  Truly a Joy!

  It was truly a joy to work with Stephen and Susan. They were amazing. There really are no words to adequately describe how amazing and professional they are! When my husband and I first spoke about what was important for us to invest in for our wedding day, photography was at the very top of our lists. The moment we met Susan and Stephen, all our fears disappeared and we knew they would make our wedding day AMAZING. They have a way of making you feel so comfortable in front of a camera and they let us be ourselves. And the pictures are stunning! Thank you so much, Susan and Stephen!!!!!

  Truly incredible experience!

  When I first got engaged I was completely set on not getting engagement pictures done. I’ve never been someone who liked getting pictures done or felt comfortable in front of the camera. But I am SO glad I gave it a chance and had Stephen and Susan do our engagement pictures. They made the entire experience, from booking, to the session, to receiving the photos completely painless. They even showed how flexible they were when they agreed to meet spur of the moment when it snowed since we expressed how much we’d like to get our pictures done in the snow. We received our pictures back very quickly and I can’t wait to put them up all over my house! If you’re looking for a worry free experience Evoking Light is the way to go!

  100 Stars!!!

  I wish there was an option to put 100 stars instead of only 5, because Susan and Stephen ABSOLUTELY deserve it! When I began considering photographers, I limited myself to engagement photos only because my wedding was in England, and I knew I would have to use a local photographer for our wedding. After we worked with Susan and Stephen and received our photos we were completely blown away. We knew immediately that we would regret working with any other photographer and asked them to join us in England for our wedding. We couldn’t have made a better decision, and I will always be thankful that they agreed to work with us! Susan and Stephen have a way of producing both beautiful and touching candid photos as well as gorgeous artistic shots that make me feel like a movie star! I can not recommend them enough!

  Could not be happier!

  Evoking Light Photography did a revisit "wedding shoot" for us a couple of years after our wedding. I had to cut my all of my hair off right before our wedding. Therefore, I had very few pictures taken at our ceremony. But I still wanted to have great photos of us with my usually long hair. Evoking Light was all too happy to help us out, and they agreed to do an engagement style shoot of my husband and I in our wedding garb. The photos were fantastic! We liked them so much we had them come to our home to photograph our doggies as well, and we could not be happier with the outcome.

  Stephen and Susan did an awesome job with our engagement pictures! They were extremely easy to work with, made the pictures very accessible, and made our shoot look great. Would highly recommend.

  So helpful!

  We recently used Stephen and Susan and we couldn't have been happier! They were so helpful in answering the many questions we had about dress, location, and photo ideas leading up to the day of our session. They had lots of great thoughts and took into consideration some of the suggestions we had, too! I was so excited to see the final results. I can't wait until I need to use them, again!

  Cannot recommend Susan and Stephen enough. They are a power couple team that inspires you with #relationshipgoals ! Susan and Stephen were all smiles, were super supportive, and really went above and beyond on our wedding day. The pictures came out beautifully, and I appreciate their image hosting platform. Both of them are very responsive and will make sure your pictures are one less thing to worry about on your big day.

  CANNOT recommend these two enough!

  I’ve been working with Stephen and Susan for three years now for events, portraits, business owner sessions and more so when it came time to book a photographer for our engagement and big day I knew I needed them by my side! I could share a million reasons why I love them but here is the biggest one - THEY ARE REAL. These two are the most down to earth people I have ever met and that plays into how they make you feel WHILE they are photographing you. There are not posed shots and forced smiles here. With these two you really don’t even know they are there! You get the images back and you’re like WHEN DID YOU EVEN TAKE THIS?! Then you cry hysterically because they have captured you in your truest form and it totally authentic. Another reason I love them? They both bring different skills to the table. They can do your standard shots, they can do girly stuff and then some big exciting creative shots. They are not one trick ponies and always have something up their sleeves to make your photos stand out instead of those boring going through the motions shots. I get compliments on our photos ALL the time and I am proud to pass their name along Every. Single. Time. I am an event planner and complete control freak and Stephen and Susan and one of the only people I’ve EVER worked with that when they show up I never have to worry. I know without a doubt they are going to deliver on what I ask them to do. CANNOT recommend these two enough.

  Susan and Stephen are just that good!

  We wouldn't use any other photographers for anything, ever. We can't recommend Evoking Light enough! So much so we even brought them along on our destination wedding in Cancun because they are the only ones we fully trust. The resort we were married at even offered FREE wedding photographers, but we opted to pay to have Stephen and Susan come along instead because they are just that good. They are great at capturing the wonderful moments of your wedding on camera so you can look back on them and remember your special day exactly! Extremely professional, quick work, and high-quality results. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed with their work, trust me.

  I can't speak highly enough of Stephen and Susan. Their professionalism is evident from the moment you meet them, and the care they took with our engagement and wedding photos was perfect. The quality of the photos was far beyond my expectations. I recommend them for any and every event you have.
