    Beautiful, historic venue

    I photograph weddings all over Illinois and beyond (Ernst Jacobsen Photography) and Ewing Manor is one of my favorite historic wedding venues. The beautiful estate of the late Hazle Buck Ewing comprises the manor itself which provides a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding ceremony, as well as acres of beautiful gardens for pre and post-ceremony photo opportunities. If you are looking for a unique, historic venue for your wedding ceremony and/or reception, I highly recommend visiting Ewing Manor.

    This venue is to die for. If you want to be married in central Illinois in the most beautiful venue that requires little decoration, then choose this place. Everyone swooned over this location. The staff is great and definitely worth every bit of its price.

    BEAUTIFUL location!!! Bad thing is since it is in a neighborhood, the music/event has to end at 10:30. They also want you off of the property asap when the event is over which does not leave much time for pick-up, especially after a wedding. I had the whole family help pick-up, though, and it was quick and easy.

    Bad thing is nothing is included, so you have additional cost of renting tables/chairs/etc to meet your needs. Makes it more pricier than other venues.

    They were Helpful at the beginning of the wedding planning, and attention slowly started to stop. The venue itself its a dream! Wish the music didnt have to stop at 10:30. We had to start even earlier than planned to be able to take advantage of the venue and party longer!

    OVerall very happy with the venue!

    This is an absolutely beautiful location for a wedding. The historic mansion provides the perfect backdrop for photos and makes a wonderful outdoor (or indoor) site. Words cannot describe its beauty. It is a lot of planning because if you have it outdoors you have to rent your own china, tables, chairs, etc.... However, my husband and I had our day here and it was perfect, to say the least!!!
