  I love this place!

  Evolve provided hair and makeup services for me and my bridesmaids on site. They were very accommodating! I loved how my hair and makeup turned out and the staff is so friendly!

  When it came to hair and makeup for my wedding day, I didn't have to think twice about choosing Evolve Studio. They offer great packages for bridal parties and the stylists were so talented and fun! Communication with Evolve was also fast and easy. They do a great job at checking in to see if you need to adjust your contract closer to the day (which is nice when bridesmaid change their minds on hair styles and whether they want to add make up or not). We came in at 9am and had 9 total women completely done by shortly after Noon. Everyone got their hair done and many got makeup as well. They also allowed us to bring in food and mimosas for the morning. They allowed us to put our own playlist over the studio's sound system as well. We truly had the studio to ourselves until about 11:30. The stylists were all so fun to be around and set such a happy and positive tone for the day.
  As the bride, I worked with Laura Arnold who was AMAZING! Let me say it again for the people in the back....LAURA WAS SO TALENTED AND INCREDIBLE! I did a hair trial with her in July and she totally nailed my vision for my hair style. She is also so kind and personable that she is great to talk to while you get your hair done. My hair style stayed in ALL DAY! It did not fall apart at all, but still looked very natural (not stiff). Laura also did my makeup for the wedding day. She was so open to my input and gave me advice on which products to use (like she chose the perfect lip color and was receptive to my feedback to make the eyeliner a little more dramatic).
  I highly recommend Evolve to all brides out there looking for a perfect team of stylists for your wedding day! We chose to have our services in the salon since the venue was close to State College, but I know they offer on-site services as well.

  Lauren Vaught and Evolve were the best stylists for our wedding! When my husband and I decided to get married in State College, I knew I would be asking Lauren to help on our big day. She used to style my hair as an undergrad student, as well as 3 of my bridesmaids! We've maintained a friendship all these years, which is really special considering I was initially just a random client. Her personality is the best - so light hearted, so caring and so fun. And of course, she is just as amazingly talented with hair and make up!!
  
  When we set the date, she immediately gave me helpful advice on how to maintain my hair during the year+ prior to the wedding. Then, we did both a hair and makeup trial a few months before the wedding. It was really helpful and reassuring. She asked questions about what I was looking for and gave suggestions based on my hair, skin, and personal style. Shannon from her office was great in answering questions and coordinating moving parts.
  
  Fast forward to the wedding day... When she and the other stylists arrived to the bridal suite in the morning, everyone was kind, happy, and energetic, which was the perfect energy during the morning of one's wedding. I had complete trust in Lauren and the stylists and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I highly recommend Lauren and Evolve as your wedding day stylists!!

  Lauren and her team from Evolve were brilliant for wedding day hair and make-up! I went in about two months prior to do a consult and trial for my hair. She talked me through the whole process, asked me about the feel of my wedding, and looked at pictures of my gown and the styles I liked for both hair and make-up. She really took the time to get to know me and was spot on with my whole look on the first try! Shannon at the desk was super helpful in planning the schedule for the day of and made it easy for me to make changes, as my bridal party switched things up on me :) The day of was smooth sailing and such a blast! Lauren and two other stylists traveled to our hotel suite, arriving early to get set-up, and then they kept us ladies moving through all morning. The additional stylists were attentive to my maids and the moms, and everyone looks fabulous when they were finished. Lauren was just as good day-of, nailing my look and making the slight tweaks I had ask for on my make-up. Her work was totally flawless- I looked amazing when I got back to the hotel after a day of outdoor ceremony and pictures, food, drinks and dancing. My whole bridal party was thrilled with their looks as well, and everyone looks terrific for our big day! Plus, Lauren and her crew were just fun to have in the hotel with us, joking and laughing as we got ready. It helped keep my nerves down, and truly started our wedding day on a high note!!

  If you're looking to have your hair and makeup done in the State College area you MUST go to Evolve! Evolve did my hair and make up (as well as my mom and bridesmaids) on my wedding day and I couldn't have been happier. They truly made me feel so beautiful and relaxed throughout the whole morning getting ready. Lauren made it feel like just hanging out with a good friend. She does an absolutely beautiful job and really listens to the look you're going for and makes it a reality!

  I couldn't have asked for a sweeter, more comforting and professional group of girls to help me feel beautiful on my big day. Lauren has excellent taste and was extremely accommodating to my pickiness over my hair style and makeup. The staff squeezed all eight of my bridesmaids and myself into Evolve's busy schedule on pretty short notice, and they even came to our location! We had endless compliments on our hair and makeup, I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently the girls worked on the big day! So thankful to have found these ladies, and am already recommending them to my engaged friends.

  Evolve Studio is definitely one of the best salons I have been to and I would definitely say they are the best in State College, too! Everyone was so responsive, helpful, and talented! My hair and makeup, as well as all of my bridesmaids' looks were absolutely amazing! They were very efficient with their services, and even came in early to accommodate my scheduling needs on my wedding day. I can't say enough good things about Evolve!

  Hands down best Hair Studio in State College. I booked Evolve for myself, bridal party and some family members. I worked with Ashley to get everything organized and she was very nice and helpful. The studio is beautiful and spacious which was perfect since I had about 20 people getting their hair done too! They had a bar area where I set up drinks, food and snacks. Lauren did my hair that I absolutely loved. Everybody’s hair and make-up was absolutely beautiful. Thank you ladies for making us all look beautiful on my wedding day!!

  Evolve did a wonderful job at our wedding. Lauren did my bridal hair and makeup which looked beautiful. Monika did my bridesmaid hair and make up and they all look spectacular.
