us feel more comfortable when being shot. He actually made this a very enjoyable event even though my wife and I hate pictures. He is very easy to get along with. His secondary shooter, Corrie was so encouraging and uplifting as well. She had tons of enthusiasm in her and was very nice to be around. They are a great team and we now have the most incredible wedding photos and video that we will treasure for the rest of our lives, thanks to them. Everly Films photographed my brother in law's wedding and I was so impressed with their photos and video footage. So when my husband and I got engaged, Jay was the first person we called! He was very flexible when we changed the date of our wedding. Leading up to the wedding he was very good about communicating with us and getting a sense of who we were without flooding us with questions and emails. The day of the wedding was a dream! Jay and his assistant were both very calm and professional. They kept things moving without being pushy. They made my husband and I feel very comfortable and calm. When it came time for family photos, people showed up late and Jay was extremely kind and patient as we took and retook pictures as family members arrived. We have had so many ask us who photographed our wedding after they have seen the trailer and photos. I met Jay of Everly Films when we both worked the same wedding last April in Lake Tahoe. My partner and I were the photographers so we collaborated on many shots together and worked alongside each other most of the day. He was absolutely the best to work with! I was planning my own wedding at the time and wasn't considering having a cinematographer there, but after seeing the video he created for Rebecca & Damiano I was sold!
The day of my wedding I was amazed at how stealth he was. He was such a calm presence when he was around. With an amazingly artistic eye and an incredible sense of timing he captured all of the best aspects of our wedding without being obvious in doing so.
My husband and I have one word to describe our wedding day - magical. What Jay delivered to us is best described by the same word - magical. The video arrived faster than we anticipated and as we watched, our hearts swelled and our eyes teared up. It is amazing how well he captured the feel of our wedding day! We were so blown away by what an incredible job he had done that we watched it at least a dozen times that first day, then at least once a day after that!
I can't recommend Jay enough! I am so grateful to have met him. He is not only one of the nicest guys, but from a vendor standpoint he is a dream to work with and as a client I feel so lucky that he was there to capture our wedding day. The quality of the video is stunning - it is cinematic. It is filled with emotion and will instantly remind you of all the feelings you had on your wedding day. Jay is brilliantly talented and is one of the best decisions you will make for your wedding! His incredible gift will last you a lifetime and bring you happiness whenever you watch it.

ohhhhh Everly Films...Where do I even start??? First off, we searched and searched and searched some more for a solid and talented cinematography business to document our wedding. After several months of searching we almost gave up. THEN...just like a miracle from the sky, Everly Films fell into our laps. We literally called them up within 2 minutes of looking at their website and said, "you're hired...what do we need to do to make this official."
Secondly, Jay and Chelsea have a talent OFF THE CHARTS!!! I have been following their work for a little over a year, and just when I think "Wow that was the most incredible wedding video EVER!" They blow me away even MORE with the one to follow. All to say, the marking of an incredible photographer/videographer is one who continues to refine their skill and get better with each shoot. That is something I see in Jay and Chelsea. They are always refining their skills and introducing new techniques that will BLOW YOUR MIND!
Jay documented our "Love Story" a couple of months back and it was the BEST experience we have had. I would HIGHLY recommend investing into the Love Story option they offer. He made us feel so comfortable around him. It was almost like we forgot he was a professional holding a camera. It felt more like we were hanging out with a best friend. This really helped to capture the TRUE essence of our love. It didn't seem staged or forced.
Him and Chelsea also documented our wedding day. I can't rave enough about HOW AMAZING they work as a team. They went ABOVE-AND-BEYOND for us. They made me feel comfortable. So comfortable that I forgot they were there! They were by our side during every important part of our wedding. They didn't miss a beat! We are SO BLESSED we found them. Not only did we find THE BEST cinematography business...EVER. We also found two wonderful human beings who have become our friends!
HIRE them for your wedding...I promise you WILL NOT regret it! They are SO AMAZING!!!

It is so hard to put into words how lovely and beautiful and MAGICAL Jay of Everly Films art truly is! The moments he captured were purely SENSATIONAL!! Every new clip brings us back to the exact moment to relive our beautiful day.
It is INCREDIBLE how quick Jay was able to put our "sneak peek" together and how much we didn't even know he was there, even though our video says he was with us every step of the way. Without having a video we would have missed out on all the little moments that made our day that much more special and that truly touched our hearts. I can not sing him enough praises and will do so for the rest of our lives!!
I am a Wedding & Event Planner and have worked with a slew of vendors and honestly I have never worked with someone who is so down to earth, professional and who made us feel comfortable all along the way. Having Everly Films was a dream for my wife and I. Going into our senior year at ASU we really couldn't afford a video person and really could only hope it somehow would work out. We prayed and prayed about it and then were told by a mutual friend about Everly Films and their Bride on a Budget Give Away Contest. We went bananas. We honestly put so much effort and fight into winning this competition because we had seen how great Everly's work was! We ended up winning the contest and had one of our dreams come true! Jay was so awesome and easy to work with, very personable and even though we met the day of the wedding we felt we had known him forever! He was super professional in every aspect and you could tell he knew his stuff! We felt very confident in him and never once doubted how much of an amazing job he would do capturing our day. We can honestly say we watch our video once a month if not more! It brings us right back to the day that changed our lives and made us one! God could have not blessed us more with such an amazing video and doing so through Everly Films. Thanks so much Everly! You guys are truly talented in every sense of the word, and we cannot thank you enough!

Before i found Everly, I had watched- and I kid you not, HUNDREDS of wedding videos. After my hunt, nearing the end of my patience with it all and wanting to give up on "the one", I found Everly Films (they were featured on SMP) and fell in love. Their work is amazing, and they are completely nonintrusive the day-of and are just a solid husband-and-wife team. They captured everything and the best part of it all, was getting to watch my trailer and relive the best day ever all over again a week later! Everly is worth every pretty penny and candidly, you are getting way more than you're paying for! You simply can't go wrong.

Not only that, but his editing work made my wedding seem like a movie! He didn't just shoot straight film, he actually made the film entertaining to watch by capturing the most important parts. He did fantastic work and I would recommend him to everyone that wants to capture a special day on film!!Jay from Everly Films did a far better job than I could have imagined. He was easy to work with and captured my wedding better than I could have imagined!!! Not only that, but his editing work made my wedding seem like a movie! There were parts of the video (like the reveal) that I had not seen in person and would not have been able to see "live" without the video. I love the music choices and the attention to detail. Jay and Chelsea were amazing. They provided a fun and comfortable environment for our wedding, and at the same time we almost didn't know they were there. They caught every special moment on our day without being forceful or in the way. I would find it hard to believe that any couple (or person for that matter) would not get along with them. You naturally feel okay with them filming you because they are so great to be around. We got our 'preview' video within a week or so after the wedding, and could not have been more pleased. All of our family and friends who have seen it immediately fell in love, as did we.
One of my favorite things about Everly is the timeless feel that comes with every video. They have the ability to truly capture the essence of what you are doing, wether it be a wedding or anything else!Jay and Chelsea were amazing. They provided a fun and comfortable environment for our wedding, and at the same time we almost didn't know they were there. They caught every special moment on our day without being forceful or in the way. I would find it hard to believe that any couple (or person for that matter) would not get along with them. You naturally feel okay with them filming you because they are so great to be around. We got our 'preview' video within a week or so after the wedding, and could not have been more pleased. All of our family and friends who have seen it immediately fell in love, as did we.
One of my favorite things about Everly is the timeless feel that comes with every video. They have the ability to truly capture the essence of what you are doing, wether it be a wedding or anything else! -

Jay and Chelsea are such an amazing team. They flew in from Arizona to California the day of the wedding and jumped right into filming. We really loved how it didn't feel like we were being filmed and we never had to tell them where to be they just knew! About 4 days after the wedding, they already had a trailer ready so family and friends who couldn't make it could feel like they were part of our special day, and the family and friends that were there could remember how amazing it was. So happy with everything and if you need a videographer, Jay and Chelsea are it!Jay and Chelsea are such an amazing team. They did an amazing job in filming the wedding. We have great friends that recommended them and are so glad we went with Everly Films. The wedding trailer was superb. I wish that we could get married again just so that we could hire Everly Films to be our videographers again.
I was a little concerned with having a videographer because I didn't want two extra people to be a distraction during our ceremony, but Jay and Chelsea arrived on our wedding day and were so professional that we barely even noticed that they were there. They are so sweet and helpful and really went above and beyond to make everything wonderful on my wedding day.
We actually received our wedding trailer only four days after our wedding while we were on our Honeymoon.... we were on a "no electronics policy," but we seriously sat in our hotel room and watched the trailer probably 15 times in amazement. They got every single shot that I could have ever wanted and their work is absolutely beautiful. We were absolutely blown away!
We received our package with the footage of the whole day and ceremony last night and I couldn't believe how much time and thought went into every detail of the package and it's contents. Bottom line..... Jay and Chelsea go above and beyond in every single way. They are insanely talented and our wedding video and trailer are truly priceless. Thank you again guys- we couldn't have imagined not having you there on our big day!I wish that we could get married again just so that we could hire Everly Films to be our videographers again.

Jay and Chelsea are the ULTIMATE husband/wife team! Not only are they INSANELY talented and amazing at what they do, they are incredibly nice and genuinely GREAT people. They compliment eachother so well and they bring that positive nature and vibe to your event.
I hired Jay and Chelsea as the videographers for our wedding and I am SO glad that I did! They arrived on time and immediately got to filiming EVERY part of the day... we actually received a funny compliment from our guests and that was they didn't even notice them filming- Jay and Chelsea were like ninjas throughout the day! Which was great, because it never seemed like they were 'in the way'. They managed to capture EVERY moment, EVERY detail while being in the background.
Later on in the night, I had gotten sick and thought for sure that they would head out because I was in the lockerroom for the later part of the reception and that was past our contracted filming time.... I was wrong- Jay and Chelsea stayed past the time to wait for me to feel better, and I am so thankful they did because they were able to catch our speeches and some dancing with me and the hubby.
I honestly could not be more thrilled with Jay and Chelsea and the services they provided for my special day. They were able to take 9+ hours of film and condense it to a beautifully edited piece complete with a 4 minute trailer that still makes me cry every time I watch it. I love Everly Films and cannot say enough how lucky we were to have them as videographers on our wedding day!!! Jay and Chelsea are such a pleasure to work with and gave us an incredible video to document our special day. When I first started planning my wedding, I didn't think we would be having a videographer. Then someone told me about Everly Films and I have been thankful ever since!! Now when I hear that other people are planning their weddings, the first thing I mention is how important I thought our videograpers were and I recommend Jay and Chelsea!! There is something extremely special about being able to re-live that perfect day and it goes by so quickly... having Everly Films there allowed me to see and hear special moments I might have otherwise missed. Pre- wedding, they answered any and all questions for us and were prompt to respond (which is super helpful when planning your day!). On our wedding day, they were polite and sweet while capturing every aspect. They were never obtrusive or in anyone's way and they still managed to get the most amazing shots!!! They were awesome to make sure they captured everything we wanted while still using their talented eyes to capture shots they knew would be good for the video. Jay and Chelsea got all the sweet and personal moments that I never want to forget. Our wedding trailer was absolutely beautiful and I heard so many compliments from our family and friends! Chelsea and jay (Everly films) are so friendly and out going. They make you feel so comfortable you feel like and family and as if your just living life and not being video taped! My husband and I did the love story package and would recommend having them do that as well, because not only do we have a DVD of our wedding ceremony we have a video of my husband and I reminiscing on our relationship prior to marriage. Before meeting jay and Chelsea I would have never considered getting a videographer, but after meeting with them we realized how important it was. But after seeing our video and our love story video I would recommend Everly films to anyone and everyone, because they have pure talent, take your input, make you feel comfortable, and their prices are extremely reasonable! It almost pains me to write this review. First, to be fair let me say that both my husband and I really like Jay and think he does good work. But here's the thing, you have to DELIVER on all service aspects. We were married in early June and received a link to our trailer at the end of July, and really loved it! We loved it so much, we couldn't wait to see the final deliverable. He asked for our address to send the final footage and we eagerly waited. After a month went by, we reached out again. My family was holding an informal reception back in my hometown and we thought it would be nice to share the ceremony with them. He apologized and said he would send it out the next day. I contacted him two more times that week, each with a promise that we would have it for the reception - he even said he would upload it on dropbox in case the shipment didn't make it. Great! But... didn't happen. No video.
The package arrived the week after we returned. When I popped in the DVD, another wave of disappointment. It contained only two files: the wedding trailer (which we already had) and 20 minutes of raw footage. There was no audio, it was just 20 minutes of random footage that he shot while we were getting ready and of the ceremony. We asked to schedule a call. He called the next day and left a voicemail, apologizing, saying it was an accident that he would get it all fixed and send it ASAP. Another 1.5 weeks goes by and he apologizes that he didn't get to it, but will send out tomorrow. It's now October, and we're still waiting.
You never know what people have going on in their lives, but the fact is we paid for a service. He promises to send things, then does not. Maybe since we eloped and had a smaller fee we're not as important as the high profile weddings. Beware.
