Nicole Sent on 12/01/2016Everything But The Groom bridal was so beautiful. Trying on dresses in the private fitting rooms and having such amazing service by the girls made me feel like a princess! Every time I went in, the girls remembered me, and made me feel welcome and special. The seamstress, Victoria, designed a gorgeous and very original bustle and got the dress to fit me and had it ready in time. The dresses EBTG offers are beautiful and affordable, everything was high quality from what I saw. -
User2455605 Sent on 12/06/2015These guys were awesome! I called last minute and asked if I can come and look at dresses, knowing Id be too late for an appointment. I came in, was greeted nicely, and then asked if it is possible to try on some of the dresses I was eyeing. They were SO accommodating and allowed me to try on the dresses. The lady was very helpful with assisting me in the wedding dresses, etc. I will be making a second appointment to come back with my family.
OH and they have BEAUTIFUL dresses.....they select gorgeous dresses from the designers they carry and their prices are VERY reasonable. -

Michelle Sent on 10/14/2014I bought my dress at Everything But the Groom and I am SO happy with it! I had a great experience here, unlike at other salons. I walked in without an appointment and I did not expect them to serve me but they did, and graciously. I picked out 3 dresses, instantly hated 2 of them and fell in love with the 3rd. I slept on it for 2 weeks, and ended up coming back to buy the dress! The staff went above and beyond with service - emailing me to let me know the dress was going on sale and that if I'd like to change my appointment to that day, I could, so I could get the sale price.
I highly recommend this store for bridal gowns - and they have lots of bridesmaid options too. It's worth the drive out, even from Vancouver!! Thank you EBTG for making my "dress stress" melt away! I can't wait to wear it on the big day! :) -

User2388372 Sent on 10/25/2015after searching all of the huge bridal stores in the lower mainland it wasn't until i found this cute little bridal store on a one way street in Langley that i fell in love with the most beautiful unique wedding dress i could ever ask for. the service was great and the girls really know what they are doing. i would definitely recommend checking them out.

User1828455 Sent on 09/24/2014This was the first place I went to when wedding dress shopping, and after looking at other stores, I came back and picked the first dress I tried on! :) My shopping experience here was wonderful; I had the dressing room to myself, a lovely, bubbly lady helping me pick dresses, a platform to show my dresses off, and a throne-like couch for my bridesmaids to hang out on! It was so much fun, doubly so because the store took good care of us the whole way through.
I also have a very small frame, and needed alterations; these were done efficiently and on time which i appreciated. I also think out of many stores out there, Everything but The Groom gives really great quality for what you're paying. -
User2241437 Sent on 07/25/2015I have bought 2 dresses from EBTG one bridesmaid dress and my wedding dress. The Girls are very attentive, nice and patient with you. Although I did have to argue with one girl with what size to order for me as my seamstress insisted on getting 2 sizes bigger (to accommodate my large breasts). The store was always clean and has lots of affordable selections and sizes to try on. I would recommend this boutique and shop there again. -
User2203548 Sent on 06/30/2015I had a couple of really bad experiences shopping and when I arrived at Everything But the Groom I had very low expectations. I was so surprised, the showroom was beautiful, the dresses were spectacular and my attendant was beyond amazing. Daniela was so lovely, helpful and she made me feel beautiful - took the time to really do up every dress properly and suggesting other dresses based on what I liked and disliked about each dress. GO HERE!! -

I felt that I had lots of help from the staff there and my own room for my friends and family to sit in while we went through the dresses. A slight issue with the seamstress. She convinced me out of some slight alterations that would have been helpful in holding up the dress. She was also very vocal about whether or not brides needed to lose weight, etc.

User2086576 Sent on 04/03/2015My first experience with them was fine, my second was not.
My first experience was when I was looking for a wedding dress and they were great and very helpful looking for styles and giving me tips on how to pick up the dresses. I ended up buying a dress from a different store but my two bridesmaids got their dress from here and that's where the problems started.
We ordered the dresses in September and they came in in November and I was told that one had a huge hole in the front, but they had dealt with it and reordered the dress and it was to come in for March (my wedding is in May). So they came in around mid-March and we just had the alterations appointment yesterday, which is also the first fitting (1 month to the wedding) and it was AWFUL.
They were 15 mins late to begin (which wasn't too bad) but then, once the girls had gotten into the dress (and we weren't given a room since the previous alterations appointment was still there), the seamstress comes in in a huff and starts basically criticizing my girls because you can see their bras on the sides and the back (they're big chested girls and need the support), saying that this doesn't work and that doesn't work and you can't wear this and that they need to get something to pull down the bra straps at the back and she can't do anything until that's done and literally tells us, word for word, to get out. It was the most rude customer service I have ever had in my life and I was furious. I rescheduled an appointment for later in case I couldn't find another place to get alterations done, but as soon as I found a different place I canceled.
In summary, if you're a bride they'll treat you fine, but heaven forbid you get alterations done there, especially if you have a dress that requires specific underwear.
To top it all off, if you look closely enough, the two dresses are slightly different shades of blue.

User2960567 Sent on 01/28/2017I had a horrible experience at Everything But the Groom today. My friends and I had walked into the store searching to find a prom dress for one of our friend. At this store you're suppose to put a clip onto any dresses you would like to reserve for yourself when a room is ready for you, we had placed one onto a cropped top, but apparently these ladies didn't work by their system of using these pointless clips. So they allowed a girl that had a room already to take the one and only top we had reserved which is completely fine, but we all sat in the change room waiting for 40 minutes for them to bring the top for us to try. We had no assistance, all the other change room's had at least 1 or 2 ladies helping, while all my friends and I waited in the room for so long. We eventually left the store, in search to find some quality dresses and service. We went to David's Bridal, and I rate this place 10/10, I highly recommend everyone to go there!

This is a very busy time of year and those people that make appoitnments have to be given first priority, since they took the time to make an appointment.
